Farrah Abraham Sits on Santa’s Lap, Gets Hate for Days

Farrah Abraham is not the greatest human being — she’s disrespectful, she’s mean-spirited, she’s ignorant, and she insists that she has none of these issues. But damn, some of y’all are just  cold . Like, yes,  Farrah is terrible , but do you have to make it about her face? Apparently, a lot of people feel like the answer to that question is “yes, we absolutely do have to make it about her face,” because Farrah got ripped to shreds after sharing this photo: It’s kind of sweet if you squint and have the ability to forget everything Farrah’s ever said or done , right? She and her daughter, Sophia, are sitting on Santa’s lap, having a merry old time, looking kind of happy. But still, countless people took to the comments to face-shame Farrah. “Tell Santa to bring you a new face,” one person wrote. “Yours looks ugly and bloated as sh-t.” “Ugliest picture I’ve ever seen!” another commented. “You look fat and your makeup is cakey and ratchet.” Another person tried to be nice, writing “I actually used to think you were very pretty now you just look stupid from all your surgeries such a shame.” And one more commenter just decided to be direct, telling Farrah “You look like someone just threw up on yo face.” Other terrible people decided to go after, Sophia, too. Several of them advised Sophia to ask Santa for a hairbrush, since her hair looks messy from time to time — sure, she’s a child, but why pass up a chance to slam Farrah ? Others — yes, as in multiple people — said that Sophia looks like “a spawn of Satan,” and some even made unbelievably low comments that really shouldn’t even be repeated. One relatively mild example of those kinds of cruel comments is “Your daughter is going to be ridiculed her whole life because you are such a piece of trash.” “Bet she wishes her mom died instead of her dad.” And then, if you can even believe it, the haters even came after Santa Claus. “Santa’s like yeah bitch I’ll come through the BACK DOOR to drop off those presents this year,” one sad soul actually thought, typed out, then posted. A similarly tragic human also wrote “I bet you let Santa stick his candy cane in your ass.” Is nothing sacred?! Seriously, there are a million things to hate about Farrah , probably even two or three million if you really sit down and think about it. There’s no need to get so catty about her face, or to bring her innocent child into this. And there’s definitely no reason to drag Santa into this mess. Do better, internet. Just this once, just for a little while, do better. View Slideshow: Farrah Abraham: A Ridiculous, Sometimes X-Rated Life in GIFs

Bullied Teen Commits Suicide, Shoots Self in Front of Parents

On Tuesday of this week, Brandy Vela sent a text message to her siblings. “I love you so much just remember that please and I’m so sorry for everything,” it read. Just moments after sending the message, Vela committed suicide via self-inflicted gunshot wound, pulling the trigger in front of her parents and grandparents in her Texas bedroom. She was 18 years old. What led to this horrible tragedy? According to CNN reporting, Brandy’s relatives – most notably her sister, Jackie Vela – think her suicide was the result of years of endless cyberbullying. “People would make up fake Facebook accounts, and they would message her, and she wouldn’t respond, and they would still come at her,” Jackie told CNN two days after saying goodbye to her sister. “They would say really, really mean things like, ‘Why are you still here?’ They would call her fat and ugly. She was beautiful, absolutely; the only thing people could find to pick on her was her weight.” In an interview with local station KPRC-TV, Jackie even explained how trolls would create fake dating profiles. They went to every possible end in order to torment this poor teenager. “They would put her number and they would put her pictures [on the sites] and lie about her age and say she is giving herself up for sex for free, to call her,” Jackie said. Police were alerted to these instances of bullying on numerous occasions, but there was very little they could do about it. “They couldn’t do anything because [the suspects] used an app and it wasn’t traceable and they couldn’t do something until something happened, like [a] fight,” Jackie explained. Jackie called her parents and grandparents after she received the aforementioned text message. These relatives then rushed home, entered Brandy’s room and bore witness to the unimaginable act of their loved one killing herself. Texas City Independent School District spokeswoman Melissa Tortorici told Us Weekly in a statement that Brandy “had a lot of friends and was thought of warmly by her peers and teachers.” In an email to CNN, she added: “Brandy was well-liked and friendly. Texas City High School students really liked her. She has touched many people as evident by the outpouring of love from her schoolmates.” Brandy’s organs, including her beautiful blue eyes, are being donated to those in need. And sheriff’s deputies will be addressing cyberbullying with students next week. “Today’s young adults and teenagers have grown up with technology and they have access to it 24/7. Many times they become very bold over technology and text things they would never say directly to someone’s face,” Tortorici said. She concluded: “It’s extremely difficult to stop someone from sending messages when apps make it easy to remain anonymous.” What a truly horrific story. May Brandy Vela rest in peace.

