Source: Prince Williams / Getty Young Dro Sentenced 12 Months In Jail For Family Violence Young Dro will be shoulder leaning in county orange for an incident with his girlfriend. Back in July we reported that Young Dro was arrested for battery and family violence when he smashed a banana pudding in his girlfriend’s face during a domestic dispute. Today, we get word via TMZ that Drosephine Baker has been sentenced to 12 months in prison but will only be serving 70 days and he’s already gotten credit for the 20 days that he’s already served. It is also reported that he will get an extra day of credit for each day of good behavior. Dro could be home as soon as October 5. That said, it isn’t all roses yet, the rapper will be on probation for the duration of the 12 month sentence and one slip up could land him back in the bing. He will be required to attend violence counseling in addition to staying clean from drugs and alcohol. Dro will also have to forfeit all of the weapons that he owns. Could have been worse. He better tighten up.
Months before Laura Jallali was claiming to be pregnant , her son came for her wedding … and basically told Aladin that he didn't trust or like him. Is Liam just being a huge jerk? Or … is he expressing some very real concerns about his mother's happiness and her future? And will the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way spoilers we know change how viewers feel about this very awkward moment? On this week's 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way , Aladin confronted Laura's son, Liam, while they spent time in a bath house. Now, in case you missed the episode, this wasn't a weird overture. Bath houses are very common in a lot of places (yes, they exist in the United States, too). And no, you won't get to see Aladin flaunt his sculpted body in whatever way you're imagining, either. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. As you can see in the video that we included, Aladin and Liam remain fully clothed. “You know, it’s like tradition, this, for our wedding,” Aladin explains to Liam, Laura's adult son. He's clearly just making conversation — putting off his more confrontational questions. “You know,” he continues. “Like, you come to the bath with all your friends, you know?” “When you prepare for your wedding, it’s a lot of stress. A lot,” Aladin correctly states. He adds: “So this day, like, the day of relax, you know?” Speaking to the camera, Aladin expresses his frustration with Liam. “He come across the world,” he remakrs. “And then he will prefer to stay in the hotel.” “It’s unbelievable,” Aladin expresses. “It’s bother me,” he admits. “Because he’s not show up for two days in my wedding.” “It’s weird, right?” Aladin asks. Now, Liam explains to him that he was really, genuinely sick. Traveling and then eating unfamiliar foods in an unfamiliar environment can absolutely do you in. Vacations are sometimes ruined that way. “Okay, that’s fine,” Aladin says. “But I feel like maybe you have problem. Maybe you want to tell me something.” “I mean yes, I did have some complaints about you,” Liam reluctantly admits. “And” he reveals. “I did make some comparisons to men in the past.” Liam stresses that this is not a personal beef that he has with Aladin — that Aladin didn't say or do something wrong, exactly. “It’s not that you offended me,” he promises his mother's new husband. “it’s the way I’ve always been with my mother’s past relationships,” LIam explains. “And you’re not any different.” “So,” he concludes. “I’m just going to leave it at that.” All kinds of awkward, folks. This conversation has really left a lot of fans divided. Some see Liam as an awkward, confrontational guy who's unwilling to let his mother live her life. Others think that he may have real concerns, and that he's seen a pattern in Laura's past choices in partners that we, the viewers, have not. (Suffice it to say that he's not the only guy who tries to look out for his mom who has a history of making disastrous choices in husbands) Given the recent allegations about Laura and Aladin's relationship , Liam may have been right on the money. Here's a hint: last we checked, Laura was hanging out with Evelin Villegas. Yes, really.
