It also scored a 5.2 rating among the key advertising demographic of 18-49-year olds, which marks a 400 percent increase over the last new episode of 20/20. The fascinating Q&A featured a number of candid admission from Jenner, foremost among them: He believes he has the “soul” of a woman. It is very possible he gets sexual reassignment surgery down the line (he needs a “va-jay-jay,” as he said Khloe Kardashian would explain it). Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian both saw him wearing women’s clothing at various points in the past. He has been taking hormones for the past 18 months. He will soon leave the spotlight and re-emerge as a female, replete with a different name (which he did not want to make public last night). Last week, Kim Richards was arrested when she got drunk and kicked a cop at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Naturally, Kim was invited to be on Dr. Phil so that the mustachioed quack could pull one of his surprise interventions. (We feel like he stole the idea from an A&E reality show, but we can’t think of the name right now.) The episode hasn’t aired yet, but sources reported yesterday that Kim refused to go to rehab . No one was really surprised by that , but as more stories from the set are emerging, it seems that Kim engaged in plenty of behavior that shocked not only Phil, but also her kids, Chad and Brooke, who joined her for the interview. One witness claims that Kim “screamed obscenities” at Phil before ripping off her mic and storming out of the interview. “Is this an intervention? You can forget this whole thing,” Kim reportedly ranted as she stormed out the building. “I’m not going down there, I’m not going for three months, and I’m not going to miss your wedding,” she said, referring to the fact that Brooke is soon to be married. Apparently, Kim’s kids were eventually able to calm her down, but she still refused to seek treatment. The best Phil and company could get out of her was an agreement to “consider” rehab after she consults with her doctor and “life coach.” Kim has reportedly given Phil’s producers a list of demands that must be met before she’ll consider accepting the treatment that they’re willing to offer her for free ! Farrah Abraham says her long-awaited return to Teen Mom: OG, which we’ll see in just a few hours marks an emotional and exciting chapter in her life. She also says it’s time to close the book on the MTV franchise after this season. The controversial 23-year-old reality star, sex tape star and author previewed tonight’s episode and beyond with The Hollywood Gossip this week. What did we learn from Farrah Abraham ? You might be surprised … Those of us who saw the explosive, already-infamous Teen Mom sneak peek of her freaking out know that we’re in for a wild ride beginning this evening. What made her so upset, though? Was it frustration with producers about being cut loose from the show, then asked back, as many have speculated? Not entirely. “I know due to editing a comment by my father Michael was left out,” she says, adding that this combined with other factors, leading to her “tears of frustration.” Farrah also says reports of the Teen Mom cast being upset by her return are misguided … mostly. One co-star in particular has been hating, and hard. “Amber did not care and found it odd I was not apart of the show,” she says, while “Catelynn was persuaded by Maci to view my coming back as negative.” This struck Farrah as bizarre, given that Catelynn Lowell, with whom she had mended fences, and fiance Tyler Baltierra “seemed excited on their own at first.” Maci Bookout, according to Farrah, “did her best to have a negative outlook on me coming back as you will see through the season their ending responses.” Abraham’s thoughts on the rebooted franchise in general are mixed. “I feel like there is a Time and place for Teen Mom OG,” which she says will show fans the “true story” of how these young women have come of age. Country music superstar Tim McGraw will headline July concert to benefit Sandy Hook Promise, a group that seeks to protect children from gun violence. Surprisingly, or perhaps not, this announcement resulted in serious backlash from gun advocates calling McGraw a hypocrite and a whole lot worse. Among the critics was fellow country music star Travis Tritt, who tweeted his disdain for McGraw’s concert, and he was far from alone in that sentiment. The blog Bearing Arms, for its part, reported the story with the headline “Tim McGraw Poised to Dixie Chick Himself With Gun Control Benefit Concert.” McGraw “seems poised to make a similar, potentially career-ending move,” the blog argued, referencing the Dixie Chicks’ Iraq War controversy of 2003. Lead singer Natalie Maines unabashedly slammed President George W. Bush over that military initiative, and the group’s popularity slowly declined. Coincidence? Natural progression of a pop country girl group peaking around then anyway? Perhaps, but many have linked McGraw’s and Maines’ comments. Meanwhile, McGraw responded that he supports gun ownership, but added, “I also believe that with gun ownership comes the responsibility of education and safety.” Most certainly, the 47-year-old husband of Faith Hill said, “when it relates to what we value most, our children … I can’t imagine anyone who disagrees with that.” In his announcement, McGraw said, “Out of this tragedy a group was formed that made a promise to honor the lives lost and turn it into a moment of transformation.” “Sandy Hook Promise teaches that we can do something to protect our children from gun violence. Writing on his Facebook page, Currington said he would donate to a local organization, but “I’ve never been one to take on controversial issues – I’m a singer.” The Sandy Hook Promise group formed to honor the 20 children and six staff members gunned down in an elementary school in December 2012. Adam Lanza , 20 entered the Newtown, Conn., school and went on a rampage. He also killed his mother prior to the attack and committed suicide afterward. The incident is the deadliest school shooting in the U.S., yet little or no action was taken on the federal government level amid pressure from gun advocates. The college has added “Game of Thrones, Television and Medieval History” to its curriculum, describing the course as some kind of actual history lesson. Martin, are a terrific representation of the Middle Ages. “It represents aspects of the Middle Ages much more realistically than other media depictions that purport to be more accurate,” she said, adding: “It stands out because it comments on the human condition in a way that seems real to people. It’s a really good example of a piece of modern culture that draws on how the past impacts the present.” Game of Thrones Season 5 premiered last Sunday night on HBO to record ratings; nearly 8 million people tuned in to see Mance Rayder get burned at the stake. Michael Buble hit a sour note on Instagram yesterday. The singer was on vacation in Miami with his wife when the couple spotted a woman rocking some SERIOUSLY short shorts. We’re talking exposed bottom butt cheeks and everything. So Buble snapped a picture with the lady in the background, shared it online and wrote as a caption: “There was something about this photo lu took ,that seemed worthy of instagram. #myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #onlyinmiami #picoftheday #beautifulbum.” Funny? Foul? Most of the Internet went with the latter. Facing accusations of sexism and being referred to as “disgusting” by quite a few Instagram users, Buble went on Facebook today and issued a statement. “Anyone who knows me would never misinterpret the message of the photo my wife took in Miami that seems to have caused unexpected rage by some people.” Buble wrote. “I do not court controversy. But I realize that a photo that was meant to be complimentary and lighthearted has turned into a questionable issue. For the record, it hurts me deeply that anyone would think that I would disrespect women or be insulting to any human being.” The artist went on to say that he regrets if anyone found the picture “offensive” because that wasn’t his intention, concluding: “Women are to be celebrated, loved, respected, honored and revered.
