For the about the past five years, it’s been nothing but bad news for the Giudice family of Real Housewives of New Jersey fame. From the moment that Teresa and Joe Giudice were found guilty of tax fraud, they knew they were in for quite a bit of pain and torment in the years to come. But the reality of their current situation likely exceeds even the worst-case scenario that the Giudices could have conjured in their imaginations. Though he’s completed his prison sentence, Joe Giudice is now facing deportation to his native Italy. While he was born in the Italian village of Serrano, Joe’s family relocated to Paterson, New Jersey when he was less than a year old. He claims to have no knowledge of his home country, and Teresa has made it clear that she will not be moving to Italy if Joe is deported. And so, nothing less than Joe’s family life and his ability to earn a living are at stake. While there was a time when it looked as though Giudice would be able to throw himself upon the mercy of the court, these days, his options are disappearing rapidly. Giudice’s first appeal was rejected, and while he’s still in the United States, it seems increasingly likely that Joe will be making an unwelcome trip across the Atlantic very soon. His teenage daughter Gia even appealed to President Trump to intervene on her father’s behalf, but the request fell on deaf ears. Now, Giudice’s lawyers are pulling out all the stops in a last-ditch effort to keep Juicy Joe stateside. According to Radar Online, the top-dollar legal team pulled off a minor victory this week by receiving an extension for Joe’s final appeal, thus delaying his deportation. Joe was originally slated to submit his appeal on July 15, but now has until July 18 to prepare his final argument. That may not sound like much of a win, but those few days could turn out to be significant, as Giudice recently attracted the support of The Immigrant Rights Clinic of Washington Square Legal Services (IRC). According to a statement issued by the IRC, the “amici curiae are demanding that they appear before the Third Circuit Court judge” in order to argue Giudice should be permitted to remain in the US. It may only be a glimmer of hope, but it’s better news than the Giudiceds have had in a long time. And we’re sure Joe is hoping this is his opportunity to turn his dire situation around. While the man is far from innocent, we wish him all the luck in the world as he battles against this cruel and unusual punishment. Here is a sentence we never expected to write: Pink has penned a lengthy message on Instagram in which she strongly stands up for her decision to snap a photo of her children running around while visiting a Holocaust memorial in Germany. Allow us to set the unexpected stage, shall we? On Sunday, the beloved artist jumped on social media to share a series of pictures from her family’s time in Berlin. In one of these snapshots, Pink and Carey Hart’s kids — Willow, 8, and Jameson, 2 — can easily be seen running in that that city’s globally-known and revered Holocaust Memorial. After sharing the image (below), Pink received some critical comments about the photo, including one that read as follows: “Τhis place is not definitely a hide and seek place, dear Pink.” This is the photo that has stirred up such a major controversy around the Internet: The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, also known simply as the Holocaust Memorial, is meant as a tribute in Berlin to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust. It was designed by architect Peter Eisenman and engineer Buro Happold. Aware of the backlash, Pink included a caption with the picture that reads: For all of the comments; these two children are in actuality Jewish, as am I and the entirety of my mothers family. The very person who constructed this believed in children being children, and to me this is a celebration of life after death. Please keep your hatred and judgment to yourselves. As you can see, she didn’t back down in any way at all. Nor did she apologize. Do you think she should? Pink isn’t the first person to cause a debate due to her actions at this site. She may be the most famous, however. Back in 2015, a CrossFit coach posted a picture of himself doing handstands at the same memorial and the Internet reacted in irritated shock. In this case, however, most celebrities who know Pink have rushed to her defense. “I love Berlin too. I love that what happened is not being forgotten,” Selma Blair wrote in response to the photo. “I love this celebration of life. I love you.” Another follower went on to note that the architect of the memorial actually said that “children playing there is a good thing and that it is no contrast to the place.” The commenter added: “Children doing children stuff and enjoying their childhood is in fact a good thing there.” Pink, who has never shied away from slamming trolls online , previously stated that she was done posting pictures of her kids on social media. As for why she can’t help but trash critics on Twitter and Instagram ? “I have to [go after them] sometimes,” the Grammy winner told Ellen DeGeneres in April. “I feel like I can change their minds.” She concluded at the time on this subject: “I’m all about injustice. I don’t like injustice…I don’t like how brave people are anonymously and rude, just mean, mean, mean-spirited.”
