Justin Bieber hasn’t been heard from much over the past several weeks. And now we unfortunately know why: The singer has been off destroying his previously-smoldering body. The 23-year-old pop sensation debuted a new and unexpected look on Saturday via Instagram Saturday, lifting his shirt off to reveal.. … wait, what the heck did he just did?!? Bieber now has his entire torso covered in tattoos, from his collar bone all the way down to his chest… and also down to his lower stomach. Bieber initially shared on his wildly popular Instagram page a bathroom selfie depicting this rather extreme look. See for yourself here: According to E! News, Bieber’s new set of tattoos were done by famous tattoo artist Bang Bang. It took three days to complete his latest ink. “@justinbieber Thank you for the trust,” wrote Bang Bang on Twitter, adding: “26 hours over 3 consecutive days is the most I’ve ever tattooed anyone in my 13 year career. You’re tough as nails man!” Pretty crazy, right? We can’t help but wonder whether Bieber was trying to impress rumored new lover Paola Paulin , an actress on the HBO program Ballers who has reportedly been balling Bieber. By which we mean… the stars are totally having sex! Here’s an even closer look at the “art” that now covers every inch of Bieber’s chest and sleek stomach: Bieber got his first tattoo in 2012… and has basically been updating his literal body of work ever since. He has a photo of Jesus Christ on his calf… and a grinning Joker’s face… and an Indian’s Chief head. And A LOT more. Over 60 in total. As you might expect, fans of the artist weren’t thrilled with this look. “Please tell me this is a joke,” wrote one self-proclaimed Belieber. “NOOOOO!” another said simply. And then there was this one, who doesn’t like the look, but still wants folks to leave Justin alone: “I don’t even know why everyone is so overreacting? I mean, yes, Justin got his whole torso covered with tattoos but he likes it so shut the f— up “I don’t like it either but it’s his body and we should respect his decision.” We can’t let this one go, either: “Words cannot express how pissed off I am at Justin.” “What is he doing to himself,” wondered another. “Can’t he just go back to making music?” Yes, someday, Bieber claims . But it’s unclear when. Click around below, meanwhile, for a lengthy look at many of Bieber’s most embarrassing tattoos: View Slideshow: 17 Tattoos Justin Bieber Thinks Make Him Look Hard
Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato were both Barney actresses before becoming Disney stars as teens. Since then, though, their lives have taken down different paths — each with their own claims to fame, their own successes, and their own struggles. Demi recently shared a lot about herself in a documentary, showing how far she’s come but revealing that she still has a ways to go. And who spoke up to praise her for her honesty and bravery but Selena Gomez. Selena Gomez revealed her Lupus diagnosis back in 2015. The illness, which was constantly mentioned on House back in that medical drama’s heyday, involves Selena’s own autoimmune system attacking her healthy organs, perceiving them as intruders. Despite modern medicine, Lupus can still be deadly. Even with drastic treatments, including chemotherapy, Lupus has taken its toll on Selena Gomez, forcing her to undergo a kidney transplant in secret earlier this year. It was actually her friend, Francia Raisa, who donated her kidney to Selena in a life-saving display of friendship and generosity. Selena’s ongoing battle with Lupus has forced her to take multiple extended breaks from her career as an actress and from being one of the greatest singers on the face of the Earth. Honestly, as wonderful as it is that she was able to receive a kidney transplant, that’s not a cure. It’s a short-term solution for one particular problem. Some people are genuinely afraid that Lupus will claim Selena’s life. Demi Lovato has had more than her share of struggles too, however. In fact, Demi recently shared before and after eating disorder photos , highlighting her dramatic transition into being and feeling so much healthier. She’s also spoken at length about mental health — about bipolar disorder and especially about the debilitating effects of depression. Contrary to what some people might suggest, just because Demi’s illnesses are psychological doesn’t make them her fault. And it doesn’t make them somehow more deserved than Selena’s Lupus or anyone’s anything. Demi shared bits of her life and struggles in her documentary, Simply Complicated . But Demi also talks