Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright Talk Marriage, Vanderpump Spinoff

Despite this season’s heavy focus on the Katie Maloney-Tom Schwartz wedding (and the many occasions for drunken debauchery leading up to it) Jax Taylor remains the heart and soul of Vanderpump Rules. Like The Situation before him, Jax is awful in the best way. He cheats, drinks heavily, takes way too many GNC supplements, and spends a bizarre amount of time on surgeons’ tables. But despite Jax’s wicked ways, he and his pious Kentucky girl Brittany Cartwright have managed to make their relationship work. Their odd couple dynamic has been one of the most entertaining parts of Vanderpump Season 5 (sorry, Tequila Katie) so it’s not surprising that for several months now, questions about the couple’s future have been circulating on social media. Specifically, fans want to know two things: 1. Will Jax and Brittany get married ? (Our guess: not any time soon.) 2. Will the long-rumored Jax and Brittany spinoff show ever come to pass? (Our guess: absolutely!) By most accounts, the Jax-Brittany reality show filmed last summer in Kentucky, and will premiere sometime this summer. Further details will likely be released around the time of this year’s Vanderpump reunion shows, but for now, a source offers this explanation to TMZ: “The focus of the show will be Brittany’s family pressuring her to get hitched to the bad boy… but he’s just not into sealing the deal.” Sounds like we’re in for kind of a lighthearted, fish-out-of water/Green Acres vibe Probably won’t pull in Vanderpump-level ratings, but could be an amusing diversion for two or three seasons. But given the low-budget, low-stakes nature of the project, the amount of secrecy surrounding it is downright bizarre, and it’s led some fans to believe there’s more to this thing than meets the eye. In the past week, Jax has twice dodged questions about the show, as well as about his future with Brittany: “I mean, I wouldn’t be opposed to it. I know they were talking about it,” Taylor recently told E! News. “They’re talking about spin-offs all the time with all of us, so I don’t know what’s going on.” On Monday, while appearing on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, a caller asked if Jax is planning to propose to Cartwright any time soon. He dodged the question by pointing out that they’ve only been dating for a year; she took to Twitter to remind fans they’ve been dating for nearly two years. All of this has led to two main theories: 1. Jax proposes to Brittany on the show, hence all the secrecy. 2. Jax and Brittany have been having problems, hence the reluctance to publicly discuss the spinoff. Robert Osborne Dies: Beloved Turner Classic Movies Host Was 84

You may not recognize the name Robert Osborne, but if you’re a fan of the Turner Classic Movies network, you almost certainly recognize his face. For 23 years, Osborn was the face of TCM, the number one cable destination for lovers of Old Hollywood and budding young filmmakers alike. A respected film historian and preservationist, Osborne was hand-selected by Ted Turner when the network launched in 1994. He was on the air to introduce the network’s very first film, Gone With the Wind, on April 14, 1994. “Robert was embraced by devoted fans who saw him as a trusted expert and friend,” TCM general manager Jennifer Dorian said in a statement released moments ago. “His calming presence, gentlemanly style, encyclopedia knowledge of film history, fervent support of film preservation and highly personal interviewing style all combined to make him a truly world-class host.” Dorian added: “Robert’s contributions were fundamental in shaping TCM into what it is today, and we owe him a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.” In addition to his time at TCM, Osborne worked as a columnist for The Hollywood Reporter for several decades. His “Rambling Reporter” column ran in the magazine from 1983 to 2009 and was considered a must-read amongst industry insiders. Tributes to Osborne began pouring in on social media within minutes of the announcement of this death, thus making the beloved TV icon a worldwide trending topic within minutes: “Very sad to hear about Robert Osborne passing. I programmed on TCM with him in 2015 & it was a treat. He couldn’t have been more charming,” tweeted filmmaker Edgar Wright. “Robert Osborne was a class act, a true gentleman & his historical nuggets as TCM host made watching those great old movies even better. RIP,” wrote Larry King. “All of us are better for having known him – I know I am,” said Osborne’s longtime co-star Ben Mankiwiecz. “So saddened by the death of Robert Osborne of @tcm. He helped spark my interest in classic films. He was a special man,” tweeted Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak. One Twitter user suggested perhaps the best method of paying tribute to a man whose life was so fully devoted to the cinema: “I think the best way to honor the life of Robert Osborne is to watch as many classic films as possible. Jenelle Evans Totally Loses It in Front of Her Son: Watch

