There's been a craze in Hollywood over the last few years: Reboots! While some of the reboots have been a success, a big part of them have been a complete and utter failure. The most succesful have brought back some of the original cast members. Even though many reboots have premiered, there are still many in various stages of development. Scroll down to find out… 1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer A brand new series set in the Buffy universe was revealed at Comic-Con in 2018. But it seems like it won’t have a connection to the previous series. 2. Saved by the Bell Yes, a revival of this 1989-1993 NBC series has been confirmed for Peacock, the upcoming streaming service from NBC. Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley are confirmed to star. 3. Battlestar Galactica A reboot of Battlestar Galactica is in the works at NBC’s new streaming service from the wonderful mind of Sam Esmail who brought us Mr. Robot. 4. Gossip Girl Gossip Girl is coming back! Yes, really. But this take is a reboot on HBO Max — another new streaming service. No original stars are attached to return, but there is hope! 5. Party of Five Party of Five is getting the reboot treatment on Freeform. This one focuses on a group of children whose parents are deported. The children must work together to remain a family in the aftermath. 6. Mad About You Mad About You will reunite Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser in a revival series, slated to air in 2019 on Spectrum. Hm, how about Keeping Up with Kendall Jenner for a Kardashian spin-off show, round 58! Not only did the 23-year-old model throw us off by not walking during New York’s fall fashion week and then secretly appearing on the catwalk in London, but she also debuted a brand new look — blonde hair! Yep, the brunette beauty has ditched the dark side and surprisingly, we’re here for it. Everyone in the audience at London Fashion Week did a double-take as the supermodel strutted down Burberry’s spring 2020 runway show with her new ‘do. Honestly, she was almost unrecognizable in the photos. But for someone like Kendall, who has striking dark features, we must say that the beachy blonde coloring actually wasn’t half bad. In fact, she totally worked it! Unlike sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, who have frequently gone for the platinum blonde look in the past, Kendall’s new shade is more natural-looking and completely her own. The color appears to show off highlights that intertwine with her dark roots before falling throughout the full length of her hair. As usual, she kept her natural part down the middle and kept her hair out of her face and behind her ears. So klassy, so kute. This isn’t the first time Kendall has rocked the blonde look , however, this is the first time we believe it to be real . In 2016, the reality star had a similar style as she walked for Balmain at fall fashion week. Of course, that time around it was a wig! With her new look, however, her scalp is fully visible and the dyed coloring blends perfectly with her chocolate brown roots. So, I’m going to somewhat confidently say that she fully committed to the new lewk. *hair flip* A Kardashian/Jenner hair-transformation shouldn’t be a big deal, they change their hair a lot , however, everyone literally just bored fans (yes, me) will stop whatever it is that they’re doing to take a peek. And now — fans, friends and family members are praising Kendall for her new hair, especially sister Khloe . “@Khloekardashian Out of topic but can we talk about this: HOW GORGEOUS KENNY LOOKS WITH BLOND HAIR? omg i can’t!!!!” one fan tweeted to Khloe. Khloe was quick to jump in and support her sister’s light locks, something she has sported for years. “She’s so perfect either way!!!!!! I mean now she looks exactly like me,” Khloe tweeted back. However, Kendall quickly and hilariously shut that down. “you wish bitch,” she fired back. Ah, sisters. Now if you will please excuse me, I need to go schedule an appointment with my hairstylist.
