Lindsay Lohan Considers Celebrity Apprentice

Dina Lohan has confirmed that her daughter is seriously contemplating joining the next season of Celebrity Apprentice because “Donald [Trump] is a friend of the family.” According to the New York Post , Lindsay cannot commit until NBC agrees to shoot around the actress’s production schedule, which includes shooting the porn star biopic Inferno . Earlier this week, Linday’s father Michael Lohan hinted that he was also being courted for the series. [ NYP ]

Californication Welcomes Rob Lowe

According to a Showtime press release dropped in Movieline’s inbox just moments ago, Rob Lowe will visit Californication next season for at least one episode. The square-jawed star, whom NBC is hoping will increase Parks & Recreation ‘s female viewership, will play “self-possessed, award-winning movie star ‘Eddie Nero,’ a possible contender to play Hank in the film version of his hit novel.” Apparently, David Duchovny’s hormone-addled cable series is the place where middle-aged actors go to raise uneasy parallels to their own sex scandals.

After months of dance training, Chace Crawford has reportedly pulled out of the lead role in the remake of Footloose . The 24-year-old star will reportedly be too busy shooting the next season of Gossip Girl to film the movie. But didn’t he know that going into production? We think there’s more to the story, but for now, Paramount Pictures is looking to cast an unknown actor for the role.