We've always known that Jenelle Evans is a loose cannon. That she has a couple of screws loose. Basically, name any metaphor for an angry, unstable person, and it probably fits this girl . You'd think that as the years went on and as the babies kept coming, she'd calm down a little bit, right? That she'd manage to mature just enough to be a decent human being. No such luck. These days, Jenelle is less into drugs than she used to be, and she's figured out how to avoid getting arrested, but she's just as hotheaded as ever. And we see that in this alarming sneak peek for the new episode of Teen Mom 2. In the clip, Jenelle is at home with her sons, Jace and Kaiser. Nathan texts her to ask if he can swing by her house to pick up Kaiser — totally normal, but of course David freaks out. But we're not here to talk about David's massive insecurities. We're hear to talk about Jenelle's total inability to communicate in a reasonable way. After texting with Nathan, Jenelle calls her long-suffering mother, Barbara . She tells her that Nathan is coming to pick up Kaiser, but Barbara misheard her. She thinks Jenelle told her to come to her house to pick up Jace. A simple misunderstanding, right? No big deal, right? Fat chance. Maybe to a reasonable person without a track record of blowing things out of proportion. But to Jenelle, it's the biggest deal. As such, Jenelle predictably proceeds to flip out in the most alarming way. She yells at her mother, she ridicules her … it's bad. Beyond bad. Vanessa Grimaldi to Nick Viall: So, You Moving to Canada?

This season, The Bachelor spoilers have been as dead-on correct as ever, but there are still two installments left for a potential shocker. Might one of the final three be ready to throw such a curveball? Canadian beauty Vanessa Grimaldi puts the screws to Nick Viall on next week's episode of The Bachelor , asking him about the future. Nick Viall is used to being put on the spot, but not like this. In the sneak peek at Monday night’s episode below, Viall hedges when the Montreal resident asks if he would consider moving there. You know, IF they decide to further pursue this romance. “ Nick is someone that I can actually picture spending the rest of my life with,” Vanessa, 29, says, but he's also Nick, and it's The Bachelor . Do we even need to explain any further than that? “But at the same time,” the special ed teacher adds, “we have that sort of relationship where our conversations are always so heavy.” “Today I felt like Nick was questioning whether or not he wants to be as close to my family as I am. It’s been upsetting me.” During Grimaldi’s hometown date – Corinne Olympios got cut, leaving Vanessa, Raven Gates and Rachel Lindsay – Nick met her family. That's customary for Bachelor semifinalists, but what's a little unusual is that subject of where they would move after the show came up. It didn’t seem as if the two had discussed their plans post- Bachelor , so Vanessa brought it up during their subsequent fantasy suite date. That idea didn't necessarily go over all that well. “Is there anything that you would feel uncomfortable compromising on?” she ask. “Is moving for you something you don’t see yourself doing?” “I’ve moved a lot,” Viall, 36, responds. Ouch. “I’ve never imagined living in Canada,” he adds. “I’ll be honest, that’s not easy for me to picture.” “I hope that’s not a non-negotiable,” Nick tells Vanessa, leaving the door open. “I think I would do anything for the woman that I love.” “Not to sound corny, but I’m really proud to be an American,” The Bachelor star adds, very much sounding corny in the process. Vanessa's perfect response to that nonsense? “And I’m very proud to be a Canadian.” The plot thickens, eh?! (Sorry.)

Jenelle Evans Fires Back at Fans Over Negligent Parenting Claims

Every cast member on Teen Mom 2 has been on the receiving end of some harsh criticism from fans. But perhaps no one has taken as much flak (or clapped back as savagely) as Jenelle Evans. In the past, Jenelle, like her co-stars, has blamed MTV editors for her plight, complaining that TM2 producers go out of their way to make her look like a negligent and unfit mother. In some cases, however, Jenelle can’t point the finger at the show, as fans often draw their conclusions from the information that she provides about her personal life. Like the rest of the moms, Jenelle is something of a social media junkie. Unlike the other ladies, however, Jenelle has an arrest record a mile long, a history of violent behavior, and her mother has custody of her eldest son. Needless to say, she makes for an easy target, and her tendency to over-share on Instagram, on Twitter, and in interviews doesn’t do much to help her case. Her latest conflict with fans started last week, when Jenelle announced that she would be appearing on the Teen Mom 2 live after-show.  The scheduled appearance required her to travel to Los Angeles, which wouldn’t be a big deal, were it not for the fact that Jenelle just gave birth to her third child  in January. Jenelle was slammed by fans for leaving her daughter (who was then just a month old) in order to fly across the country for a television show. To make matters worse, Jenelle missed her appearance and decided to stay in LA an extra week to appear on this Monday’s episode of the after-show. Needless to say, the decision didn’t sit well with fans, many of whom speculated that Jenelle missed Monday’s show because she’d lapsed back into substance abuse. Now, in a new interview with Radar Online, Jenelle is explaining herself in a way that probably won’t satisfy her many haters: “I didn’t want to come on this trip to LA, but I had to because of work,” Evans tells the site. “I put up a big fight for a week and they told me it was a huge deal for me to go. The producer was even calling my phone asking me to go.” She added: “After finding out I could have stayed home like Chelsea [Houska], I have changed my flight instead of staying for this upcoming live show. MTV has still asked me to stay, but I told them I’m leaving no matter what I’m told.” Not surprisingly, the explanation didn’t win Jenelle many converts especially after Chelsea Houska contradicted Evans and pointed out that MTV would never force a new mom to travel against her will. “I’m sure MTV would FORCE a 5-week postpartum mom to do an after show,” tweeted one user. “I hear Jenelle is staying in Cali until the next after show… 10 consecutive days away from baby. Josh Murray & Amanda Stanton: We’re Working Things Out!