Cuba Gooding Jr. Gets Wasted, Curses Off Awards Show

Cuba Gooding Jr. may have won critical praise for his portrayal of O.J. Simpson on this year's FX minseries, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. But the actor is a different kind of juiced in the clip below. It was filmed at at something called the Footwear News Achievement Awards, which held this past Tuesday in New York City. Gooding was on hand to present the Social Impact Award to designer friend John Varvatos. Sounds simple enough, right? But the former Oscar winner, by his own admission, had a tad too much to drink prior to taking the stage… and proceeded to give us one of the more memorable awards introductions of the year. “Nothing says I love you like f-cking sugar,” the 48-year-old actor said to open, referring, we guess, to the food provided at the event. “F-cking boxed lunched. I’m drunk now, motherf-ckers. Deal with it.” The crowd laughed right along with Cuba because… let's face it… they knew they were at the Footwear News Achievement Awards. “I thought the BET Awards were cheap,” Gooding says below. “In the words of Spike Lee, excuse my language but, they can fu-k you too, Spike.” An insider confirms to The Daily Mail that Gooding went straight for the bar as soon as he got inside the venue, prior to making a “beeline for Rihanna.” Gooding was also telling people that he and his wife are now separated. Ouch. Awkward! Watch the uncomfortable (and hilarious!) speech play out below:

Student Gets Wisdom Teeth Pulled, Emails THIS to Professor

Over the years, the Internet has been filled with hilarious videos of people who got their wisdom teeth removed… fell into a drug-induced haze… and then said some pretty crazy $hit. Like the girl who believed she was Kylie Jenner . Or the girl who REALLY wished she had bigger boobs . But the following story is a first. It’s the first time in memory that a young woman has undergone this procedure and then reacted to it by jeopardizing her college career. Her name is Abby Jo Hamele and she attends the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. When she is NOT under the spell of hydrocodone, this 19-year old is happy and bubbly and relatively sane, as you can see in her Twitter profile photo above. But after getting her wisdom teeth yanked out and then getting all drugged up, she looked like this: She also believed that her very much alive pug is her dead dog Sammy . But that wasn’t all. Clearly a responsible student, Abby realized that she’d be unable to turn in a class paper on time as a result of her condition. Not in her proper state of mind, she nevertheless took the time to email her professor and explain the situation, giving us one of the most memorable social media messages of 2016 in the process. “I EMAILED MY PHILOSOPHY TA WHILE I WAS HIGH ON HYDROCODON I’M DEAD,” Abby wrote as an introduction and explanation for a Tweet that has gone viral. “I unfortmately got my wisdom teeth sliced outr and have not not been reacting very well to the surgeryy nor the medicatioon i were given/ so I do not thimk that I will be able to habe my paper finisherd by Tuesday at all,” opens the email. We really should just publish the entire thing right here, shouldn’t we? How else could we do it justice? Is tehere any way I would be able to send you my paper at any later date??? I wnt to do very good on this paper you know becayse i like to do well in my classes. please sir I workled very hard and thouught that I would be abel to finish it on timme but my doctor said I will most likelly not be normal again until at least Thanksginvg turkey. If you say no then that is okay but i would be sad and i would reallyyyy lik e it if you said yes. Thank you Kevin, my dude. Abby Jo Hamele (pronounced hah-mil-lee) (if you were wondering) P.S. I will answer youpr questions in class forever so theere are not any more awkard silence. and i will buy you expo markers that work (even thougjh our tuition should pay for markers that work) love you bye The teacher’s assistant actually went ahead and wrote Abby back, which is amazing. He’s clearly an astute fellow. Someone give this man a promotion! And someone give Abby a high-five and maybe also a strong drink. We’re guessing she could use it right about now.