The Duggars might easily be one of the most fascinating families on reality TV, but similar to the Kardashian family, many wonder what the heck they actually do for a living. Besides getting hefty paychecks from TLC, some of the Duggars help their dad, Jim Bob, with his commercial real estate business, while others do mission work or hobbies that they try to pass off as “careers”. As for the women, well, it’s no surprise that due to the family’s strict religion they seek more of the traditional roles as a stay-at-home mom and housewife. *hard eye roll* But there is one Duggar who (almost) impressed us by showing a desire for something other than bible studies and cooking three meals a day. Lauren Swanson recently shared some fun facts about herself in a new Instagram post, and besides the fact that the Counting On star can yodel, she caught our attention by opening up about her education. Usually, it’s not shocking to hear someone use their education as a “get to know me” tool, but considering the Duggar family’s home-schooled background and lack of college degrees, it’s a pretty big deal. However, just because Swanson did graduate with a degree doesn’t mean she is putting it to use. But thanks to her IG followers who asked all the hard questions, she got candid about her future career goals . Unfortunately, it was slightly disappointing. “I went to college when I was 16 and finished my Associate’s degree in Nursing at 18,” Lauren explained in her post. Her fans needed more of an explanation. Like, you know, why she isn’t a nurse then? “I would have to take my boards exam to practice. However, really nursing isn’t my passion,” she admitted. Lauren explained what she meant in another post after a second fan asked if she has ever worked before and whether or not she would ever go back to work. In response to that comment, she said, “An Associate’s Degree is only two years worth of schooling. I would have to go back for an additional year or two to be a certified nurse.” I’m going to go ahead and guess that this means 1. she hasn’t worked in the past considering she dodged that question and 2. she seems to have no intention of actually going back to school, or ever getting a real career. No judgment here. It’s important to follow your heart, but I must admit it would be quite refreshing to see one of the Duggar’s care about something other than reproduction. And God. Don’t @ me. Lauren and her husband Josiah Duggar found out back in May that they are expecting their first child together , which came as very special news considering the tragic miscarriage these two suffered months prior. “Recently, we walked through losing a little one through miscarriage, but we’re excited to have another little one on the way now,” Josiah said in a video filmed by TLC. “We’re just extremely grateful for this baby and just going through a lot really shows us how good God is and that miracles do happen.” We’re extremely happy for this couple, and whether or not the mom-to-be decides to continue her education one day, we know she will enjoy this next chapter of her life the most. Kim Kardashian has admitted that Kanye West is off his meds , and his “uninhibited” personality is shining through. Unfortunately, that means making unilateral decisions for his family — even ones that Kim does not agree with. The latest is banning North from doing something normal and harmless. What's next? “You know, she loves makeup,” Kim acknowledges in the interview clip that we have included. “But,” she admits. “Her dad won't let her wear it.” “So,” Kim continues, trying to turn Kanye's weird control issues into a positive. “He loves that it's, like, a sheer-ish gloss that she can wear.” “And she likes to play with it,” she adds. “And she likes to now give makeovers,” Kim reveals. “So she loves the colors.” “There's, like, these beautiful purple shimmers,” Kim details. “They're very, like, glitzy, shimmery, warm, rich palette.” “And she has these beautiful jewel tones,” she adds. “And she's loving it.” E! News ' interviewer then asks if Kim agrees or if she's just letting her husband make weird unilateral rules and blindly supporting him. “I think he had it,” Kim answers. She adds: “He changed all the rules.” “I'd let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I'd let her wear a red lip,” Kim recalls. She is referring to her huge Kardashian Christmas Eve party last year, which was the talk of the town after she snatched the event from Kris. “Or I'd let her do one pop of something. I'd let her, if she's wearing a black dress, a black lip,” Kim says. “Or,” Kim adds. “Kylie would give her all of these lip kits.” That makes sense. North is a 6-year-old girl in a family built on fashion, looks, and makeup. But apparently Kanye didn't care for that. “So, I kind of got in trouble for that,” Kim expresses. “So,” she says. “It's now no more makeup.” That said, Kim says, North is “absolutely” still allowed to “weigh in” when it comes to fashion. In other words, North is like a girl whose whole family are legendary bakers, but she's not allowed to eat dessert. Obviously, most families regulate what makeup their young children are allowed to wear, and when. For one thing, makeup is jarringly expensive, and young children tend to be wasteful. Part of that is inexperience, and part of that is a lack of impulse-control. Their brains are still very young. Wearing some red lip or something similar on a holiday or to a special event is normal, even for non-celebrity families. But Kanye's makeup ban isn't drawing is drawing criticism for more than just being an overreaction and a bit of a buzzkill. It seems like Kanye made a unilateral rule for his daughter that Kim is just following. Kim has been observed to be almost blindly supportive of her husband, at least when it comes to public statements. It has been clear for some time that Kanye's judgment and wisdom are both sorely lacking. Between his outlandish statements and his inability to healthily process criticism, something just isn't right. He's a Trump-supporter, folks. He cites that the orange man and he share the same “dragon energy,” whatever that is. It doesn't necessarily mean mental illness. 'Ye may just be, you know, a bad person. But it cuts Kim's longtime fans to the core to see Kim just smile and nod while her husband rambles on and off stages. Kim has a strong contrarian instinct where she gets defensive and becomes determined to resist critics — with some very notable exceptions. It seems that she is even more protective of Kanye. Many fans feel that this is to her detriment. And now, perhaps, to North's.
