Aaron Hernandez Denied Bail, Charged With Murder And 5 Gun-Related Charges According to TMZ reports : NFL star and murder suspect Aaron Hernandez has just been denied bail … meaning he’ll rot behind bars until his trial … and that could take forever. Hernandez was present in court today for a bail review hearing, where his lawyer begged the judge to release Hernandez from custody while he awaits trial. But the judge wasn’t moved by his arguments — that Hernandez is an upstanding citizen and family man with no flight risk — claiming the prosecution already had very strong evidence that Hernandez had committed the crime. As for the evidence … the prosecutor went through the entire timeline leading up to the murder of Odin Lloyd earlier this month, including matching shell casings found at the murder scene and inside Hernandez’ rental car. He also mentioned the photo TMZ posted last night — showing Hernandez brandishing a glock in the mirror 4 years ago — claiming it’s possible the murder weapon was also a glock. The prosecutor said they’d be seeking the max sentence for Hernandez … life without parole. Hernandez’ fiancee — who was also present in court — was inconsolable when the judge issued her decision to keep the NFL star behind bars. As we reported, Hernandez was remanded into custody yesterday following his arraignment and was ordered to be held WITHOUT bail. Hernandez has been charged with murder in the death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. He’s also been hit with 5 gun-related charges. It could be months — even a year — before Hernandez gets his trial. Welp, there you have it. Peace, playa, it’s been real.

According to TMZ It’s been 7 months since Kansas City Chiefs player Jovan Belcher murdered his girlfriend and then shot himself … but now a judge has finally decided who will get custody of the NFL player’s 9-month-old daughter. A probate judge in Missouri has appointed Sophie D. Perkins as the legal guardian of Zoey Michelle Belcher. Perkins is Zoey’s first cousin (once removed) on her mother’s side. Zoey’s mother — Kasandra Perkins– was shot to death by Belcher on December 1st, 2012. Belcher then drove to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City … where he killed himself. Jovan’s mother had tried to obtain custody of the child — but the judge clearly felt Perkins was the better choice. According to court docs, Zoey will inherit Jovan’s estate — which has been valued at $799,119.85. She’s also reportedly set to receive at least $1,000,000 from the NFL … plus $1.2 million from a life insurance policy. The main cause of this tragedy was that Jovan was a little boy in a man’s body. Is Debbie Rowe poised to become Paris Jackson’s legal guardian after all these years? If the 15-year-old wants it, and she very well might, in light of recent events, it’s likely. The custody judge in the teen’s guardianship case has ordered an investigation into her welfare after the stunning Paris Jackson suicide attempt last week. Debbie Rowe has, thus far, made no attempt to become Paris’ legal guardian. That title belongs to Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, and T.J. Jackson. T.J., Tito’s son, is Paris’ cousin. He was installed as co-guardian last summer, but all of this could change if the judge deems it in Paris’ best interest. With his own wife and kids, T.J.’s role has been marginal, according to TMZ, and Paris feels that Katherine, while loving, is not “connected” to her life. Paris and Debbie have developed an intense relationship in recent months, and the judge will no doubt weigh this factor if Paris pushes for a change. Moreover, if Paris Jackson wants Debbie Rowe as her guardian, which insiders say it’s a “likely” scenario, Debbie would gladly accept the responsibility. When Michael Jackson died in June 2009, Debbie voiced concern about the welfare of her children, Paris and Prince, but accepted Katherine as guardian. As long as the kids were protected, she has never made an effort to be involved, but things changed recently when Paris started reaching out to her. Debbie never waived her right to a guardianship, as some sources have erroneously reported, and a judge would no doubt take her overtures seriously. Not only is she her biological mother, but she’s forged a real bond with her lately. Do you think maybe this change is just what the youngster needs?
