Ryan Lochte: Expecting First Child! (Unless He’s Lying Again!)

It’s been quite a year for Olympic gold medalist and perennially sketchy bro, Ryan Lochte. As you probably remember, Lochte was caught lying about being robbed at gunpoint during the Rio Olympics, resulting in one of the most bizarre and baffling sports scandals in recent memory. But the Loch-mess has a leg up on the rest of the world in that his 2016 is actually ending on a positive note: Yes, Lochte announced today that he’s expecting his first child with fiancee Kayla Rae Reid. “My Christmas gift came early this year, can’t wait for next year!” the 32-year-old captioned the above Instagram post. “Best news I’ve ever received #CLOUD9 #excited #family #love #2017.” Until today, of course, the news that Lochte won’t do jail time for his idiocy in Rio was probably the best news he’d ever received. We kid, Ryan! Lochte and Reid got engaged  in October, and clearly they got right to work on starting a family. A cruder site would make a joke about the speed of Ryan’s swimmers, but you’ll find no such boorishness here, good sir! Anyway, for most of the world, 2016 was a wall-to-wall sh-tshow, but Lochte’s had more ups and downs than a gnarly breaststroke, jeah ! He won gold in Rio, then lied and claimed he and his teammates were robbed in order to cover up for the fact that they got wasted and trashed a gas station. Shortly thereafter, Lochte went on Dancing With the Stars to kick off his unofficial apology tour. Things got off to a seriously rocky start when he was rushed by protestors while filming his first live segment. Hilary Duff Comes Under Fire for Kissing Her Own Son

The internet is a wonderful place, full of information and people who share your interests and porn. But sometimes, the internet can be a dark, scary, shameful place, full of nonsense and unfounded rage. This is one of those times. Hilary Duff — she’s absolutely adorable , right? She was on one of the best Disney shows of all time, Lizzie McGuire, and she went on to give us so many fun, memorable movies and songs . These days, she’s grown up a bit, and she’s the mother to a very precious four-year-old boy named Luca. And unfortunately, the motherhood thing is what people are getting outraged about today. Hilary took Luca to Disneyland yesterday, and she shared this cute little photo of the two of them: Adorable, right? Yeah, a lot of people didn’t think so. “That is a little much,” one person commented, while another advised “Dont kiss your son 🙁 is bad for the kid in a future.” “I personally feel you should not kiss a child in that way…” one person shared. “Maybe your husband but not your kid.” Yet another commenter told her “You should not kiss your son like that. There’s other ways to show love but not that one. It’s confusing for him, it’s not healthy…” Wow, who knew so many child psychologists followed Hilary Duff on Instagram?! And it looks like they were out in full force on her Twitter account, too. When she shared the same photo there, she got comments like “you’re sick” and “oh my…get a room!” OK, but instead of that, how about people get a damn grip and quit being such creeps about a mother kissing her child? Could that be an option, too? Lucky for us, Hilary Duff is as sassy as she is beautiful , and so she quickly shared this little statement about the controversy: “For anyone commenting that a kiss on the lips with my four year old is ‘inappropriate’ go ahead and click a quick unfollow with your warped minds and judgment,” the message read. Alan Thicke Dies; Beloved TV Star Was 69

Alan Thicke, a veteran actor best known and beloved for his role as the patriarch on Growing Pains, died suddenly on Tuesday afternoon. He was 69 years old. According to TMZ, Thicke was playing hockey with his 19-year-old son, Carter, when he collapsed, seemingly of a heart attack. He was transported to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center around noon and pronounced dead by doctors at that facility. The star often played hockey at a rink in Burbank, California. Sources confirm to TMZ that he and Carter were on the ice around 11 a.m. when Thicke began experiencing chest pain; he the got nauseous and vomited. The ambulance picked the actor up around a half hour later and took him to the hospital.  Thicke received a 1988 Golden Globes nomination for his portraual of Jason Seaver, Growing Pains. A decade later, he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy as a co-producer for the game show Pictionary. More recently, the actor – who was the father of singer Robin Thicke, along with two other kids – and his family starred on the reality show, Unusually Thicke. He also appeared as himself on This Is Us Season 1 Episode 1 . Expect plenty of celebrity condolences to pour in over the coming days and weeks, but here is what a handful of those who knew Thicke well had to say upon learning this sad news: Ellen DeGeneres : America loved Alan Thicke. Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna: Wedding Date Finally Set!