Casey Affleck: Sexual Harassment Allegations Resurface Amidst Oscar Campaign

Back in 2008, Casey Affleck teamed with his then-brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix to film the experimental mockumentary  I’m Still Here . The film was controversial at the time of its release due to Phoenix’s Andy Kaufman-like immersion in his role, which culminated in a notorious David Letterman interview that left many convinced the actor was suffering some sort of mental collapse. Many predicted that Here would do irreparable damage to both Affleck’s career, and now it’s beginning to look as though that may be the case – but for reasons that have nothing to do with the failure of the movie. Currently, Affleck is enjoying a wealth of awards season buzz for his performance in Manchester By the Sea , and he’s currently considered in Best Actor Oscar race.  Unfortunately for Affleck, the increased media attention generated by his awards push has brought with it some renewed interest in a some disturbing allegations from his past. In 2010, two women who worked on Here came forward to accuse Affleck of multiple acts of sexual harassment. Producer Amanda White and cinematographer Magdalena Gorka sued Affleck for $2 million and $2.25 million respectively, claiming that Affleck verbally and physically harassed them during their time working on the film. White alleged that Affleck often boasted to her about his “sexual exploits,” and at one point instructed another crewmember to show her his penis, despite her objections. She also claimed that Affleck tried to get her to stay in a hotel room with him, and that when she refused, he “grabbed her in a hostile manner in an effort to intimidate her into complying.” Gorka made similar allegations and claimed that Affleck once climbed into a bed she was sleeping in and proceeded to “caress her back,” adding that “his face was within inches of hers and his breath reeked of alcohol.” Gorka described her encounters with Affleck as “the most traumatizing of her career.” Affleck was married to Phoenix’s sister Summer at the time of the alleged incidents. Shortly after White and Gorka filed their suits, Affleck publicly denied the allegations and threatened to countersue. He later settled both cases out of court for an undisclosed sum. Affleck’s situation is drawing comparisons to that of Nate Parker , the star and director of Birth of a Nation , who was also the subject of critical acclaim and awards buzz until the revelation that he was accused of a brutal gang rape by a woman who later committed suicide. Obviously, the allegations against Parker are far more disturbing (he was acquitted at trial, but his co-defendant served several years behind bars), but many still feel that Affleck is benefiting from a double standard. Parker, a black man, found himself at the center of a firestorm of criticism and negative press coverage, while Affleck has scarcely forced to answer for the charges against him. Parker’s name was quickly dropped from all conversations about awards season contenders, and his film quietly came and went from theaters. Audiences and the industry will likely be much more kind to Affleck. The younger brother of Ben Affleck has already taken home acting prizes from the Gotham Awards and the National Board of Review, both of which are considered early Oscar predictors.

Iggy Azalea & French Montana: Engaged?!

It’s only been five months since we first learned that Iggy Azalea and French Montana are dating , but it looks like the “rappers” (We’re not sure if Iggy actually qualifies for that title.) are moving much quicker than expected. In fact, there’s reason to believe that Iggy may soon become Mrs. Azalea-Montana, which sounds like something you’d scream out if you had a stroke while high on bath salts. Yes, French and Iggy are apparently close to tying the knot.  The rumors have been circulating for months, but the engagement was sorta, kinda, not-really confirmed by French’s brother, Zack Karbouch, this week. Asked by a TMZ pap if he and Iggy were related, Zack replied, “Soon to be!” He laughed, but it wasn’t the first time the possibility Montzalea marriage was mentioned. Last month, French took Iggy for a helicopter ride along with several member of his family, and it was widely rumored that he proposed midair. Sounds like the kind of baller way he would pop the question, and we have reason to believe that Iggy is eager to settle down. Until recently, the Aussie emcee was engaged to Nick Young .  The relationship fizzled shortly after video of Nick admitting to cheating on Iggy was leaked online: Nick Young ADMITS to Cheating on Iggy Azalea! WATCH! For his part, French dated Khloe Kardashian for several months, beginning in 2014. The rapper quickly became more famous for his personal life than for his music career. We’re guessing Tyga witnessed how much attention French was receiving and got a head full of ideas. Anyway, both French and Iggy went through very public breakups recently, and they’re on roughly the same level in terms of fame. So it’s possible this quickie engagement could lead to a match made in heaven. As a bonus, both of their rap careers are tanking at the moment, and together, they might be famous enough for a VH1 reality show. People love watching D-list couples pretend to be C-list couples. For about a season and a half, anyway.

