Lamar Odom Suffered Multiple Strokes, MRI Reveals

Last night, Lamar Odom was found unconscious in his suite at the famous Love Ranch brothel in Pahrump, Nevada. When workers and Love Ranch proprietor Dennis Hof attempted to revive Odom, he reportedly vomited and remained unresponsive. We learned moments ago that Odom overdosed on drugs and may have suffered permanent brain damage. Now, TMZ is reporting that an MRI has revealed Odom suffered multiple strokes before he arrived at the hospital. This is terrible news, as it means that even if the 35-year-old former NBA star emerges from his coma, he’ll almost certainly suffer severe impairments in his ability to walk, talk and perform other basic functions. The Reverend Jesse Jackson visited Odom today, and bizarrely, he claimed that Odom was showing “signs of responsiveness.” Hospital sources say that is most definitely not the case and reiterate that Odom has shown no signs of improvement since being airlifted to the ER last night. Jackson also claims to have spent upwards of 30 minutes with Odom, but again insiders say he is mistaken. Per hospital policy, Jackson was admitted to Odom’s room for about three minutes to pray with him. Sadly, it now looks as though the hospital is being turned into a media circus, as reporters and celebrities offer conflicting accounts of what could be Lamar’s final moments. Hayden Panettiere Enters Treatment for Postpartum Depression

Back in December Hayden Panettiere welcomed a baby girl . It was the first child for both Hayden and her boxer fiance, Wladimir Klitschko, and the couple gushed with pride as they shared the first photos of baby Kaya .  Unfortunately, it now seems that Hayden;s well-publicized struggles with postpartum depression have shown no sign of relenting, and sources confirm she recently decided to check into an in-patient therapy center to receive treatment. “Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression,” says a statement issued by reps for the actress. “She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time.” Hayden has been remarkably candid about the emotional difficulties she endured in the months following her daughter’s birth: “You don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on,” Hayden said during a recent appearance on Live! With Kelly & Michael. “It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.” In recent weeks, it looked as though Panetierre was beginning to overcome her depression, as she frequently posted upbeat tweets, such as, “I feel like I’m finally coming into my own body!” Sadly, as anyone who’s life has been touched by depression knows, and upswing can be followed by an abrupt downturn. Interestingly, Hayden’s character on the ABC series Nashville also suffers from postpartum depression. Calvin Harris Threatens to Sue Over Hand Job Allegations

Calvin Harris would like to make something very clear: He did not receive any hand jobs from any massage parlors and anyone who says anything to the contrary may want to go out and hire a lawyer. Earlier this week, Radar Online spread the rumor that Taylor Swift dumped Harris because the DJ was spotted leaving an establishment known for providing its clients with “happy endings.” (No, we’re not referring to copies of the canceled ABC sitcom.) But just as fans were starting to sympathize with poor Taylor and lament yet another failed romantic entanglement, Harris jumped on Twitter and wrote the following last night: “It’s not going to be a ‘happy ending’ for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bullshit stories bye bye.” Nice. Well played, Calvin, both for the definitive denial and also for the perfectly-placed pun. It certainly does seem like a stretch to believe that Calvin Harris would risk his relationship with Swift just to receive some manual pleasure from a stranger. Although Harry Styles supposedly split with the artist in 2013 because Swift was too prude . Prior to Calvin’s threat, though, Swift’s rep came out with a simple statement of his own, telling the world: “I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again, do not believe Radar Online.” Sounds like someone has some bad blood with Radar Online, eh? Josh Duggar Molestation Scandal: Headed to Law & Order SVU

If you’re a fan of the insanely long-running Law & Order franchise, you know that producers like to explore recent scandals in topical “ripped from the headlines” episodes. So we suppose it was only a matter of time before the Josh Duggar molestation scandal  made its way into the writers’ room. In an episode set to air next month, the detectives of SVU will investigate the parents of a religiously conservative reality TV family – after their 13-year-old daughter winds up pregnant. While the show never goes easy on its “especially heinous” criminals, if comments made by series regular Peter Scanavino are any indication, the Duggars will be portrayed in a particularly harsh light: “With the Duggar one, it was like the double-whammy because it was his sisters and the fact — I mean, honestly, I feel like we’re dealing with some topics this season that feel a bit meatier than some lunatic fringe family,” Scanavino said in a recent interview. “I have never been so infuriated with someone’s level of hypocrisy, and lying, and then displacement of responsibility onto something else…When I think about that guy, it boils my blood, I will say.” Hopefully Josh’s rehab facility doesn’t have TV. Jenelle Evans: Refusing Meds for Head Injury, Worried She’ll Get Addicted, Source Claims

Last week, we reported that Jenelle Evans suffered a head injury when she fell in her driveway after returning home from a night out. Given Jenelle’s history of drug addiction , many fans were concerned that the Teen Mom star’s fall was the result of a relapse. Fortunately, it seems that Jenelle is still committed to staying sober. In fact, Radar Online is reporting that Jenelle has refused any prescription pain medications for fear that she’ll get hooked. “Jenelle is in pain and taking Tylenol for it,” says one insider. “She didn’t get any medicines and didn’t want any.” “She still can’t open her jaw all the way to eat,” the source says. “Jenelle feels like she broke her jaw and she also still has stitches in. It’s all scabbed up now.” The source adds that Jenelle fell to her knees before her face hit the pavement. “The bruise on her knee is horrible,” the insider says. “It covers her entire knee.” The source adds that Jenelle is in rough shape, but she’s healing on schedule. Apparently, one bright spot throughout the ordeal has been Jenelle’s new boyfriend, David Eason . “He’s a huge help,” the source says of Eason. “He cleans and cooks — even after working all day.” Yes, Jenelle Evans is in a stable relationship and turning down drugs. We guess people can change!

Selena Gomez single, and, apparently, she doesn’t want to mingle. The former girlfriend of Justin Bieber isn’t interested in dating.  And she even sent a message to any interested guys to back the f–k up. Ok, she only said don’t try “to date her right now.”  But we think that was just a polite was of telling the Beebs (and everyone else) to eff off.  Recently, Selena said she would never use Tinder .  And we just assumed that she didn’t want to resort to a shady hook-up app to meet someone.   But it looks like she isn’t interested in meeting anyone at all. In a recent interview, the singer blatantly stated that she is not interested in dating at all right now.  This isn’t the first time Selena has mentioned that she doesn’t want to date.  In an interview with Flare, she mentioned that dating is “not my focus.” “I’m really stoked about being with myself right now.” Selena admitted on Ellen DeGeneres’ show that she has been occasionally going on dates.  But she doesn’t seem to be enjoying it much. “I’ve been dating. It’s very fun. Ish,” she said. So it looks like all those rumors of Selena and Justin Bieber getting back together  aren’t true after all.  Not surprised.