about how much personal progress she’s made. Demi promoted her documentary, which is on YouTube, via Instagram. Selena Gomez left an Instagram comment for all to see. “This was beautiful. I’m so happy for you.” Recently, Demi’s life has been full of many good things for her to celebrate. Selena’s praise continues: “You always continue to [be] bold and real. I wish more people were like you. Love you.” That is so wholesome. The world really would be a better place if more people were like Demi Lovato. Or like Selena. In the documentary, Demi speaks directly about her continuing battle with her eating disorder. “When I feel lonely, my heart feels hungry and then I end up binging and I don’t know how to figure out how to be alone.” A lot of people eat emotionally, even when they aren’t hungry. Demi’s situation is a bit more severe, which is why this is called a disorder. (Which means that solutions that work for most of us, like “oh I’ll knit instead of eating” or “just play video games that keep your hands busy” aren’t as helpful for people who might compulsively overeat) “One thing that I haven’t fully conquered is my eating disorder.” Eating disorders usually work a little like alcoholism — you might recover, but you never have a “normal” relationship with food. “Food is still the biggest challenge in my life. It’s something that I’m constantly thinking about.” That part is almost universally relatable, right? I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to eat today since last night. What makes it a disorder is that Demi has, in the past, struggled to stop herself from overeating — and then she dealt with self-loathing issues by throwing up. That’s bulimia, folks. Understanding that those battling mental illness aren’t just grappling with neurotypical impulses is important. It’s good that Selena Gomez has so much empathy for her friend. And it’s good that both of these talented stars are sharing their stories. View Slideshow: Demi Lovato: 19 Candid Confessions from Her Documentary

So there’s been this thing going on for the past couple of weeks, don’t know if you’ve noticed, where all kinds of people are really opening up about moments when they were harassed. It’s like women started talked about their experiences with Harvey Weinstein , then suddenly everyone felt comfortable sharing some real deep, dark stuff. It’s actually been pretty inspiring to see. People have called out Harvey and other celebrities like Ben Affleck and George Clooney for their bad behavior , and now actress/comedian Charlyne Yi is doing the same with David Cross. In a series of tweets made on Monday, Charlyne recalled the first time she met David. It was about ten years ago, she explained, and “he made fun of my pants (that were tattered because I was poor). Dumbfounded I stared at him speechless and he said to me ‘what’s a matter? You don’t speak English?? Cing-chong-ching-chong.'” “Then after he saw I was offended he asked me if I was going to fight with him karate in a southern accent.” She said that a few years after that, she was introduced to him again after she performed a comedy show, and “he said ‘Hi nice to meet you.'” “I will say this,” she continued. “I can tell the difference between this man making a joke vs condescending me.” “This happened 10 years ago and I sure as hell hope he’s changed (or at the very least, he’s scared enough to not be his racist self.” “HOWEVER,” she concluded, “it is very uncool that a 40+ man was being racist towards me, being a young 20 year old woman who was clearly on the verge of tears from his first racist comment.” So that’s a pretty awful story, right? But in a Twitter post of his own, David suggested that perhaps Charlyne simply wasn’t remembering things correctly. He wrote that this “accusation” was “deeply upsetting,” that he would “never intentionally hurt someone like that,” and that he does not even remember any of this happening. However, he also tried to make it clear that he wasn’t accusing her of lying, “and I’m truly sorry if I hurt her, it was never my intention to do that.” David said that while he doesn’t remember doing any of the things Charlyne said he did, he reached out to her about the issue, and he also proposed “the possibility that perhaps we are both misremembering exactly what happened that night.” He finished up his message with “I can’t believe I have to write this but I am not a racist nor a bully and loathe them in real life.” But after mulling the whole thing over for a while, he came to the conclusion that he may have actually said those things, but he just