Courtland Rogers: Arrested For Felony Larceny!

Jenelle Evans’ estranged husband Courtland Rogers is back behind bars at the Brunswick County (N.C.) Jail after being arrested for felony larceny. The 28-year-old heroin addict was booked at 5:39 p.m. on March 30 and charged with a misdemeanor count for failure to appear and felony larceny. The charges stem from an outstanding warrant for stealing and pawning jewelry, valued at over $1,000, from a friend he was crashing with recently. Katie McMillan filed a theft report with the Wrightsville Beach police. Her family rings were found at a local pawn shop and quickly connected to Rogers. Jenelle Evans ‘ husband allegedly used his real ID to pawn the items. “Jenelle figured he would be back in jail soon,” a source close to her said. “She knows Courtland can’t get his s–t together and it was only a matter of time.  The Teen Mom 2 star, who is pregnant with her second child, is “glad she isn’t with him anymore and wants to end their marriage as soon as she can.” She ended her last pregnancy – with Rogers – as soon as she could. According to the new court documents, there is a $2,000 bond for Rogers’ misdemeanor charge and a $10,000 bond for the felony larceny charge . Guy could be locked up for a long time at this point, we’re thinking. For Courtland Rogers , it’s the latest in a string of bad, bad news. McMillan said: “He told me if he got charged with one more felony, he would get an automatic 20 years in prison and be considered a ‘habitual felon.’” That would sum it up, especially if he knows it and can’t stop. Frankie Knuckles Dies; DJ, House Music Pioneer Was 59

Frankie Knuckles DJ and house music pioneer, died Monday. He was 59. The “godfather,” a Chicago resident, “died unexpectedly” at home, his longtime business partner Frederick Dunson confirmed to the Chicago Tribune . Bronx-born Frankie Warren Knuckles Jr. (yup, his real name) honed his DJ skills in NYC, moving to Chicago in the late ’70s as the disco scene was dying. Along with a group of house music innovators, the young Knuckles went on to become a cult hero overseas in Europe’s rave-oriented club scene. Also a producer, Knuckles went on to work with some of music’s biggest stars, including Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Depeche Mode, and Diana Ross. Morales, along with Knuckles’ successors, mourned his passing Monday. “I am devastated to write that my dear friend Frankie Knuckles has passed away today,” he wrote. “Can’t write anymore than this at the moment. I’m sorry.” Chicago DJ Vince Lawrence wrote on his Facebook page, in memoriam: “A legend has fallen. All hail Frankie Knuckles an inspiration to us all.” Knuckles once told the Tribune in an interview why he championed house music . He felt as if the dance floor was a “safe haven” for all communities. “God has a place on the dance floor,” he said. “We wouldn’t have all the things we have if it wasn’t for God. Willie Robertson, Duck Dynasty Star, Defends Phil Robertson GQ Interview

Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson’s anti-gay comments drew the ire of many last year, but son Willie Robertson is quick to defend his father. Willie and his wife, Korie, sat down with CNN last week to talk about the controversial statements Phil Robertson made to GQ about modern immorality. Willie and Korie Robertson CNN Interview The 67-year-old Duck Commander founder had pondered in the magazine’s January issue how “a man’s anus” could be more desirable than a vagina. He also likened gay sex to a sin comparable to bestiality and paraphrased 1 Corinthians, which lists those who will not inherit the kingdom of God. “I believe what the Bible says,” Willie Robertson said. “That’s what he says to put those in. Now, you have to read the Bible and make up your own mind.” “You have to decide and God will ultimately decide that.” “We don’t profess to be God and we certainly don’t profess to be perfect,” he went on, “because we have our own sins we deal with.” Willie was quick to add that his father may be crude, coarse and outspoken, but that doesn’t mean he meant any disrespect or to encourage hate. “Anybody who knows him – any gay, straight, black, white – anybody who knows Phil knows that [his message] is about love,” Willie’s wife Korie added. “God’s love, and God’s grace, and God’s forgiveness, ultimately.” Aside from A&E, Willie and Korie Robertson are currently featured in the Christian indie film “God’s Not Dead.” In a behind-the-scenes interview, he says: “I think we should use any type of media we can to get the message of the Lord out,” adding that their A&E show helps them “get Christ out there.” The fifth season of the show ( watch Duck Dynasty online via TV Fanatic) just wrapped, and ratings have definitely slipped, but the family is not worried. “We are able to use that platform, and if it ended right there, it ended right there,” Willie said . “I felt like that was pretty much what God prepared us to do.” Duck Dynasty Stars Without Beards! Hugh Jackman Sings Wolverine: The Musical!