Some characters make watching TV shows worthwhile. Others… not so much. Some make you wonder why you're even watching said TV show. Know what we mean? Below, we've listed characters who are a waste of air. It's sad, but true. They suck. And this is why: 1. Rick Grimes – The Walking Dead Look, we really loved Rick during the earlier seasons of The Walking Dead. He took the leadership role very seriously, but somewhere along the way, he started to make mistakes. He didn’t take ownership of them and continued to be in power. He may be gone from the main series, but fans still have to endure this character sulking his way through a trilogy of movies. 2. Jon Snow – Game of Thrones At one point, people cared about Jon Snow, but by the time the final season arrived, he might as well have been a guest star. He did very little for five episodes, before plucking up the courage to murder his aunt/lover. His reward? Going beyond the wall … after the Night King’s army had been obliterated. 3. Owen Hunt – Grey’s Anatomy Remember when April and Arizona were written out of Grey’s Anatomy because the creative forces behind the show were struggling to serve all of the characters? Well, Owen should have been the one to go before either of those two. His storyline has been tedious for several seasons. He sucks the air out of every scene he’s in. It’s time for him to go. 4. Alaric Saltzman – Legacies Alaric has appeared on The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and more recently, Legacies. The character continues to make the same mistakes he has since the character first appeared on screens in 2009. More recently, his ridiculous decision to not teach his students defensive magic almost resulted in a lot of them dying. 5. Laurel Castillo – How to Get Away with Murder It’s Laurel’s world and everyone is just living in it … at least, according to her. Every single plot twist over the last few seasons have most revolved around Laurel and her crazy family and it needs to stop. 6. Octavia Blake – The 100 At one point, Octavia was the best part of The 100, but her descent into madness during the show’s fifth season solidified her as a villain, and completely irredeemable. Beth Chapman, reality star and wife of Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, passed away last month after battling cancer. And if you know anything about Dog’s relationship with Beth, you know that it was an absolutely devastating loss. Beth passed away on June 26th after originally being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017. A few days later, friends and family had a memorial service in Hawaii , and Dog explained that they’d have another in Colorado at a later date — they called both states home. Yesterday, everyone gathered again in Colorado, and again, the service was open to anyone and everyone who wanted to pay tribute to Beth. That’s how we know all the unbelievably heartbreaking things he said in his speech there. For example, at one point in his remarks, he said “I cannot believe believe that she’s gone. This is not possible, I want to wake up from a dream.” “In the ’70s, I did 18 months in the Texas penitentiary and I told God yesterday I’d do five years, ten years day to day just to kiss her again. I never felt like this.” At another point, he told the people in attendance “She will never be dead to me. She is in another place.” “I’m gonna get to heaven and make her so proud,” he added. “she’s gonna say it like she said here, ‘That’s my man right there, that’s big daddy right there.'” Dog’s speech, which lasted for nearly 30 minutes, also touched on what happened after Beth’s diagnosis . “She’d gotten sick,” he recalled, “they told her she got cancer. they said she could do chemo though, they said she would have to sit at home while Dog films the show.” The show he’s referring to is Dog’s Most Wanted, which hasn’t begun airing yet but which did feature Beth’s failing health . “The show did not kill her but she died for it,” Dog explained. “She said, ‘Do you think I’m going to let you go out by yourself and film this TV show? You’re out of your mind.'” He said that he told her that she “might have to do chemo and stuff, but she replied with “All it’ll do is keep me alive six months longer and I’m not going to do that because I want to be by your side.” And while they were filming, “She would tell these guys on the show, “You’re trying to die doing these drugs and I’m trying to live.’ Those guys started bawling and crying.” Speaking of bawling and crying, Dog took some time to speak on one of the last conversations he had with his wife. “She said, ‘Please big daddy, please let me go,'” he remembered. “I said, ‘No, I can’t. I’m not gonna let you go.'” “I still haven’t let her go,” he admitted. Later, he said something similar with “If there’s a God, he won’t let me live that long without her.” Dog also felt the need to give some advice. “If you’re beefin’ with your old lady,” he told everyone, “stop and kiss her right now. Because you’re gonna feel so bad when he or her are not with you anymore.” “It is one of the worst feelings a man or woman could ever have, I’m telling you,” he insisted. “I’ve never felt this bad. I’m sad. I didn’t want to do a celebration of life because I’m sad. I miss her so much.” We hope he manages to find some comfort soon. Tori Roloff continues to be very open about her second pregnancy. The popular Little People, Big World star announced back in mid-May that she was expecting her second child. But Tori and Zach did even more than this at the time: they also announced the baby’s gender and approximate due date. “Zachary and I are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother! We are expecting a sweet baby girl this November,” the tandem said this spring, adding as a message to fans: “Thank you so much for always supporting our family and loving us!” Since this time, Roloff has posted several snapshots her growing baby bump , telling followers that it’s bigger than it was at this stage with son Jackson and that she feels self-conscious about the excess weight. It’s a feeling to which millions of women around the globe can likely relate. Now, via her Instagram Stories page, Tori has basically provided fans with their very first glimpse at future Little Girl Roloff… … sonogram style! Tori didn’t include a caption along with this image, but what is there to say about it, really? We just appreciate Roloff being so constantly candid about her expecting state and her baby to come. Just a few days ago, she actually grew more honest than ever, admitting that her stomach made her feel fat and ugly , despite the miraculous reason why it has been growing at such a rapid rate. “This pregnancy has been a lot harder on me than the last,” Tori wrote on Instagram, careful not to throw herself too big of a pity party by adding: “Don’t get me wrong-I’ve been so lucky… im not sick (anymore) and I haven’t had any complications (thank the lord). However I have had a harder time accepting my body this go around. “I’ve gotten bigger a lot faster than I did with Jackson and I’ve become a lot more insecure.” To Roloff’s amazing credit, however, she is using this insecure feeling as a way to build up others in a similar situation. “Hearing people ask me if I’m sure it’s not twins definitely does not help (for all our sakes-don’t ever ask a woman this question. Like ever),” she continued. “It’s been hard to really enjoy this pregnancy because I’ve let my own body image issues get in the way. Us as women are so badass. Like we can grow babies.” It’s true, fellas. Never forget this. Concluded Tori in this post/message: And I know I need to give this up to God right and be thankful for this gift-and I’m trying trust me. But for all those women out there-pregnant or not- you need to hear this just like I do: you’re beautiful, you’re strong, and dang it love yourself no matter what. It’s rare that a week goes by without Jessa Duggar getting mom-shamed for some behavior or belief that her Instagram followers don’t agree with. But it’s just as rare for Jessa to take this much flak in the span of just a few days. Earlier this week, Jessa was criticized for denying her daughter a pacifier. Many of her followers felt that this was an unnecessarily cruel restriction which did not serve to benefit the child in any way. Yes, it’s only been 8 weeks since Jessa welcomed her third child , and that’s the sort of backlash she’s forced to contend with already. We suppose it’s not hard to see why she’s not taking it lying down. “I always nurse my babies on demand, so she has constant access to the ‘pacifier’ God designed,” Jessa responded when a follower asked why she’s so opposed to pacifiers. “I am her pacifier,” Jessa added. “I prefer it that way too … Nursing isn’t only for food, but for comfort