said them as “some asshole redneck racist character.” Because he grew up in Georgia, see, and he’s frequently used that kind of character to make fun of those asshole redneck racists. Charlyne just didn’t get that, apparently. After explaining that, he wrote that he was “done with this,” and that he hopes the people who have called him a racist have to deal with a similar scandal, because “maybe then you won’t be so quick to judge.” Yikes. Why is it so hard for some people to just make a sincere apology for something they’ve done? Why is that such a task? Charlyne made it clear that David offended her and hurt her, and not for some ridiculous reason either — regardless of whether or not he was doing a character, he said racist things to her and it didn’t go over well. Why does he feel the need to justify it so much when a simple “Hey, I was trying to be funny and messed up, I’m sorry” would have done the job? Whatever the reason, David’s wife, Amber Tamblyn, has jumped into the fray, too. And if you’re remembering her amazing words about feminism and sexism and hoping she’ll make it all better … well, you’re in for a surprise. Not a good one, either. People were talking on Twitter about David’s lackluster response to Charlyne’s story, and someone said that it was unfortunate because Amber is so great. “He said he was sorry, publicly, several times,” she responded. Please don’t @ me in conversations dragging my husband. Thanks.” Several people called her out for that statement, because David never really apologized, and he certainly didn’t do it several times. Someone even pointed out that she dragged James Woods “like a dead body all over the internet for being a perv but ‘sorry’ is OK for your obnoxiously racist husband.” Enough people pointed out the problem that she reconsidered, and last night she revealed that she personally spoke with Charlyne, “and her feelings/safety are all that matter to me.” “We’re good,” she added. “I owe you nothing, Twitter. You’re lucky to have me.” “I’ll say it again,” she wrote when people still tried to criticize her. “I spoke to Charlyne. I believe her. I’m about HER feelings/emotional health right now, not Twitter’s. That okay with you?” “I will say this for the last time. Do not hold women accountable for the actions, decisions or words of their partners. Don’t. Do it.” What an emotional roller coaster. Jinger Duggar has always been something of an outlier in the Duggar family. Even before Jinger distingushed herself by wearing pants (gasp!) and marrying a man her father didn't approve of, she had already gained a reputation as the Duggar family's resident rebel. Check out the gallery below for our rundown of some of her most memorable clashes with her stirct upbringing: 1. A Broken Courtship? Long before she met Jeremy Vuolo, it was rumored that Jinger was courting Lawson Bates. Many fans still believe that Jinger and Lawson got together, but the relationship didn’t work out. 2. Restroom Rebels Back in 2015, Jinger and sister Jana were accused of hypocrisy when they used a men’s public bathroom after publicly speaking out against transgender rights. 3. Jinger Duggar: Future New Yorker? Jinger once indicated that she’d like to live in New York City someday. Michelle Duggar was quick to publicly shut the idea down and many fans castigated Jinger for what they saw as her naivete. 4. Jinger & Jeremy: A Controversial Couple Jinger’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo, is not your typical Duggar spouse. A former pro soccer player, Jeremy has admitted to drinking and partying in his youth, a major no-no in Jim Bob’s world. 5. Jeremy Vuolo: Not a Hit With the Duggars Jeremy has butted heads with his father-in-law on multiple occasions. Insiders say Jim Bob and Jeremy frequently clash over matters of religious doctrine. 6. Jinger Duggar: A Closet Calvinist? Jeremy preaches the doctrine of Calvinism, which Jim Bob staunchly opposes. Sources claim Jinger feels that she’s torn between two worlds, but has sided with her husband. View Slideshow