For months now, we’ve been hearing rumors of a Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna breakup . It’s not hard to see how fans and the tabloid media might have gotten the impression that the relationship is kaput, as it looks like Rob and Chyna are living in separate homes , even though she recently welcomed their first child into the world. But appearances can be deceiving, and at least one source is encouraging fans to ignore the many, many outward signs that Blac and Rob are having trouble. “They’re getting married! [And] there’s a date,” Blac’s attorney, Walter Mosley, tells Us Weekly. Asked for the date of the wedding, Mosley stated that he was “not at liberty” to disclose that information. Another insider, who declined to be identified, was a bit more forthcoming about when Rob and Blac plan to exchange vows. “They are planning on getting married next summer but haven’t planned anything else,” says the source. “They want to work it out with E! for another season of the show first.”  Yes, it wouldn’t be a Kardashian wedding unless it was planned in such a way as to maximize profit. Unfortunately for Rob and Blac, waiting for summer means there’s a good chance they’ll never make it down the aisle at all. This is a couple who got engaged and knocked up within three months of hooking up for the first time. Suffice it to say, they’re not known for taking things slowly. So it’s certainly not a good sign that one of them is suddenly pumping the brakes now that the wedding planning has begun. The long engagement might not be so worrisome on its own, but there’s more reason to be concerned. If you watch Rob and Chyna online , you know that these two aren’t the most stable partners on the planet. In fact, Blac and Rob have broken up on several occasions, even though they’ve been dating for less than a year. Kanye West: Defying Doctors & Driving Kim Kardashian Away?

Last month, Kanye West was hospitalized following an emotional breakdown that resulted in at least one 911 call. The rapper received nearly two weeks of in-patient treatment at the UCLA Medical Center, and while he has since been released, he remains under 24-hour medical supervision. Sources say Kanye is getting better by the day, but he reportedly continues to suffer setbacks, in large part because he frequently defies doctor’s orders. “Everyone in the family is still very worried about Kanye, but he will not listen to anyone because Kanye thinks he knows it all,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. The insider adds that West’s refusal to slow down and make his recovery his top priority has left his family and medical staff deeply concerned about the possibility of a relapse. Of particular concern is Kanye’s decision to bury himself in his work rather than confront his problems: “He has just become even more withdrawn and, instead of getting rest and relaxation, he is at his studio working 24/7,” the source claims. It seems part of the problem is that Kanye and Kim Kardashian are living in separate homes for the safety of their children. (The severity of West’s condition has not been conclusively determined.) The forced estrangement is reportedly taking a considerable toll on Kanye and making it even more difficult for him to focus on his mental health. “Kanye has spent very little time at home with Kim and the kids, which is why they have stayed at Kris’s house several times after Kanye had his breakdown,” says the source. Insiders claim that the reports about Kim and Kanye getting divorced are bogus, and insist that they’re only living under separate roofs out of an abundance of caution. It seems the couple is currently stuck in a sort of catch-22 situation: Kim’s absence is exacerbating Kanye’s condition, but he can’t live with his wife and children again until he’s well enough that he won’t be putting them at risk. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 6 Recap: Tastes Like Trouble