and Mama’s closeness.” Eh … not all that wacky an explanation by Duggar standards, and “God’s pacifiers” is a hilarious way to refer to boobs, so we’ll allow it. Besides, we have new and equally weird Jessa parenting controversies to move on to. As you may know, the Duggars are very, very big on disciplining their children. And this means not only are the kids punished at a young age (sometimes with such controversial techniques as ” blanket training “), they also start helping out around the house at a very young age. Which explains why Jessa’s eldest — 3-year-old Spurgeon — is already working a vacuum cleaner: Spurgeon Seewald Does Chores The Duggars have taken flak for their perceived unwillingness to let kids be kids, which may explain why Jessa decided to get in front of that criticism by posting a lengthy explanation for the video above: “There’s a window of time in the toddler years where little ones become eager to help,” she wrote. “It’s so sweet to watch their excitement as they are allowed to take part in meaningful tasks— not pretend ‘helping,’ but really doing something that helps out the whole family,” she added. “Playing together is fun, but even the cleanup can be fun if we do it together. There’s a sense of importance and belonging and being needed.” Jessa went on to explain that she doesn’t encourage her kids to help because it saves her time in effort — in fact, she claims the reverse is true: “Sometimes as a mom I have to pause and remember this,” she stated. “Yes, it may take 5x longer than if I did it myself, but they find it exciting to help out and lend a hand,” Jessa continued. “We definitely need to encourage this and not squelch the excitement. “My mom modeled this beautifully. ‘There’s a window of time where they’re eager to help. Capture it. Don’t squelch it.’” Must be quite an honor for Michelle Duggar to receive such a loving tribute from her daughter. Even casual fans of Eminem’s music are familiar with the intense domestic drama that’s defined much of the rapper’s life. Following a tumultuous childhood characterized by neglect and abuse, Em — whose real name is Marshall Mathers — entered a famously unhealthy marriage with Kim Scott. Marshall and Kim weren’t married for long, but their relationship had an indelible impact on the hip hop legend’s life. Not only did the former couple have a daughter together, Mathers adopted Kim’s niece, Alaina, as well as her daughter Whitney from another relationship. As one of the wealthiest recording artists on the planet, Em was able to provide a better life for Kim’s niece and daughter. But he was not able to insulate them entirely from the challenges presented by their unstable families. According to a report published Friday by Radar Online, Whitney’s father, Eric Hartter, has been sentenced to several months in prison on drug charges. The decision was handed down while Hartter was already behind bars on unrelated charges. Back in December, the 40-year-old was arrested for allegedly stealing about $200 worth of Red Bull from a CVS store. While serving time for that crime, Hartter was arrested a second time for possession of felony contraband, including Fentanyl and methamphetamine. This week, the judge in Hartter’s case sentenced him to 153 days in jail. Hartter was credited for time served following his previous arrest, but he must still serve at least two months behind bars. While he has never been one of Whitney’s primary caretakers, insiders say Hartter has maintained a relationship with his daughter, who is said to be devastated by her father’s never-ending legal issues. No one with ties to Whitney or Eminem has commented publicly on the case. News of Hartter’s sentence comes just weeks after another tragic development in the Mathers family. Eminem’s father, Marshall Bruce Mathers passed away after suffering a massive heart attack last month. The younger Mathers was not on speaking terms of his father at the time of his death, It appears that Eminem is doing his best to reverse the trend of absentee father figures within his extended family. Amber Portwood is facing A LOT of trouble with the law. She has been charged with three felonies after allegedly attacking boyfriend Andrew Glennon… while he was holding their one-year old son… and she did so with a machete. Yes, a machete . As a result, Portwood has plenty to worry about moving forward. Will she return to jail, after spending 17 months behind bars in 2013 for an attack against ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley? Will she lose custody of little James, now that Andrew has filed for custody ? Will she be fired from Teen Mom OG? There’s very recent precedent for the latter to happen, as Jenelle Evans (Amber’s long-time