Spelling Bee Judge Quotes Kelis’ "Milkshake" For No Reason, Moves on to Describe Unrelated Word

One of the judges at the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which aired last night on ESPN, is apparently a huge fan of rapper Kelis and/or milkshakes. He randomly quoted her classic track when asked to use a word in a sentence … while not using the word in question. It was pretty outstanding: Spelling Bee Judge LOVES Kelis, Quotes Milkshake The judge, Dr. Jacques Bailly (1980 National Spelling Bee champion!) was supposed to be using “feijoada” in a sentence, by request from the finalist. Instead, he BROKE IT DOWN, saying “While Tabitha discovered that her milkshake brought all the boys to the yard …” and then cut himself off. Cue the confused, awkward quasi-laughter. The contestant went on to spell the word, which apparently is a Brazilian stew, correctly before the big event ran out of words and ended in a tie . Kelis was reportedly too busy bringing the boys to the yard and determining if she has to charge for her serves to be reached for comment at press time. Kris Jenner: My Cash Cow Will Remain Kim Kardashian!

Kim Kardashian has changed her name to Kim Kardashian West . Her screen name, that is. The reality star has added the last name of husband Kanye West to her Twitter account and her Instagram page, which, granted, is a mighty big move for this online maven. But an insider confirms to Radar Online that Kim won’t be making the biggest move of all: she’ll legally remain Kim Kardashian forever… because her mother wouldn’t have it any other way. Say Hello to Kim Kardashian West! “There is no way Kris would ever give her blessing for the main cash cow of the Kardashian empire to not continue to use that name professionally,” a source says, adding that Jenner will “fight tooth and nail” if Kim resists this demand. It makes sense, really. The family probably still gets royalties off the Kim Kardashian sex tape and Kris doesn’t want to confuse those who search for her naked, spread eagle daughter in the future. This insider even jokes that Kris would try to convince Kanye to change his last name to Kardashian if she thought it were possible. Just think of how that would help the TV/perfume/clothing/sex tape/diet pill/whatever-is-offered-to-them-for-the-right-price empire! Kim and Kanye, of course, got married in Florence last Saturday. They then took off for a honeymoon in Ireland and no family members have really spoken publicly about the affair since. Because this Kim Kardashian wedding report – which details the embarrassing chaos that was the entire ridiculous affair – has left them humiliated? 50 Cent on First Pitch Fail: It Slipped!

Earlier this week,  50 Cent threw out the worst first pitch in Major League Baseball history. This is a photogenic fact . Asked to explain what the HECK happened during an appearance on Good Morning America today, the rapper swore such an incomprehensibly poor toss was not a publicity stunt. “It slipped! It slipped out of my hand,” the 38-year-old said. “I’m not a professional pitcher, I make music.” 50 Cent First Pitch Fail Fiddy said the pitch has became so notorious so quickly that the police even pulled him over just to talk about it. “I was a little nervous when he pulled me over,” the artist said. “I was, like, ‘Oh no, what did I do?’ and then he said, ‘You know that pitch was terrible.” It really was. 50 Cent took to Twitter soon after and exclaimed: “I’m a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO…The sh!t almost hit the camera man damn, if you look close you can see them moving the plate.” Sorry, Fiddy. But we never wanna see this pitch ever again. Look below. Louis Tomlinson Thanks Fans for Support; Where’s the Apology?

In the wake of his worst scandal to date, Louis Tomlinson has come out and thanked his fans for their support. Tomlinson and One Direction mate Zayn Malik were filmed smoking pot in a video that leaked online this week, while audio appears to catch them making racial and homophobic slurs as well. “Massive love to all our fans!! So incredibly supportive! Loveeeee,” Tomlinson Tweeted yesterday. But that response isn’t satisfactory to some. Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik Pot Smoking Video: How Did It Leak? Many don’t seem to care about the marijuana use (it’s not exactly unusual in the young pop music scene; heck, Miley Cyrus openly loves weed), but Tomlinson said the N-word and used “gay” in a negative context. 50 Cent First Pitch: Officially the Worst of All-Time!

