Celebrities love plastic surgery. Although in many cases, they probably should have just loved their original appearance more before they got work done. There are always exceptions, and some stars certainly go more overboard than others. Not everyone is Heidi Montag (thankfully). But by and large? Plastic is not as fantastic as it seems, people. Desiring to appear younger, hotter or tighter – whatever you want to call it – is human nature. Getting surgery to make you look like a wax figure of yourself? Not so much. Not so much at all. Watch their throne! Beyonce and Jay Z’s love (and careers) are officially on top. The dynamic duo hold the number one spot on Billboard’s 2014 Power 100 list.  Are you shocked? Probably not.  The reigning king and queen of music accomplished a whole lot this year. Beyonce changed the game with an epic surprise album , while her hubby Jay Z lead in award nods for this Sunday’s Grammys. No biggie, right? The powerful pair beat out heavyweights like Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell for their new Billboard title, but we think they are move than deserving of the honor. Do you? Eva Mendes isn’t one to gab about her love life and we don’t expect her to change any time soon, despite the rumors swirling regarding the topic. In a recent interview for Violet Grey, the 39-year-old stunner avoided any attempts to get her to open up about her relationship with Ryan Gosling. When asked where she would like to die, Eva revealed: “In a bowl of penne arrabiata… or what about Disneyland, isn’t that the happiest place on earth?” Her interview kindly disagreed, saying, “I think the happiest place on earth is in the arms of Ryan Gosling.” Eva responded… with a laugh.  According to reports, this gorgeous couple is on a break for the time being, with her jealousy issues believed to be the primary cause of the tumult. Their possible breakup of course brings hope to the many Notebook fans out there filled with hope for a Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams reunion . Could the McGosling rumors be true? Or just a pipe dream? Sigh. Oh, how we long for the simple pleasures of 2005!

Justin Bieber Released from Jail: See the Footage, Hear the Screams

Justin Bieber is out of jail and riding high. The singer, who was arrested on a variety of charges this morning (DUI, driving with an expired license, resisting arrested) made his $2,500 bail this afternoon and was released from a Miami jail. He received raucous cheers and applause on his way out, as you can see/hear in this video, which includes footage of Bieber sitting on top of a black SUV: Justin Bieber Leaves Jail, Sits on Top of SUV Bieber looked to be in good spirits upon exiting the facility, which is a major change for how he appeared in court this morning during an embarrassing bail hearing . Celebrities have been piling on Bieber all day (Seth Rogen says he’s a “piece of sh-t”), while fans have been reading the official account of what went down around 4 a.m. According to police records, Justin was pulled over for drag racing while going about 20 miles an hour over the speed limit and while sitting next to model Chantel Jeffries . “What the f-ck did I do? Why did you stop me?” Justin asked cops when they approached his vehicle. At a press conference a few hours later, Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez said Bieber was “not cooperating with the officer’s instructions,” citing as an example the artist’s refusal to place his hands on the car. “At first, he was a little belligerent, using some choice words questioning why he was being stopped and why the officer was even questioning him,” Martinez said. Justin reportedly took issue with being searched (“I ain’t got no f-cking weapons,” the arresting officer quoted Bieber as saying.) and “made some statements that he had consumed some alcohol, and that he had been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication,” according to Martinez. A TMZ report alleges Bieber told authorities the medication including Xanax and that his mother supplied him with the pills. The arrest report (above) describes Bieber as having a “flushed face, bloodshot eyes, and the odor of alcohol on his breath.” He registered .04 on a field sobriety test and will likely have his license suspended. So there’s some good news to come out of this, at least. For those in Bieber’s neighborhood at least. But this arrest is the culmination of a scandalous couple weeks for Bieber. He’s under investigation for pelting his neighbor’s home with eggs … was seen urinating his initials in the snow… and shelled out 75K at a Miami strip club. Justin wrote on Instagram a couple days ago that he ain’t worried about nothin … but perhaps it’s time for him to start worrying about many, many things.

Star Wars Scoop: Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill & Carrie Fisher Due on Set Soon!

The “Big Three” of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are due on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII soon, the latter revealed in an interview. Promoting her appearance on The Big Bang Theory, Fisher confirmed as much, saying that the trio is expected on set sometime in “March or April.” While it’s long been rumored that Luke, Leia and Han would return in Star Wars: Episode VII , Carrie Fisher’s confirmation is as concrete as anything so far. It’s also the closest thing we’ve had to a production schedule. As for Fisher would like for her character? “I’d like to wear my old (cinnamon buns) hairstyle again – but with white hair,” she said. “I think that would be funny.” How involved the iconic characters will be in this trilogy remains to be seen. Some have suggested they may be more Obi-Wan type characters in advisory roles. Others have suggested that one (Han feels like the logical pick) or perhaps more will meet their demise, with their children seeking justice against the dark forces. Soulja Boy: Arrested For Gun Possession!

Soulja Boy was arrested this morning for possession of a loaded weapon, according to reports. He was hauled off to jail and booked on a felony charge. The 23-year-old rapper was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley for running a stop sign early Wednesday a.m. Crank that? During the stop, police say they noticed that he was in possession of a loaded gun, which he presumably did not have legal documentation to be packing. Soulja has a history of similar run-ins with the law. If you recall, he was busted with cash, weed and guns in a briefcase during a traffic stop in 2011. Not a small amount of cash, either. ‘Cause you never know. Between this, Young Jeezy’s second arrest in as many weeks and Joan Rivers calling North West ugly , it has not a been a good month for rappers.

India Yelich-O’Connor, Lorde’s Younger Sister: The Next Lorde?

India Yelich-O’Connor is the younger sister of Lorde. She’s following in her vocal footsteps too, it appears … possibly creating a new generation of “Royals.” The 17-year-old songbird Lorde (real name Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O’Connor) is all the rage these days, and apparently, musical talent runs in her DNA. India, 15, is generating major buzz with a cover of “Say Something,” the hit song by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera, which hit the web this week: India Yelich-O’Connor – Say Something The beautiful song featuring The Voice coach and the alternative duo is soft and melodic, which fits perfectly with the young singer’s angelic vocal stylings. India’s rendition is a rough cut, for sure, with flaws in both harmony and recording quality, but her talent shines through, as does the family resemblance. Lorde has not spoken out about her sister’s first cover on social media, but it shouldn’t be long, as it’s already getting plenty of Twitter love from fans. Big sister is up for four Grammys this weekend – Song of the Year for “Royals,” Record of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance. We thought we had seen it all when it comes to the Kardashians and the tabloids. Kim Kardashian is gaining baby weight on purpose! OJ Simpson is Khloe’s real dad ! But mad props must now be given to The National Enquirer, for this supermarket rag has gone ahead and topped all previous headline related to Reality Television’s First Family. Remember when Bruce was going to get his Adam’s Apple reduced in December? Via a procedure known as a Laryngeal Shave? Only he decided not to at the last minute?