rival) was given the boot by MTV just this past spring after her kids were taken away by the state in the wake of her own domestic violence scandal. So while we must leave the answers to the first two questions above to the legal system, we’re at least well-versed enough in the celebrity gossip universe to try our hands at the third. And that’s what we’re doing below. And that’s not just my way of spouting what the kids like to call a “hot take.” Hear me out: By most accounts, Amber is a mean, angry, violent person whose worst qualities have only been exacerbated by her life of ease and wealth. The only reason I would argue she should not be fired is that I firmly believe the time has come for MTV executives to take an even bigger step and cancel the Teen Mom franchise entirely. Yes, the time has come to bid adieu to reality TV’s most problematic series. We suppose you could make a case that that title belongs to 90 Day Fiance , but we get the feeling that Colt and Larissa’s relationship would have been just as f-cked without the presence of a camera crew. In the case of Teen Mom, however, it seems that wealth and fame have had overwhelmingly negative impacts on the lives of the stars and, more importantly, their children. No one embodies this phenomenon more than the OG of the OGs, Amber Portwood. And, so, there’s no more appropriate time to pull the plug on the whole failed experiment. Sure, it’s somewhat unfair to the other Teen Moms, who would be indirectly punished for Amber’s indiscretions, but with the possible exception of Chelsea Houska, are any of their hands really clean at this point? These shows have been on so ridiculously long that just about every cast member has been caught in some sort of deeply regrettable behavior at one point or another. And one thing that’s certain to cause even further damage to the Moms’ battered reputations would be continued involvement in a show that supports perpetrators of domestic violence. Which is why we encourage them to join us in calling for an end to Teen Mom OG, Teen Mom 2, Teen Mom Unplugged, and every other iteration on MTV’s dream board. YES by Simon Delott We really just need to rundown the facts here. Andrew Glennon has accused Amber Portwood of domestic violence… but not just from the nightmare that (allegedly) went down on July 5. According to Amber’s long-time boyfriend, she’s hit him before. She’s threatened him before. She’s also threatened to hurt, or even kill herself, before. To make matters worse, in this latest case, this entire horror show went down in front of the couple’s one-year old baby. Amber was reportedly so intent upon abusing her partner that she was willing to risk her own child’s well-being. Just think about that for a moment. Let’s not forget that this is not Amber’s first violent rodeo, either; she previously served prison time for a domestic violence arrest against Gary Shirley. Apparently, somehow, that still wasn’t enough to deter her from an alleged attack against her most recent baby daddy. There is no excuse, ever, for striking a loved one or a member of your family. We won’t question Andrew’s motives for staying as long as he did, but we’d encourage anyone who is hit by a partner — even once — to get out of that relationship as quickly and efficiently as possible. But back to this question: No, she shouldn’t appear on our screens any longer. She probably shouldn’t be allowed to care for her son again for a very long time again, either. YES by Hilton Hater It’s one thing to glorify the life of a teenage mother. This was the reason why the entire franchise came under fire early on, as many critics reacted in shock and horror to a show that gave a platform (and lots of money) to young women who had simply gotten pregnant by accident. Yes, a child is a blessing and all that stuff. And, no, I’m not here to shame any teenage mother. But almost no 16-year old is equipped for parenthood, the argument has gone, and a program such as Teen Mom runs the danger of making this situation almost attractive , promising fame and fortune to those who get pregnant at such a young age. However, we now have reality shows that glorify quickie weddings and engagements; that glorify drinking and arguing and fighting and being really rich and narcissistic and filming yourself having sex with Ray J and being overweight — and one needs to basically push for the elimination of reality television as a genre if one wants to eliminate Teen Mom from the fold. That may be an interesting question to ponder for some other time. For now, though, we’re just here to talk about Amber Portwood and this seems like a really obvious one. Like we said at the outset: It’s one thing to glorify the life of a teenage mother. It’s another thing to glorify the life of a (former) teenage mother with admitted mental health issues who is prone to violence, even in the wake of her young child. I wish Amber the best and I hope she receives the help she very clearly needs. But I hope she gets it without any cameras around.