Kesha has been going through a huge legal battle , but that pales beside the tremendous emotional toll that she’s experienced after years of alleged abuse and reliving the trauma by coming forward. That can change you. But though Kesha’s musical style has changed since her “Tik Tok” days, she’s still fun, spontaneous, and an absolute gift to her fans. And she’s baring her butt to prove it. Back in, like, 2008, Kesha surged to popularity with Animal . For the next few years, “Tik Tok” was basically required listening at most parties, and Kesha music has been a party staple ever since. Basically, if you’ve been to a party that didn’t play Kesha’s music, we hope that you brought the birthday boy a nice present — they’ll only turn 7 once. Back in February of 2016, however, Kesha gained attention for something very different when a judge’s ruling prompted her to sob openly in court . Though Kesha’s alleged sex abuse at the hands of Dr. Luke had been revealed years ago, most of the world had been unaware of her legal struggle to separate herself from the infamous music producer. Celebrities tweeted their support — Taylor Swift sent a check, actually. Singers like Adele used their platforms to voice their support for Kesha and for her bid for independence from the man whom she accuses of having abused her for a decade. In addition to those voicing support for Kesha, other singers who have worked with Dr. Luke have spoken out to condemn him, based purely upon their own experiences. Pink condemned Dr. Luke , saying that though she can’t speak to the veracity of Kesha’s accusations, Dr. Luke deserves what he’s getting because he’s a scumbag. Kelly Clarkson slammed Dr. Luke , saying that he’s not a good person. When Kelly Clarkson, who doesn’t like to bash people, is talking about you like this, something is up . Contract law isn’t built on justice, however. Even though this entire situation has been a PR nightmare for Sony, it’s appeared that their hands are tied. And Kesha’s fight has remained uphill. In fact, Kesha had to withdraw her lawsuit in California . In New York, however, the battle rages on. Kesha, however, is finally getting to tour again — and when Kesha tours, there’s more to the performance than just her beautiful music. Just look at this photo that Kesha shared on Friday. She captioned the image as “GlitterButt!!!” when she tweeted it out. That is just so cute. After everything that Kesha’s been through, it’s so heartwarming to see her feeling comfortable with her body and her fans — to see her both experiencing and spreading joy. Kesha has been personally throwing glitter on her audience, which is a blessing. A blessing that doesn’t fade. Two friends of mine saw Kesha when she came to town, and both were talking the next day about glitter following them to work despite their best efforts (and showers). One, who works at a doggie daycare, ended up inadvertently spreading glitter to the dogs. Harmlessly, of course. The other, an accountant, accidentally bedazzled her office chair. But that goes with the territory. Nobody’s going to actually complain about having glitter thrown on them by Kesha herself. And we’re guessing that fans aren’t going to complain about getting mooned by Kesha, either. We haven’t felt this encouraged about Kesha since she released “Praying” as a single . That song was a not-so-subtle reference to her horrible experiences at the hands of Dr. Luke, but it’s a powerful anthem. And her whole album is out, of course. Kesha is, as always, a gift. Even though she made the mistake of spending a decade of her life cleaning up Scott Disick's vomit , Kourtney Kardashian still has a lot going for her. She has three lovely kids, enjoys a “career” that requires her to do literally nothing except live out her lavish life in front of a camera crew, and probably owns about a dozen pairs of shoes that cost more than your car. But apparently, there's one area in which Kourtney is sorely lacking. It seems the girl can't play a prank to save her life. In a preview clip for this week's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kourtney and Khloe attempt to punk a sleeping Kendall Jenner. Their plan is at once simple and intricate: Kourt and Khloe plan to cram some chocolate in Kendall's butt crack in hopes of making the poor girl think she “sharted” herself in her sleep. Like we said, not a terribly complex plan, and if executed properly, it probably has amusing payoff. But that's the problem–you've got a couple first-timers attempting a prank with a pretty high degree of difficulty. Granted, we've never tried to put food in a sleeping person's ass, but we imagine it's pretty hard to do so without waking them up. This is a classic case of flying too close to the sun and Kourt and Khloe pay for their hubris in the end. It's like a Greek tragedy, but with butt chocolate. Next time, just draw dicks on her face and be done with it. Check out the failed fake shart below, and watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians online so you don't have to watch this scene out of context. We kid. Noting ever happens on this show.