According to multuple reports, Kevin Hart has a long road to full recovery after being involved in a very serious car accident. While he lies at home and tries to get better, meanwhile, the actor now has something rather important and interesting to read: A lawsuit for $60 million filed against him by ex-lover Montia Sabbag. Sabbag, who had previously been identified as Hart’s mistress , slept with the comedian in 2017… while Hart was married. In 2017, the two engaged in consensual sex inside of a Las Vegas hotel room — and they were caught on tape while doing do. Hart actually shared a video on Instagram at the time, claiming someone was trying to extort him over the sex tape. Eventually, Hart’s former friend, Jonathan Todd Jackson, was later arrested and charged with extortion, although he has since denied the allegation. In new court documents filed this week, however, Sabbag says Hart was aware that Jackson set up this camera and alleges that the actor played a role in the sex tape filming and release. According to this 38-page complaint, Sabagg accuses Hart, Jackson, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and other related companies of intentional inflection of emotional distress, violations of privacy and negligence . Hart was already an A-Lister with an enormous fan base and impressive resume at the time of the affair. However, Sabbag claims the tape was made to help “promote [Hart’s] Irresponsible Tour, which was a record-breaking comedy and to increase his overall pop culture status,” according to the documents. Sabagg goes on to write that she “had no knowledge that the intimate activity” depicted in the video of her and Hart “was being recorded.” The video, which according to the suit showed Sabagg “naked from the waste down and engaged in private, consensual sexual relations with Hart,” was published online in September of 2017. Hart has not yet commented on the lawsuit. However, he admitted to the affair and apologized two years ago during a radio interview. “I made a bad error in judgment and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did,” Hart explained back then, adding: “It’s a sh-tty moment. It’s a sh-tty moment when you know you’re wrong and there’s no excuses for your wrong behavior. At the end of the day, man, I just simply gotta do better.” Wife Eniko Parrish has since chosen to remain with Hart. “I’m gonna go home, I’m gonna address it,” he continued in December 2017. “I’m gonna make my wife full aware of what’s going on and the situation I have now put us in, and I’m hoping she has a heart to where she can forgive me and understand that this is not going to be a reoccurring thing and allow me to recover from my f-cking massive mistake.” According to TMZ yesterday, Hart has been working with the district attorney for two years on this case. He believes his friend (Jackson) totally screwed him over and he’s been actively teaming with authorities any time they need his assistance, prompting some to wonder why he would do this if he did, indeed, play a role in the sex tape release. We have no idea what really happened, though, of course. Hart is currently recovering from a crash that left him with “major back injuries” when his Plymouth Barracuda veered off the road and landed in a ditch earlier this month. The actor was discharged from the hospital last week after undergoing surgery and is recovering from his injuries in a rehabilitation facility.
Remember when Amber Portwood got out of prison and everyone thought there was a chance that she'd changed and was going to turn her life around? Boy, she proved that wrong, huh? Things got very, very bad with Matt Baier, who she started dating a few minutes after she got out of prison, but her relationship with Andrew Glennon? Well, we keep getting more and more proof about what a disaster that really was. It looks like Amber never changed her awful, abusive ways … and now, according to a new report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup, she might lose her job over it. 1. What a Summer Amber’s whole entire life has been falling apart for the past few months, but it’s really pretty much 100% her own fault. 2. Truth And that’s because she’s an abusive, nasty person. 3. Memories We saw this when she was with Gary back in the day on Teen Mom — she punched him, grabbed at him, once she kicked him in the back while he was walking down some stairs. 4. Consequences Domestic violence was a big part of why she went to prison — she was charged with felony domestic violence for what happened with Gary, placed on probation, had some drug charges a little later, violated probation … just a lot of bad things, but the abuse was definitely part of it. 5. Hmm … History does seem to repeat itself, huh? 6. Oh, Matt Her next serious relationship after Gary was with Matt Baier, who she met online after being released from prison. Notorious bigot Derick Dillard’s transphobia is so intense that it tanked his reality career. Some of his fans hope that he might express some degree of regret — or maybe even apologize — for verbally attacking a teenage girl. Instead, Derick says that people should just “get over it already.” Ugh. “QUESTION: What do you consider to be the most pressing civil rights questions?” Derick asked his followers on Twitter. It’s not the right question to ask, since no single issue can be tackled alone. Civil rights work has to be intersectional or it does little good. “Thank you!” Derick replied to a no-longer-available tweet. “There’s no right answer; I’m just interested in what people feel are the biggest issues.” “I agree with you,” he then affirmed to his follower. “That we should always treat everyone with dignity and fairness.” “Great!” replies another tweet, who then asks Derick: “So you can now apologize to @JazzJennings, right?” Instead of ignoring the tweet or replying “hey, that’s a good idea,” he instead doubled down on his general awfulness. “Oh get over it already,” Derick demanded. He wrote: “Any comments were directed @TLC and the parents.” “I love @JazzJennings,” he claimed, all evidence to the contrary. Then, in a sentence that would be random if you didn’t know how his twisted mind works, he concluded: “We