Jim Delligatti, Creator of the Big Mac, Dies at 98

Jim Delligatti has died at the age of 98. This may not seem like especially noteworthy information upon first glance, considering you likely have not heard of Jim Delligatti and considering how impressive it is for anyone to live to be 98 years old. But allow us to rephrase: The man who created the Big Mac is dead. Kerry Ford – a spokeswoman for McDonald’s – confirmed on Wednesday to the Associated Press that Delligatti passed away at his Pittsburgh-area home surrounded by family and friends. A native of Pennsylvania, Delligatti opened his own McDonald’s’s franchise in Uniontown in the mid-1960s. It didn’t take him long to look into ways to expand the menu beyond such basic fare as hamburgers, french fries and milkshakes, which is what prompted him to come up with the idea of the original Big Mac. The item would go on, of course, to become the fast food chain’s most recognizable menu option. Delliganti chose to experiment with the burger that had been sold by the chain for years by adding two all-beef patties, “special sauce,” lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions on a sesame seed bun. It reportedly took some prodding on Delliganti’s part to convince McDonald’s to roll out the Big Mac nationwide. But it’s safe to say the company is very glad it decided to do so in 1968. In the end, Delligatti went on to own and operate 47 McDonald’s locations. On Wednesday, McDonald’s paid tribute to Delliganti via the company’s official Twitter account, writing: “Today, we celebrate the 98 inspirational years of Big Mac inventor, Michael ‘Jim’ Delligatti. Jim, we thank and will forever remember you.” The fast food chain shared a pocture and quote from the fast food inventor, saying: “I never would have dreamed that my creation would turn into a piece of Americana.” These days, of course, the food industry is all about unique food options and unusual twists on burgers. The Big Mac would be viewed as too basic and boring by anyone interested in the following types of burgers: But it’s important to remember where these ideas came from. They all started with the Big Mac. Which means they all started with Delligatti. May he rest in peace.

Maci Bookout: See Her Precious Wedding with Taylor McKinney!

It's always such a pleasure to take a look at Maci Bookout's life, isn't it? After all, she's never been in prison OR in porn. As far as Teen Moms go, she's pretty much a golden goddess. In recent years, one of the best things about Maci has been her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney. He's always been so sweet and just so wonderful with her son , Bentley, and as he and Maci had two children of their own, Jayde and Maverick, he's only become a better father. And then, on October 8th, Maci had the good sense to make Taylor her husband . Yes, grab your tissues and also hold onto your heart, because we got some wedding footage here. Maci was enough of a sweetheart to let MTV film her wedding for Teen Mom OG, and thank goodness for that. In this clip, we get to see Maci, Taylor, their children, and the wedding party pose for photographs, and we also see some lovely moments from the reception. We're talking fireworks, y'all. Literally. But perhaps the most touching moment from this clip is when Maci pulls aside Mackenzie, Ryan Edwards' girlfriend, for a heart-to-heart. If it's enough to make both Maci and Mackenzie cry … well, like we said, grab your tissues. Watch the moving footage below:

Khloe Kardashian: F–k Being Plus-Size!

Khloe Kardashian has always seemed to have a kind of weird relationship with her body. Stars, they’re just like us! In the past year or two, Khloe’s lost a whole lot of weight , and thanks to many, many hours spent at the gym, she’s completely transformed her body. Some might say the transformation came after many hours spent at the neighborhood plastic surgery office , but that’s neither here nor there. The point is that Khloe looks quite a bit different than she used to, and those changes can be hard to get used to. She spoke at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit earlier today — yes, really — and she was open and honest about what it was like to be “the fat Kardashian.” “I’m all for women empowerment,” she said, “and I used to be someone they used to label plus-size.” “F-ck that. I don’t want to be called that — I’m a woman with curves.” It’s a strange little debate, the one about the term “plus-size,” but it’s pretty clear how Khloe feels on the subject. Really, it’s just a term that makes it easier for people of a certain size to find the clothing that fits them, it’s not inherently offensive or anything. Though it probably didn’t help that Khloe was called plus-sized when she definitely was not . “I was what I would say is average size at the time,” she explained. “I was very proud of who I was, and I felt, like, so shamed at the time — to go into boutiques or go denim shopping.” “It was something that was super hard for me.” Poor Khloe even said that she was “embarrassed to go shopping with my sisters, who are petite.” It’s sad, because back in the day, Khloe would make all sorts of appearances with Kim and Kourtney Kardashian — Kim is 5’3″ and Kourtney is 5’0″, so at 5’10”, of course Khloe looks much bigger. Khloe has a much different body type than her sisters, which is fine, obviously, but that’s why people called her plus-sized, and that’s why she had a hard time finding clothes. Tall girls have it rough. But still, Khloe’s always identified as “a chubby girl,” and even though she’s lost weight, things haven’t changed in that department. These days, with her new denim line, Good American, which comes in a variety of sizes up to a 24, Khloe said “I remember the chubby girl in me and I’m fighting for my chubby self.” “It wasn’t about having a new denim line,” she went on. No, it was about “doing something that empowers other women, and something that is really going to break down barriers.” So that’s kind of admirable, right? Now if only Khloe could be more like this, if she could give talks like these instead of just being the most ridiculous girl that ever was , then we’d really be cooking … View Slideshow: Khloe Kardashian Gym Selfies
