Jessica began dating Eric Johnson , who filed for divorce from his wife of five years, Keri, in January, around five weeks ago. They met at her Beverly Hills’ home. Friends introduced the tight ends at a party she had. RISKY NEW ROMANCE : Really, what romance isn’t for Jessica? “Jess is definitely rushing into this ,” an insider says, noting they recently went to Jacksonville, Fla., to celebrate Eric’s grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary! When not hanging out with his entire family, Simpson and Johnson made time for some serious PDA at the modest, family-friendly Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. “Her hand was on his butt, and they walked slowly just to enjoy the moment. They looked cute,” says an insider, who saw a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. Shocking news there … they didn’t want a maid barging in. Friends fear Jessica Simpson has already altered her lifestyle for her New Age-leaning, yoga-loving fella: “Just shocked my system with a vegan diet, special Pu-erh tea from China and cupping since Friday,” she Twittered on June 27.

The source notes, later stating the obvious a bit by adding, “I’m surprised he is dating Jessica Simpson . She is such a big star and he is so reserved.” The guy also went to Yale … go figure! Johnson, who also played briefly for the New Orleans Saints, definitely has experience with the limelight, however, having excelled in sports all his life. Former NFL star Eric Johnson couldn’t catch on with a pro team for that long … but he’s got quite a catch in Jessica Simpson. Here’s hoping he doesn’t fumble it away. The 6′ 3″ Needham, Mass., native broke 11 school records while playing wide receiver for Yale University. He’s also a former academic All-American. Called “The Big Nerd” by Yale friends, according to the San Francisco Chronicle , “He’s very smart, and one of the most down-to-earth athletes I know.” Simpson began dating Johnson in May after friends introduced them. He’s currently separated from his wife, Keri, who filed for divorce earlier this year. “He is the polar opposite of what you think of when you say ‘player,’ ” says the source who knows him well. “When I met him, he was driving a Prius.”

Earlier this month, Kourtney Kardashian pretended to wax the pubic hair off Khloe Kardashian in one of the most ridiculously scripted moments in reality show history. Now, sister Kim Kardashian in joining in on the fun – sort of. The professional celebrity has become the latest star to get the wax figure treatment at Madame Tussauds museum in New York City. She joins such other recently-honored celebs as Robert Pattinson and The Jonas Brothers. Who knew Madame Tussauds was so into sloppy seconds? Ray J waxed this ass years ago! In recognition of this event – which proves Madame Tussauds is officially out of talented individuals to sculpt and portray in its halls – Kim wrote on her blog today: I can finally reveal that I am getting my own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in NYC!!!! This is one of the greatest honors ever and I am so thrilled and excited. Now I will never have to leave NYC… I’ve officially gone bi-coastal! LOL As you can see above, the museum has only carved the face so far. It needs to bring in record amounts of wax before it can even get started on Kim’s butt and the boobs.