have got to protect children!” See, Derick Dillard thinks that Jazz Jennings’ parents are “abusing” her by accepting and affirming who she is. While it’s absurd and insulting for anyone to claim that, it’s almost comical coming from someone who married into the Duggar family. Even before Josh’s molestation scandal was uncovered, the Duggars were notorious for their monstrously abusive parenting practices. In the mean time, Jazz’s parents simply let her be herself from a young age, giving her love and emotional support. But to Derick’s distorted worldview, a “good” parent would force their child to live out a lie that matches whatever was scribbled on their birth certificate. In August of 2017, totally out of the blue, Derick took to Twitter to rail against TLC for the show, I Am Jazz . I Am Jazz has followed Jazz Jennings for years as she experiences her teenage years. Jazz is very fortunate in that her family has been supportive of her gender since she was very young. She’s always know that she is a girl. She was also able to undergo bottom surgery — the term for genital alteration, sometimes known as gender confirmation surgery. Not all trans folks experience enough dysphoria to get bottom surgery (or have the money to afford it if they wanted to), but Jazz underwent that in 2018. TLC’s cameras followed Jazz through that part of her journey — and that’s part of why Derick thinks that the show is “bad.” Even though trans folks have existed across numerous cultures for thousands of years, Derick thinks that hiding their existence from kids will magically stop kids from being trans. That’s not a surprising point of view — his ilk have been saying the same about gay and bi people for generations. It’s not true for htem, either. What really happens when you raise your kids in a bubble where they don’t know about LGBTQ+ folks is that kids who are think something’s wrong with them. Some will go into denial. Others will live with their secret for decades, feeling misplaced shame over who they are. Either Derick would prefer that minorities remain silent, invisible, and miserable … or he really thinks that they just hear of trans people existing and go “oh, I’ll try that for fun.” So no, Derick, people are not going to “get over” your clownish transphobia. Find out below. 1. Archie – Riverdale As the lead character on Riverdale, you would expect him to be likable. Instead, he doesn’t follow rules, complains when other people don’t follow rules, and walks about with half-naked at the best of times. 2. Morgan – The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead Morgan served little purpose to the narrative on The Walking Dead, so the decision to send him to the spinoff was silly. Morgan loves to give monologues that make very little sense. He’s the worst. 3. Jo – Grey’s Anatomy In the most recent season, the character of Jo was fleshed out. But for the seasons she was part of the show before that, there was a grand total of zero character development. It’s too late in the game for us to care about her. 4. Paige – Pretty Little Liars Paige was in a relationship with Emily at one point. Before that? She pushed Emily’s head underwater when her obsession with being the better swimmer took over. Yikes. It makes sense then that fans hated the character. 5. Noah – The Affair He has a superiority complex that makes him think that cheating on his wife was acceptable. He complains about his ex-wife when she ignores his calls. He’s quite simply a horrid human being. 6. Matt – The Vampire Diaries Matt was too bland to care about. Cameron Mathison, a television star likely best known for his long-running role on All My Children, has been diagnosed with kidney cancer. The actor 00 who currently hosts the Hallmark Channel morning talk show “Home and Family” — announced the unfortunate news on Instagram Tuesday. Although he explained that phyiscians believe his tumor has been growing for a “minimum 10 years,” he said he’s “optimistic” about his recovery. Alongside a photo of his family, this is how Mathison opened his announcement: “I have a health situation that I want to share with you all. “There are many reasons I love social media, staying connected with you all, sharing fun experiences… well this time I’m asking for your help. “About a month ago, I had an MRI for some gut issues I’ve been having, and during that MRI they found a tumor on my right kidney. “It’s consistent with Renal Cell Carcinoma … or kidney cancer. The good news is that it hasn’t spread to any other organs.” Mathison also is host of Entertainment Tonight and appeared on over 1,000 episodes of All My Children from 1998 through 2011. He once appeared as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. Added the star in regard to his health and his prognosis: “They say my healthy lifestyle and diet has no doubt helped keep it from growing and spreading to other areas, as doctors think it’s been growing in me for minimum 10 years. “I am extremely lucky that we found it early. “Thank you to my longtime friend and urologist @jon_giddens who has helped me tremendously through this process.” This is the photo Mathison used alongside his revealing caption: Mathison went on to thank his wife, Vanessa, and their two children, Leila, 13, and Lucas, 16. “Vanessa, Lucas and Leila have been absolutely amazing with their love and support,” he wrote. “As have my mom, dad, brother, and everyone at Home and Family, Hallmark, and ET.” Mathison proceeded to ask for support from his followers, as he will be undergoing surgery on Thursday. “My surgery is scheduled on September 12th,” he said. “I was hoping to receive positive thoughts, prayers, or whatever you feel comfortable with, on 9/12 (my surgery is at 1pm PST) I announced this on @homeandfamilytv yesterday, and wanted to make sure I posted about it here as well.” Mathison concluded as follows: “Feeling very grateful and optimistic!! #thankyou yes.” In response to the news, a number of stars with whom Mathison has worked expressed their condolences. Candace Cameron Bure wrote: “Absolutely praying for you Cameron, and over the doctors and nurses during your surgery as well as your family.” Lacey Chabert: “Lifting you up in prayer!