Hugh Jackman has a background in theater, and an even more extensive background playing Wolverine. So naturally, the Aussie action star is the perfect fit for a fake musical about everyone’s favorite X-Man. Hugh Jackman: Wolverine: The Musical! Wolverine: The Musical made its brief debut during a recent interview Jackman gave to BBC radio, and if Broadway is looking for a way to get more dudes in the audience, they’ve found it! In a song set to the tune of “One More Day” from Les Miserables , Jackman crooned about his ripped physique (“I gave up junk food that I know, I made that bargain long ago”) and, of course, works in a plug for his upcoming flick (“I play the X-man, yes it’s quite a task, in X-Men: Days of Future Past”). Sadly, the two minute clip above is the all that exists of this glorious fake musical, but with any luck, it’ll go super-viral and get theater producers to take notice. Hey, if Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark made it to Broadway, surely Marvel’s band of mutants deserves a shot as well. In the meantime, we’ll just have to content ourselves with X-Men: Days of Future Past. The latest installment in the mega-popular franchise is set to hit movie theaters on May 23.

Michelle Rodriguez and Cara Delevigne have been in a relationship since January and it seems things are still heating up between the two, if photos from their recent Mexican vacay are any indication. Piers Morgan Signs Off from CNN, Makes Final Gun Control Plea

Piers Morgan concluded his final broadcast of Piers Morgan Live on Friday by addressing a topic that has become synonymous with this British TV personality: Gun control. The anchor famously went off on a pro-gun panel after a Naval Yard shooting in September. And, even more famously following the tragedy in Newtown in December 2012, asked ” how many more kids have to die ?” before America adopts similar gun laws to those of other first world nations. Here’s a look at what Morgan had to say to wrap up his show last night: Piers Morgan Gun Control Plea And for those who are more visual, here is a transcript of the highlights: I assumed that after 70 people were shot in a movie theater, and then, just a few months later, 20 first-graders were murdered with an assault rifle in an elementary school, the absurd gun laws in this country would change. But nothing has happened. The gun lobby in America, led by the NRA, has bullied this nation’s politicians into cowardly, supine silence. Even when 20 young children are blown away in their classrooms.This is a shameful situation that has made me very angry. So angry, in fact, that some people have criticized me for being too loud, opinionated, even rude when I have debated the issue of guns. But I make no apologies for that. As Sir Winston Churchill said: ‘If you have an important point to make, don’t try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time – a tremendous whack.’ My point is simple: More guns doesn’t mean less crime, as the NRA repeatedly says. It means more gun violence, death and profits for the gun manufacturers. And to those who claim my gun control campaigning has been “anti-American,” the reverse is true. I am so pro-American that I want more of you to stay alive. But I’ve made my point. I’ve given it a tremendous whack. Now it’s down to you. It’s your country; these are your gun laws. And the senseless slaughter will only end when enough Americans stand together and cry: Enough! Do you agree with Morgan? Disagree? Lindsay Lohan Talks Sex List, Gets Dissed on Ellen

The alleged Lindsay Lohan sex list was among many topics discussed when the troubled star sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for an interview airing Monday. On more than one occasion, the talk show how appeared to light-heartedly throw shade on LiLo, beginning when they discussed her past appearances.
