The name Anthony Armstrong-Jones may no longer be widely recognized on this side of the pond, but there was a time when the Earl of Snowdon was a tabloid fixture with as firm a grip on the public’s imagination as the most scandalous stars of today. These days, Stassi Schroeder is once again the HBIC of her Vanderpump Rules chick clique. But as long time fans of the show know, it took her quite a while to climb back to the top of the heap after being bumped from her spot in Season 3. Now we may know what enabled Stassi to both act like such a boss and think it would be a good idea to date Jax Taylor when she first started on the show. Turns out, as is usually the case when someone is crushing it in one aspect of their life and making colossally dumb decisions in all the others – Stassi was on drugs. Specifically, she was on Adderall, which is pretty tame when you consider the quality and quantity of substances that must pass through SUR on a weekly basis. The amount of cocaine that Jax Taylor puts up his surgically-altered nose on a daily basis probably could’ve eliminated the need for a props department on Scarface. We’d rag on the dude for all the roids he takes, too, but if they’re helping maintain a constant state of rage toward James Kennedy, we’re all for it. Anyway, we were talking about Stassi, here. According to Radar Online, on the popular ADHD medication on an episode of her podcast. She says it helped her through long days of filming when the show first began, but it wasn’t long before she realized she was overly fond of the drug. “When I started season 3, I had just quit Adderall,” she said. “I was like ‘I’m not gonna be good. I don’t know if I can actually do this without taking a drug.’” Stassi says she’s glad she kicked the habit, but she’s not exactly a walking anti-drug PSA: “I didn’t need it,” she said. “None of my castmates needed it. But Oh. My. God… I was so skinny when I was on it, it was the best!” Despite the TrimSpa-like effect on her figure, Schroeder says she wouldn’t exactly recommend Addies to folks who are looking to not hate life: “So that’s that…it’s the worst drug I’ve ever taken, I swear to God,” Stassi told her audience. “I feel like it’s worst than coke because you get so addicted to it because it’s a pill and so you think it’s okay. Gather 'round, friends, and come hear the latest chapter in the sordid, seemingly never-ending saga of Kailyn Lowry, Javi Marroquin, and their messy divorce. Actually, “messy” probably isn't the right word to describe what's going on here. This is messier than messy. By a lot. See, it was in May that Kailyn publicly announced that she and Javi were getting divorced . And when you're a celebrity, even if you're a reality star who achieved fame after getting pregnant at 16 years old, public announcements sort of matter. It would seem like it'd be best to wait to make an announcement like Kailyn's until she was absolutely, positively sure that the divorce was happening, maybe even until the papers were signed. But nah, judging by this new Teen Mom 2 sneak peek, Kailyn wasn't even sure whether or not her marriage was really over until late June, at the earliest. In this clip, Kailyn FaceTimes with a friend, and she reveals that Javi still hasn't made up his mind about what he wanted to do regarding their marriage. According to her, he was still going back and forth on whether or not he wanted to work things out. It's surprising to say the least, because, like we said, she'd already announced their divorce. Thus far, the Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa break-up has been surprisingly peaceful and amicable. We were taken by surprise when the Flip or Flop stars announced their separation last month, and were then disappointed when Tarek filed for divorce this week , ensuring no reconciliation. But we’ve been encouraged by how maturely this split has been handled. Is that about to change, however? Is some mud about to be slung? Are the bitter insults about the fly? We can’t help but wonder on the heels of the revelation that Tarek is actually seeking spousal support from Christina. In court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the Flip or Flop anchor has asked his estranged wife to provide for him finally. He is also requesting of the court that his ability to award alimony to Christina be terminated. Finally, the legal papers confirm that Tarek is would like Christina pay for his attorney’s fees. The divorce petition was filed on Monday at the Orange County Superior Court and include a request by Tarek for joint legal and physical custody of his and Christina’s two children, six-year-old daughter Taylor and one-year-old son Brayden. That makes sense, of course. It would be strange if Tarek did not want joint custody of his kids. But what do we make of his financial demands? Is he pressing Christina for money because he’s angry over the way she’s moved on? Within days of the couple’s separation news going viral, we learned that Christina is dating Gary