Even if you’ve never been there, you probably have a friend who has: Sometimes a relationship starts too fast in the beginning, and falls apart just as quickly, but while everyone on the outside can see that it just wasn’t meant to be, neither of the parties involved can let it go. That’s the situation that Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton find themselves in, and sadly, it seems they’re not yet willing to give on their lifeless corpse of a relationship. The first hint that Murray and Stanton are back together came last month, when the couple was spotted out and about together in LA. Shortly thereafter, Murray seemed to confirm the reconciliation with a series of cryptic tweets about the joys of staying in an unhealthy relationship. “Crazies stick with crazies #breakovermorepackingtodo,” Murray tweeted at one point. In case you missed it, Murray and Stanton got engaged after hitting it off on The Bachelor in Paradise, ABC’s social experiment designed to determine if couples are more likely to get married if they meet in a hot climate while drunk on Mai Tais. To the surprise of literally no one (probably including the couple themselves) Josh and Amanda broke up shortly thereafter. Now, however, Josh says he and Amanda are serious about patching things up” “I wouldn’t say we’re back together, but we’re working on things right now,” he said on The Domenik Nati Show. “There’s a lot of things that happened, there were a lot of struggles… For me, I know when I’m in a relationship I want to be with somebody who’s my best friend, who I can trust, who I can be with all the time. We have to get to that point for anything to work out.” He added: “After the show, it was very difficult, just how everything was shown and portrayed. “We had a great time, we fell in love, we thought everything was great, and then it was tough during the season.” “So we kind of had to fight an uphill battle for a little while, and it wasn’t an easy thing to do. But right now, we saw each other about a week ago back in Los Angeles, and there’s a lot of things we need to talk about.” But don’t thinking that Josh is open to the idea of reconciling with any of his other exes. Asked if he would consider giving his relationship with Andi Dorfman another chance, Stanton was firm in his response: “Absolutely not,” there’s no chance,” he replied. “I really could care less about even talking to her again. He added: “When I ended that relationship a while ago, that was the last time I spoke with her and I don’t intend to do that again.” It’s good that Josh knows his limits. You should really try to stick on one ill-advised reconciliation at a time. Best of luck, you crazy kids!

Hollywood is a small place and stars who wouldn’t seem to share enough in common to sustain 10 minutes of cocktail party small talk often form close friendships for no other reason than that they’re both rich and famous. Just like in high school, some people are deemed cool enough to move seamlessly between cliques, and it should come as no surprise that Jennifer Aniston is one such social butterfly, beloved by both A-listers and reality stars alike. Which is why when Paris Hilton’s mom says Aniston is pregnant , there might really be something to it. Aniston was in attendance at the 2017 Academy Awards on Sunday night, and it seems that while the rest of the country was preoccupied with #Envelopegate and Gary From Chicago, Kathy Hilton was busy spreading rumors about the actress: “Jennifer Aniston looks so beautiful tonight I am telling you she is having a baby girl. 100/ percent,” Kathy tweeted after the ceremony. She deleted the tweet less than an hour later, but only after being bombarded by requests to elaborate. Is it possible that Kathy realized she had shared information that she was supposed to keep to herself? Kathy, of course, was not in attendance at the Oscars, but she did snag a coveted invitation to Elton John’s after-party. Is it possible that she and Jen talked pregnancy, and in her excitement, Kathy spilled the tea all over Twitter. Eh … probably not. According to Aniston’s publicist Stephen Huvane, Kathy has no information about what’s going on in Jen’s uterus than anyone else. “Jennifer is not pregnant nor does she know Kathy Hilton,” Huvane tells Hollywood Life. The situation begs the question: What in the actual hell was Kathy Hilton talking about? For starters, Jen didn’t look remotely pregnant on Sunday night. Not only that, Kathy skipped right over speculation that Jen is pregnant and jumped right to speculating about the non-existent baby’s gender. Look, Kathy, we understand that your family is a bit thirsty these days, but this isn’t the way. The Internet generates approximately 40,000 Jennifer Aniston pregnancy rumors a day on its own. We don’t need you adding fuel to the fire. If you need attention this badly, we suggest you keep it in-house and start a rumor about Paris. Your daughter, not the city.
