Elisha Cuthbert has found her happy ending. The Canadian actress tied the knot with her longtime, hockey star love Dion Phaneuf Saturday, according to the Journal Pioneer of Prince Edward Island. Cuthbert wed the Toronto Maple Leafs captain at the St. James Catholic Church in Summerfield, P.E.I., with a reception for nearly 300 guests at Phaneuf’s home. Toronto Star reporter Rosie DiManno live-tweeted the hockey star’s nuptials from inside the church (which was fittingly decorated with maple leaves). “It’s a big wedding, probably the biggest I’ve ever done in my 46 years, as far as the celebrity part of it goes,” said Rev. Paul Egan to the publication. The couple began dating five years ago. Dion Phaneuf popped the question last September and announced their engagement to 35 friends and family during a lobster dinner at New Glasgow Lobster. Congrats to the newlyweds!!
Alexander Bradley, the man who claims that Aaron Hernandez shot him in the face earlier this year, has been ordered to appear before a grand jury. This is separate from the murder of Olin Lloyd, for which Hernandez is charged, and a 2012 Boston double homicide in which he is a person of interest. Bradley has been ordered by a judge in Massachusetts to testify before a grand jury later this month; it’s unclear if police are trying establish any link. He is scheduled to appear July 17. Bradley had been actively fighting the interstate subpoena, claiming that he required medical treatment in Florida. The judge ruled that the travel “will not cause undue hardship” for Bradley, who “is a material and necessary witness” in the investigation of Hernandez. Bradley sued Hernandez in June, before Lloyd’s murder, claiming Aaron Hernandez shot him in the face following an altercation at a Miami strip club. He never identified the New England Patriots tight end as the assailant when speaking to police, and only directly accused him in his recent lawsuit. The former NFL star is facing a first-degree murder charge in the slaying of his friend/acquaintance and is being investigated in a drive-by last summer. Officials suspect his motive may have been to keep Odin Lloyd quiet about his involvement in the earlier murder(s), though that remains just a theory.
Alec Baldwin may be done with Twitter , but his daughter is embracing the world of social media. By getting up close and very personal with boyfriend Slater Trout! “Happy 4th,” Ireland Baldwin Tweeted yesterday. “About to embark on a camping trip with @slatertrout. Hope you all have a fun holiday with your loved ones!” This 17-year old clearly did so, as evidenced by shots of her and Trout swapping spit and sharing a paddleboard while on vacation in Idaho. “We don’t do normal stuff,” Baldwin told People of her relationship. “We go paddleboarding with humpback whales in Maui. We go on athletic dates. And very romantic ones too. Like we will go to like a bluff and star gaze and go on trail runs and walk the dogs.” Trout, 18, is a professional stand-up paddleboarder who lives in Maui. Baldwin describes him as “incredible,” but also says the couple won’t be rushing ahead any time soon. “We both have lives to live and we both have careers and a lot of aspirations and things to do before we think about [settling down].”

Another day, another ugly firing involving Paula Deen. This time she’s actually on the other side, however. The embattled celebrity chef has cut ties with her agent following the recent fallout from Deen using racial slurs , which she admitted in a lawsuit deposition. Deen’s rep, Elana Weiss, said in a statement that Deen ” has separated from ” New York agent Barry Weiner, who she thanks “for the tireless effort.” Thanks, but don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Paula, who’s been axed by Food Network, Walmart, Target, JCPenney, Kmart, Sears and Random House, wants Lisa Jackson’s lawsuit thrown out. Deen admits using racial slurs, but a long time ago – not in this discrimination lawsuit, which she says is BS, citing the Prop 8 ruling as cause for dismissal. It’s unclear why she canned her agent … but things can’t be going too much worse at the time being, so at worst it looks like a lateral move for her.
Forget America’s Independence Day. A new report in The National Enquirer claims that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are set to celebrate their own independence from the country of their origin. The stars will soon say “toddle-oo to the red, white and blue” and move to London, a source alleges, explaining the reasoning behind this life change: “Mila is thrilled to leave Los Angeles because she doesn’t think it’s big enough for her, Ashton and Demi Moore … she’s also pushing Ashton to cool his friendship with Demi’s daughter and she’s sure living across the pond will take care of that.” It’s possible. All we know is that we’d do pretty much anything Reddit’s hottest woman asks. The tabloid goes on to say that Kutcher will sell his home in Los Angeles as soon as his contract is up on Two and a Half Men . “He and Mila are already house hunting in London. They’re so excited to start their English adventure,” claims the unnamed source who totally exists and is not making this story up.

Super Mario Bros. as Food, Part I Super Mario Bros. as Food, Part II Hunter Harrison used Vine to reenact the 8-bit NES classic, making a red fruit snack Mario sprints through a delicious land of graham crackers and Cheez-Its. In a follow-up video, Mario deftly dodges a Koopa Troopa shell, ascends the Cheez-It wall and leaps to grap the flagpole and reach the Chex castle at last. Hopefully for his next video, Hunter makes one with healthy recipes . But for now, this is another testament to the greatness of the web. And a stocked pantry.

After seeing the Jobs trailer , there was no doubt that not only does Ashton Kutcher look a lot like Steve Jobs, but also Josh Gad bears a striking resemblance to Steve Wozniak.
