The court battle between Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster is heating up. The drama started when Usher wanted to take their sons with him on tour and Tameka said no. He then tried to get sole custody. She followed up with a motion last week for him to be tested for drugs so she could get sole custody. According to Tameka, when he was sick onstage in Germany and had to stop the show, he was “in delirium” and not sick as he claimed. She also alleges that back in 2008 she found “mysterious pills” in his jeans pockets and she believes he gets high. Tameka said: “I believe he gets high. And if he doesn’t then he’d take the drug test, correct?” Usher filed a response to Foster’s allegations last week, calling Foster’s drug test request “frivolous and unfounded,” and intended to “harass and embarrass” the singer. Gloria Govan and Matt Barnes’ break-up may have come as a surprise to the viewers of “Basketball Wives,” but according to Matt, the split was a long time coming. Though Gloria has implied that the reason the two broke up is because of his relationship with Eva Longoria , Matt is calling her bluff. He took to Twitter before Thanksgiving to finally set the story straight: “In May, Gloria & I decided to separate & in the best interest of her career, I foolishly agreed to portray that we were still together for her upcoming season of her show on VH1. As recently as August we decided to revisit a joint statement of our separation, but Gloria asked to delay making our separation public for the interest of her show. It is ironic now how Gloria is trying to manipulate the professional relationship between Eva Longoria & myself as the sole reason for our separation, when she knows we split up in May. According to TMZ , T-Boz aka Tionne Watkins filed for bankruptcy last month and currently owes collectors $768,642, mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house. T-Boz is not a big spender as she takes in $11,700 a month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821. She might have dodged the bankruptcy bullet if she’d been able to collect the child support she claims she’s owed — which according to the docs is $250,000. Things have not been easy for the singer recently, she’s battling Sickle Cell Anemia, along with discovering that she had a brain tumor that she’d been battling for three years. Rapper/actor Heavy D , who was known for his free-flowing, playful hip-hop style, was remembered by family and friends — and President Obama — in a funeral service held today in New York. Last week, the 44-year-old rapper collapsed outside his Beverly Hills, Calif., condominium. He was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Nov. 8. “We extend our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. He will be remembered for his infectious optimism and many contributions to American music. Please know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers,” the president wrote in a letter, which the Rev. Al Sharpton read at the service, The Associated Press reported.