Sunday on  The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 6 , Cynthia’s amicable divorce from Peter suddenly became a lot … less so. What did he do that turned things upside down for the couple? And what about Porsha’s past emerged that she put a co-star on blast for? If you  watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , you’ll know that the ladies of Atlanta take threats very seriously.  If you recall, we left off last with Phaedra Parks getting a bomb threat. However, that was quickly brushed under the rug when it emerged that it was not a bomb threat.  The man who showed up at the wrong office was Phaedra’s friend, Drama. Yeah, the name definitely caused drama for Phaedra. He showed up with some new music and somehow the others in the office seemed to think he had a bomb.  Yeah, we’re buying it… NOT.  However, Phaedra took issue with Drama being racially profiled. She seemed to think had he been white, it would not have went as far as it did.  Elsewhere, Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore got their gossip on and started chatting about their boy trouble. Kenya was first up and she revealed the news that Matt Jordan had run off to California after she shared an old pic of herself with Jay Z.  The drama really never stops between this pair. I mean, it’s not like Jay Z is going to ditch Beyoncé to start making regular appearances on RHOA.  Cynthia then lifted the lid on Peter going on The Wendy Williams Show and revealing some of the finer details of their relationship.  Cynthia admitted it was holding up her divorce to Peter because they are struggling to stay on talking terms with each other. Talk about making a bad move, Peter! Later, Kenya revealed that things between her and Matt were worse than ever. Was that really possible? “He just came up to the door and kicked the window. He broke the window in the garage.”   Well, he kicked her door in! Yes, he’s done that before, but something tells us Kenya is not going to be taking him back in a hurry.  Cynthia then revealed that Matt may not be the man for Kenya and that she should think about what has been happening and whether he is worth the trouble. When Kenya came off the phone, she broke down to one to a producer.  “I feel like he’s a good person, but he’s just so f–ked up. He really is, but he just has demons,” she cried. “I just wasn’t the nicest person to him in the beginning and it’s like he holds onto all of that. I just think he resents me, and at this point I just don’t know what to do. I really love him but sometimes I just I don’t want to be fighting with him all the time.” Matt asked to go to Kenya’s house to have a chat. She agreed.  When Matt arrived, he was not impressed the film crew was still there and the pair got into another heated argument. After a few back and forth words, he left.  And that was that! Sister Wives Season 11 Episode 4 Recap: What an Embarrassment

Madison’s bridal shower took place on  Sister Wives Season 11 Episode 4 , but rather than a cause for celebration, it was … a tad awkward. To say there were mixed emotions about some of the gifts would be an understatement, but how specifically did the Brown family react? If you  watch Sister Wives online , you probably already knew that Janelle was getting worried about the gifts Maddie could be receiving for her bridal shower. Thus, she decided the best way to steer clear of the situation was to pass the planning over to Mindy and Dezi. It was probably for the best. She was not comfortable with the way things were going, so she was best off doing something else.  Being a bride, Maddie knew a lot was being asked of her so she delegated a lot of tasks she had to the sister wives. She also revealed that Kody would be writing the vows.  Very cute. Right? Well, she wanted it done in a timely manner, so she made it clear he would have to do so because she didn’t want him winging it at the last minute.  Kody seemed to think things worked best for him at the last minute, but this got everyone else worried in the event that this time was different. I mean, could imagine if there were no vows to say?  Yeah, that’s a good gift, Kody. Get practicing.  There was a big issue with the location of the bridal shower. Being outside, the ladies did not think about a contingency plan in the event there was adverse weather conditions.  The ladies were quick to get the double-sided tape out, and thankfully, nothing was tossed around. The gifts did not go down a treat.  It was evident there going to be some gifts that would ruffle a few feathers, but did anyone seriously expect Caleb to be the one dishing out THAT gift? Camouflage lingerie was not a gift Maddie was expecting and based on her reaction, it was not one that she wanted.  When the bridal shower was nearly over, Mykelti felt the need to muscle in and let everyone know she was planning to marry Tony within the next few months.  Talk about stealing the spotlight.  After the parents realized they could not speak to her like a kid anymore, they let her know they would need more time in order to get the money together for the wedding. They wanted it to be a great day for her.  Mykelti took on another approach and agreed to push the wedding to December if Kody agreed to pay for her honeymoon. She really knows how to wheel and deal.  The family then chatted about a connection Maddie and Caleb shared three years ago. The mothers picked up on it, but Kody revealed he did not.  As you can probably expect, he was not impressed at being wrong.  A mother always knows best. Right?! Mariah’s World Season 1 Episode 2 Recap: Did Mariah Get Too Close To Bryan Tanaka?