Anderson , the family contractor. The romance appears to be quite serious. “Tarek feels betrayed by Gary, as he had worked for both him and Christina and feels like he should not have gotten involved in their relationship,” a source tells HollywoodLife, adding: “He believes that things might have panned out differently if Gary had chosen not to get close to his wife.” So there you supposedly have it. Last month, the Internet learned of a frightening incident that took place between Christina and Tarek in May . The then-married twosome got into an argument that resulted in Tarek storming out of their home and into the woods, taking a gun with him. Christina was concerned for his safety and called the police. Once they converged on Tarek, he said he was upset, but never had any kind of suicidal thoughts. He simply took the weapon with him as protection against animals. After this unusual story went public, the HGTV stars released the following statement: “Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. “We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. After taking a holiday hiatus, look for Tarek and Christina to keep shooting new episodes of their HGTV series together for seven or eight more months. They are under contract to do so. They share two kids. They will be part of each other’s lives for a long time moving forward. “We plan to continue our professional life together by being professional, by doing our jobs well, by being prepared and by working hard,” the former couple has also said in the recent past. Jenelle Evans and Farrah Abraham are the two stars of the Teen Mom franchise that fans most love to hate. One would think that as the villains of their respective series, Jenelle and Farrah would have a lot to bond over, and for a while, it seems like that was the case. Farrah and Jenelle met for the first time just last year, when they partied in Miami for Jenelle’s birthday. They appeared to get along, and expressed mutual admiration for one another. Prior to this selfie-heavy Yalta conference, however, these two took every opportunity to attack one in the press and on social media. Jenelle has repeatedly slammed Farrah as “Miss Pornstar” (not the most creative nickname, but it gets the point across) and attacked her allegedly negligent parenting in interviews. Apparently realizing that she’s met her match, Farrah has remained uncharacteristically quiet in the wake of Jenelle’s comments, and it seems like she’ll take the high road again following Jenelle’s most recent trash talk. Back in June of 2015, Dylann Roof slaughtered nine parishioners of Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church as they closed their eyes in prayer. Throughout his trial, he maintained that he was of sound mind at the time of the attack, and he offered no sign of remorse when given the opportunity. Today, the 22-year-old was condemned to death by a federal jury. Roof, an avowed neo-Nazi, never made any attempt to conceal the fact that his crimes were racially motivated, and any doubts about his guilt were eliminated over the course of his trial. Roof confessed to his crimes shortly after his arrest, and though he did not carry through on his plan to represent himself at trial, he consistently went against the advice of his court-appointed attorneys, failing to In fact, at times, it seemed as though Roof was all but daring the jury to sentence him to death. Last month, Roof was found guilty , and the heinous nature of his crimes, coupled with his unabashedly hateful belief system seemed to make the death penalty a virtual foregone conclusion. Roof’s family has issued a public plea for privacy. Shortly after his arrest, they issued a statement saying that they would “struggle as long as we live to understand why he committed this horrible attack, which caused so much pain to so many good people.” Several of the victims’ family members pleaded with the court to spare Roof’s life, reminding the jurors – nine of whom were white, three black – that the victims were a pious bunch, who believed that all human life is sacred. In the end, however, it seems the jury felt that Roof’s crimes were so deplorable that no lesser punishment would be sufficient. According to testimony and police reports, Roof made six scouting trips to the Charleston church before entering during a Bible study session on June 17, 2015. He was welcomed by South Carolina State Senator Rev. Clementa C. Pickney and the other parishioners in attendance. He sat quietly among the group, waiting until they closed their eyes for a benediction. When his victims’ defenses were down, Roof fired 70 shots, killing Pickney and 8 others. The youngest victim was Tywnza Sanders, age 26, who bravely pleaded with Roof to stop the killing. “You blacks are killing white people on the streets everyday and raping white women everyday,” he replied, according to his own prison manifesto. Those present in the courtroom say Roof showed no emotion upon learning that he had been condemned to death.
