D uring the first Democratic debate, Sen. Kamala Harris went viral for holding Joe Biden accountable for comments about segregationists and his policy on bussing. Now, the tables have turned and Harris took a blow in the polls. Sanders, Booker, Buttigeg, Booker, O’Rourke and Yang all remained the same. Warren went from 13 to 15 percent. Biden went from 31 to 32 percent. Harris’ drop could be due to the attack by Tulsi Gabbard . The Congresswoman from Hawaii said, “Now Senator Harris says she’s proud of her record as a prosecutor and that she’ll be a prosecutor president. But I’m deeply concerned about this record. There are too many examples to cite but she put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana.” She continued, “She blocked evidence — she blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California.” Harris tried to defend herself but Gabbard continued, “The bottom line is, Senator Harris, when you were in a position to make a difference and an impact in these people’s lives, you did not. When Biden tried to distance himself from Obama’s immigration policies, Booker went in, “You can’t have it both ways. You invoke President Obama more than anybody in this campaign. And the second thing that this really irks me because I heard the vice president say that if you got a PhD., you can come right into this country. Well that’s playing into what the republicans want, to pit some immigrants against other immigrants.” He also said, “Some are from shithole countries and some are from worthy countries. We need to reform this whole immigration system and begin to be the country that says everyone has worth and dignity and this should be a country that honors for everyone. ” Nonetheless, that hasn’t shaken Biden in the polls. Kelly bail in his federal racketeering case, saying he was “extremely troubled” by allegations that the singer had intimidated witnesses in another case. Judge Steven Tiscione ordered the disgraced singer to remain behind bars until his trial, saying that he didn’t believe that there were any set of bail conditions that could ensure that Kelly wouldn’t skip town. “I am also extremely troubled by the allegations of obstruction… And that there could be witness tampering,” the Judge Tiscione said. “Given the serious nature of the charges… He has an incentive to flee.” The disgraced singer appeared in federal court Friday morning for his first appearance in a case that alleges he was the leader of a criminal network that ferried girls around the country to him for sexual exploitation. Federal prosecutors argued that Kelly was a flight risk with access to lots of cash who’d had already paid off and intimidated witnesses in his 2002 child sex abuse case, where he was ultimately acquitted. Prosecutor Elizabeth Geddes said Kelly had a “history of obstruction” and had his lackeys bribe victims, made them sign false statements and recorded them to use as collateral if they decided to cooperate with authorities. “He did this over the course of many decades and he did it with many women and children,” Geddes said, adding that Kelly allegedly committed sex assault and kidnapping while out on bail in the 2002 case. But in his defense, Anton said there was no evidence of any recordings and said any claims against him were still “unproven accusations.” Anton said his client had been on bail from roughly 2002 through 2008 for his state child sex abuse case and he never tried to abscond. Source: Michael Campanella / Getty Swedish prosecutors have it in for A$AP Rocky . Reportedly, they want the Harlem rapper to serve 6-months in jail for his part in a brawl in Stockholm. The “Goldie” rapper insists he was acting self-defense. According to TMZ , the crux of the prosecution’s case is that A$AP Rocky hurled a bottle at the victim. However, witnesses say they never saw the rapper throw a bottle, although he admitted picking it up. Because of the bottle, prosecutors have requested to the judges that A$AP to do at least 6-months in jail. The sentence won’t be handed down for another week or so. Also, once again Donald Trump has tried to intervene , allegedly sending a letter requesting A$AP and his co-d’s be moved to a hotel. The letter is unprecedented, and the court rejected it. We get the feeling time served would have been more than enough if this was Aeson Rock. And you know why. A$AP’s mother, Renee Black (pictured above), has been in attendance during the trial.

Source: JGI/Jamie Grill / Getty Funeral To Be Held For Twins In Accidental Hot Car Death As we previously reported, 39-year-old Juan Rodriguez has been charged in the accidental hot car death of his 1-year-old twins. In an update, CBS reveals a funeral for his babies will take place today. “Today there will be a funeral for 1-year-old twins who died after their father left them in a car, apparently by accident. Juan Rodriguez is charged with manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, and endangering the welfare of a child. There’s been 24 hot car deaths this year,” the news site tweeted out, alongside a clip detailing the incident. If you aren’t aware of what happened, the story is absolutely horrific . A disabled war veteran, Rodriguez was supposed to drop his kids off prior to going into work (where he cares for the homeless and other vets). Rodriguez dropped his 4-year-old son off at daycare, then went about his day, forgetting that his twins were in the backseat and needed to be dropped off at their separate daycare center. Rodriguez parked at the hospital where he works at 8:22 a.m. and didn’t return to his car until 4 p.m. Then, 10 minutes after he left work and drove off, he pulled over because he realized what he’d done. “I left them in the car!” he reportedly screamed, as witnesses called 911. His kids were pronounced dead on the scene. Today there will be a funeral for 1-year-old twins who died after their father left them in a car, apparently by accident. Source: Andrew Chin / Getty A$AP Rocky has concluded the second day of his ongoing trial in Sweden with testimony from himself and the alleged victim, Mustafa Jafari. New video evidence has also been produced, which shows one of Rocky’s bodyguards brutally choke-slamming Jafari. The Blast reports : The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet has a reporter, Adam Westin, inside the courtroom for the second day of the trial who has been providing minute-by-minute updates. According to Westin (and Google Translate), when A$AP took the stand, he explained that he and his friends just wanted to walk around Sweden, get some air, and check out the sites. He said things were going well and they even took electric scooters to help get around. He said people started to approach his security guard but A$AP didn’t pay much attention and the security guard asked them to leave. Next thing A$AP knows, the security guard grabs the alleged victim by the collar and moves him out of the way. A$AP said the situation was a little scary and he said he “assumed that these guys were under the influence of some kind of drug.” Reports have recently surfaced that the 19-year-old Jafari had a record of assault, theft, and drug possession. In his testimony, Jafari claims he encountered Rocky and his team outside a burger joint and asked them if they saw a friend of his. Source: Splash / Splash News Today A$AP Rocky testified before the Swedish court in a plea to finally be freed from prison and told the judges that he actually begged the alleged victim to leave him alone. He also spoke about an alleged video that could have shown him hitting the victim with a bottle but A$AP claims that video doesn’t exist because he didn’t use the bottle as a weapon. via TMZ Rocky took the stand and admitted he and his crew “jumped” the alleged victim … but only after they threw punches at his bodyguard. The attorneys focused on a bottle A$AP was holding as he tried to stave the alleged victim away. He insisted, “I didn’t break any bottles,” but conceded his crew picked up bottles to “get them out of there.” He also said, “You got to realize my life is very unique and particular. I’ve been stabbed in the face and my home has been robbed at gunpoint twice. That’s why I have security.” This was in response to why he picked up the bottle. Rocky said his bodyguard tried various “tactics” to get the 2 guys away, to no avail. He says his bodyguard was trying to protect him but insists he didn’t “beat up the alleged victim.” TMZ posted video where you see the bodyguard pick the alleged victim up by his neck.