Many things in life may be subjective. Is the Kim Kardashian sex tape better than the Kendra Wilkinson sex tape? Was Tupac a better rapper than Biggie? Should Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik apologize for smoking pot and insulting African-Americans? We could debate those topics forever. But, thanks to the magic of the Internet, we now have conclusive evidence about another pressing pop culture issue: the infamous 50 Cent first pitch tossed by the rapper prior to a Mets game this week. As you can see, it was rather abysmal: 50 Cent First Pitch Fail But was it the worst ceremonial first pitch ever thrown by a celebrity? In a word: YES! The good folks at The Washington Post have put together a graphic that tracks the locations of nearly every memorable first pitch ever. Snoop Dogg can apparently bring it. Kate Plus 8 Sneak Peek: Sextuplets Turn 10! Twins Turn 13!

As previously reported, TLC is bringing back Kate Plus 8 for a two-part special, which will premiere on the network June 19 and conclude on June 26. Please, everyone, try not to rush to DVR it all at the same time. Kate Plus 8 Clip – We’re Back! Yes, in addition to her summer stint on Celebrity Apprentice, Kate Gosselin is returning to the show that made her infamous, along with her brood. So, what has the Gosselin clan been up to since TLC canceled Kate Plus 8 more than two years ago after a firestorm of drama that would not cease? Just living, basically. And getting iPads. Kate and her eight – twins Mady and Cara, 13, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel, 10 – are a lot older than we last saw. Funny how that works. The special focuses on bringing viewers up to date on all of the Gosselins, how the kids have grown and what the latest is on Kate’s life and career. Viewers will also be “invited” to the sextuplets big 10th birthday, for which Kate plans a super fun carnival-themed bash to celebrate the double-digit mark. Noticeably absent? Jon Gosselin , who is said to be “outraged” by Kate’s return to TLC and hopeful that no one will tune in to watch the special. He also fired a warning shot at a photographer recently and said last season on VH1’s Couples Therapy that Kate can go f–king die for all he cares. Good parenting. Kendall Jenner Makes Vogue Paris Debut

Kendall Jenner actually keeps her clothes on in the following picture. But she does not look happy about it. The 18-year old, who rarely goes a day without posing inappropriately in some fashion on Instagram, will be featured in the June/July issue of Paris Vogue, but Kris Jenner couldn’t wait for readers to see this spread on the newsstand. “PARIS VOGUE June/July 2014 Wow @kendalljenner stunning!! Congratulations!! #proudmama,” she wrote as a caption to the following online photo today. Patrick Demarchelier photographed the magazine images, while Katie Grand styled the subjects. Kendall, of course, also took part in a W Magazine shoot this March and walked the runway during the Marc Jacobs fashion show in New York. Remember the latter incident? The one where Kendall exposed her nipples on stage? Jenner really does seem to be making her way up in the fashion industry, meaning she’ll hopefully be able to stay famous without banging anyone on camera. Justin Bieber is currently sleeping his way through half the western hemisphere. According to recent reports, the singer has slept with Barbara Palvin … Yovanna Ventura … and Adriana Lima . All within the past few weeks. But In Touch Weekly claims Selena Gomez is taking the opposite approach from her ex-boyfriend, vowing to keep her legs crossed until she walks down the aisle some day down the line. “Selena has told friends she’s completely swearing off men until she’s married. She wants to be a born-again virgin,” an anonymous friend tells the tabloid. This claim might be plausible… if the story didn’t also allege Gomez has “renewed her devotion” to the Lord following that ridiculous, inappropriate Selena Gomez miscarriage report. Still, if Selena has “swapped drinking and partying for all things Jesus,” as In Touch Weekly concludes, hey, more power to you.