Source: Antonio Garcia / EyeEm / Getty On Monday, a hog farmer in Iowa was found guilty for the murder of his wife , who died in November 2018 after being impaled with a corn rake. According to reports from The Telegraph Herald , a jury in Dubuque County convicted 43-year-old Todd Mullis of first-degree murder in the death of his wife Amy Mullis. The conviction carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole. This conviction comes almost a year after Amy was found on the couple’s farm with the tool lodged in her back. Police said back in March that Amy’s death came not long after Todd learned that she had multiple affairs behind his back. She had apparently warned people beforehand that if her husband caught ever her cheating, “he might make me disappear.” She also was said to have told a friend that if she ever vanished, “you’ll know Todd did something to me.” Well, she was right. Email Submit Todd insisted to authorities that his wife simply fell on the sharp tool while by herself, but medical examiners found six puncture wounds and noted the rake was four-pronged. During the trial, Dr. Kelly Kruse–the forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy on Amy’s body–testified Amy’s cause of death was sharp-force injuries of the torso, saying that Amy was impaled at least twice and possibly three times by the corn rake. Back in March, it was reported that Todd called 911 the day his wife died. He told police that he removed the rake and started driving his wife to the hospital, which is when they were met by an ambulance who rushed Amy to the emergency room. That is where she was declared dead. Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news. ( Terms and conditions ). Amy and Todd were married in 2004, and had three children together. Police learned during their investigation that the couple’s marital problems began in 2013, when Todd caught Amy cheating. Even though Todd continued to tell detectives the relationship was fine, police eventually learned a second lover was discovered last summer. That second lover, Jerry Frasher, testified in trial, and told police that Amy had said she wanted to leave her husband but was “scared to death” of him. Defense attorney Gerald Feuerhelm told The Telegraph Herald Todd would appeal the court’s ruling. Source: Consolidated News Pictures / Getty Rumors have been circulating that MAGA Ye wanted to open his own church , but according to reports Kanye West wants to take his Sunday Service sessions across the country. Yeezy and his traveling choir could be coming to a church or whatever venue he chooses to put religious spins on your favorite classics soon. According to Page Six , the “born again” rapper wants to take his newfound love for remixing secular songs with gospel music across the nation. Per Page Six : Kanye’s had three prayer-type sessions in three weeks. He calls them his Sunday Service. First at his California home. Just family and friends. Then Chicago where he was raised. Then Atlanta, where he was born. He plans to continue this mission across the country. The man travels with a gospel chorus. They sing at the services. He just preached in front of 1,000 congregants and told how “reconnecting with my faith has helped me be a better husband and father.” He performed with a gospel choir and sang one of his own songs. After the service, Kanye greeted comedian Chris Tucker, Jermaine Dupri, and Nelly. No pew was reserved for Taylor Swift . This seems totally on par with West holding a service at Monster Lake Ranch in Cody. Wyoming , recently. There he covered Nirvana classics much to the delight of those who attended. I’m so sad I’m not there!!! https://t.co/f4gMlpaLSO — Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) September 22, 2019 There are still many on the fence with Ye’s foray into religion with many questioning if this is just a money grab or him genuinely wanting to spread the word. We are down with anything that helps him get his mind right, BUT we still waiting on him to denounce wearing the red hat and canoodling with the racist-in-chief, Donald Trump. This also follows the news that his rumored “gospel album” Jesus Is King is on the way. — Photo: Consolidated News Pictures / Getty
Source: VALERIE MACON / Getty W e already got a film revolving around Frank Lucas portrayed by Denzel Washington in American Gangster , now its Nicky Barnes turn. Collider is reporting that Will Smith will take on the role of the Harlem crime boss in the Netflix film The Council . Two-time Oscar nominee @WillSmith finds his 'American Gangster,' as he's set to play notorious NYC crime boss Nicky Barnes in the Netflix movie 'The Council.' https://t.co/hYySb58gqk — Collider (@Collider) September 24, 2019 The Council will see the actor teaming up with Peter Landesman again who also wrote Concussion which Smith also starred in. Per Collider: Concussion filmmaker Peter Landesman wrote the script, which delves into the never-before-told story of a crime syndicate consisting of seven African-American men who ruled Harlem in the 1970s and early ’80s. This was no ordinary crime syndicate, as the men dreamed of a self-sufficient and self-policing African American city-state, funded by revolutionizing the drug game. The movie centers on the Shakespearean court intrigue between The Council’s king, Nicky Barnes, dubbed “Mr. Untouchable” by the New York Times, and all the different members — as one unlikely rising protégé emerges. The Council won’t be Barnes first time on the big screen. In 2007’s American Gangster he was portrayed by Cuba Gooding Jr. and wasn’t too pleased that story revolved around Lucas. Barnes was arrested and sentenced to life in prison without parole. He eventually became a federal informant after he became upset with how his criminal empire was being run while he was behind bars. Barnes was released in 1998 and placed in witness protection. He passed away in 2012, information about his death wasn’t released until this year.