Mariah Carey has it all.  She has fame, children and a lifestyle that we can only dream of. At least that’s what she wanted viewers to think on Mariah’s World Season 1 Episode 2 .  The singing sensation also proved that she has a heart of gold. How so? Well, Mariah allowed her backup singer, Mary Ann Tatum to bring her 6-year-old son on tour.  “We’re all single moms, and it’s great. The kids make it so much more fun.” With all of the reports of the diva behavior, this series is definitely showing Mariah in a different light.  We also got to see some of the finer interactions between Mariah and Bryan Tanaka. Yeah, he’s the dude she’s currently seeing. In the scene, he visited Mariah backstage and it was pretty clear she was trying to get him drunk when she offered him a beer.  Did she have feelings for him all this time, or are these scenes set up by producers? We’ll probably never know, but they’re great.  Another key plot focused on Mariah’s “Good Side.” We’ve all heard about it before. It’s the side she will only ever allow herself to be photographed on.  Speaking to her makeup artist, Mariah revealed that she found out about it when she was just 19-years-old on a photo shoot, but she did not reveal who told her about it.  After being three hours late to the Glasgow opening night, Mariah became embroiled in a bitter feud between Anthony and Mary Ann. Mary Ann took aim at Anthony because he refused to get on the bus with her and the other backup singers.  Mariah tried to be the keeper of the peace because she didn’t like friction on her tour. However, Anthony felt the need to answer Mariah back and she laid down the law in spectacular fashion.  “Don’t be saucy on camy,” she barked.  I’m going to assume that meant camera. LOL.  Anthony had some words of his own for the camera, but he didn’t seem to address the fact that he was being an ass about the whole situation.  “For some reason, Mariah and I are off tonight.… I felt like I didn’t connect with her, like I always connect with her.” Yeah, okay then.  After Anthony finally got his own way and got his own bus, he tried to hug Mary Ann, but she was not ready to make friends with him yet.  “Get off me — I will hit you,” she scowled.  Who would have thought Mariah’s World would have arguments like that? We’re genuinely intrigued and can’t wait to see how all of this plays out for the cast members.  Funnily enough, Mariah is not the one causing all the drama. What did you think of the latest drama? Tarek and Christina El Moussa: SEPARATED After Insane Gun Incident, Feared Suicide Attempt!

Tarek and Christina El Moussa of HGTV’s Flip or Flip fame could not come across any more perfect on their hit house flipping show. Behind closed doors, however, their marriage – and possibly their mental health – needs serious renovations. Wait until you read this … According to TMZ, the couple is currently separated following a terrifying incident involving guns and a feared suicide attempt in May. Yes, really. And some of the details are even crazier. Their ordeal started, at least publicly, at the couple’s home when deputies responded to “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun.” That would be Tarek, and they had reason to worry. Law enforcement sources say that it wasn’t just a routine police visit – a massive group descended upon their Orange County property. We’re talking 11 deputies and a helicopter. Witnesses told police that just before officials arrived, Tarek grabbed a gun from his safe, ran out the back door and fled down a hiking trail. Shortly after that, Christina was seen running out of the house, crying and trembling for unknown reasons, but clearly shaken up badly. Minutes later, the police helicopter spotted Tarek on the trail (in Orange County, Calif.) and deputies ordered him to drop his weapon. Tarek immediately complied with the request. He told deputes he had no intention of hurting himself, and had only left the residence to go “blow off some steam,” according to TMZ. Why bring a gun with him, though? Tarek told cops that being armed was a precaution in case a mountain lion or rattlesnake came at him in the Southern California hills. In any event, deputies searched his house and ended up seizing five guns, including an AR-15. It appears all were lawfully registered. El Moussa was never charged with a crime. Still, clearly something is amiss on the home front, as Christina and Tarek confirm they are separated while they reevaluate their marriage. They declined to discuss the incident other than to say it was an “unfortunate misunderstanding” that sent him storming out of the house. They say they are committed to co-parenting. “[We] will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together,” they said. Fans who watch Flip or Flip likely know that Tarek, 35, and Christina, 33, are parents to daughter Taylor, 6, and son Brayden, 1. On their show, the couple – licensed real estate agents – buys, renovates and resells often distressed Southern California real estate. From the purchase process to renovations, staging and closing, they’ve made a living in a tough business – and won a huge following.