We have an update on the troubling Amber Portwood situation. As you very likely know by now, the Teen Mom OG star was arrested early in the morning of July 5 after she allegedly attacked Andrew Glennon. Making matters even more troubling and worrisome? Glennon was holding the couple's one-year old son, James, in his hands at the time. Pretty scary stuff all around, as Amber was booked on a FELONY charge of domestic violence. For the latest on what is going on with Portwood, along with what she allegedly did to Glennon, scroll down and click around… 1. What Do We Know About This Arrest? Portwood was taken into custody by Indiana police around 6 a.m. last Friday. 2. Did She Really Assault Glennon? Yes. According to the official police report, Andrew sent a text message to 911 at 2:14 a.m. that read simply “I need help. My life and my son’s life is in danger.” 3. What Happened, Exactly? This is what we’ve now learned. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Ryan Salisbury is on record as saying an argument between Amber and Andrew commenced around 2 a.m. 4. This is What Amber is Accused of Doing: “Ms. Portwood grew increasingly agitated until she struck him with her shoe in the right side of his neck,” Salisbury wrote in the court document. 5. She Hit Andrew with a Shoe?!? Correct. And it sounds as if Portwood has confirmed this allegation as well. 6. Portwood Reportedly Admitted This “Ms. Portwood stated that she did indeed strike (her boyfriend) with a shoe,” Salisbury also wrote, adding: “But stated that ‘it was in the shoulder and I barely hit him.'” View Slideshow

But the iconic singer has now opened way up to Cosmopolitan and revealed the exact number of men with whom she has been involved. In a biblical sense. By which we mean the following: Carey has told the world just how many sexual partners she’d had in her life. And while there is no right or wrong answer to this question, of course, Mariah’s response is garnering national attention for two seasons: 1. How many celebrities have just come right out and revealed this information to the public?!? 2. For someone who looks like Mariah Carey and for someone as rich and famous as Mariah Carey… the answer is surprisingly low. “I haven’t had that many, but there has been a variety pack,” Carey said at the outset of her response to this question, prior to just spitting out the figure: “I’ve only been with five people in my life, so I’m kind of a prude, honestly, compared to most others in the field.” (Notice the not-so-subtle shade she hurled here at other pop stars? All bow down before this Queen Diva, folks. Seriously: Do it!) Carey is currently dating herf ormer backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka. So there’s one person, if we safely assume the two have engaged in sexual intercourse. Carey as also married back in the 1990s to Sony Music mogul Tommy Mottola — and she has twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon, meaning they fornicated on at least one occasion. We’re as sure as a celebrity gossip website can be that Carey also dated Derek Jeter awhile ago as well, which leaves just one open spot spot in her bedroom boinking list. We’d say it’s none of our business to think about such a personal topic, but hey: Mariah is the one who brought it up! (UPDATE: Carey was also engaged to James Packer ! There you go! There’s the five!) Tanaka is much younger than Mariah — but Mottola was significantly older, which is likely what prompted the singer to remark on the “variety” of men that have seen her in her birthday suit while she either writhed around on top of them or spread her legs for them via the missionary position. “You might want to picture a child bride,” she told Cosmo of her first marriage, adding: “There was a conscious effort to keep me as this all-American, whatever that means, girl. It was very controlled. “There was no freedom for me as a human being. It was almost like being a prisoner.” Yikes . Elsewhere, along with sort of slut-shaming other artists in her industry, Carey detailed all the obstacles she had to overcome in order to make it huge. “They have no idea what I went through as a child to even get to be an 18-year-old girl with a record deal,” she explains. “This was before you could just go on YouTube and sing.” She continued: “A lot of artists say they write, but they don’t really write. No offense to anybody. That’s just what I’ve seen.”
