The Ironman arc-ending movie has blown well past what every previous film made EVER in terms of revenue and continues to grow slowly every single day. Now that Endgame’s moment is coming to an end it’s time to move on and keep the MCU storyline pushing. To the surprise of many, it was announced that Chris Hemsworth would return to his role as Thor for an unprecedented fourth feature film. While many are excited and anticipating the 2021 release of Thor: Love & Thunder , the team at Marvel Studios is stuck making the biggest decision post Endgame: Do you keep Thor in the fat aesthetic he debuted in Endgame or return Chris Hemsworth to his lady-pleasing ripped body, which happens to be his natural state. Recently the director of the upcoming film Taika Waititi sat down with Yahoo to discuss the big question on everyone’s mind. While he’s working on the finishing touches for the script, he and Marvel still have no idea which direction to take Thor’s body. “This is an ongoing debate that we’re still having at Marvel,” Waititi told us during an interview promoting his new festival-winning comedic WWII drama Jojo Rabbit. “‘Cause we’re trying to figure out how long — how many months or years — this is after Endgame, at what point does this take place? I think we always want to keep changing it up with Thor. He’s so interesting when he’s changing all the time.” The entire purpose of Thor gaining weight was to convey the emotion he went through from losing everyone around him to Thanos. For now, it seems likely that Thor will return to the screen ripped with the six-pack he’s known for because if not, there will be tons of ladies hatefully @-ing Marvel and Taika on Twitter. Frank Ocean’s Club Night PrEP+ Launching In New York City

Source: Theo Wargo / Getty R&B recluse, Frank Ocean wants to provide a safe space for folks to party. His new club night that aims to do so is launching in New York City, Thursday (Oct.17). The Fader reports the new club night called PrEP+ named after the HIV prevention drug of the same name will be presented by Blonded. The press release describes the night as a homage to New York’s 80s and 90s club scene, and what could have been if the drug existed during that era. The flyer for the inaugural night hints at the renowned queer nightclub, ‘THE WORLD’ possibly serving as the theme for the party. “PrEP+ is the first in a series of nights; an ongoing safe space made to bring people together and dance. PrEP+ will welcome globally celebrated DJs. PrEP+ welcomes everyone.” According to the press release “ticket links have been distributed.” There are also rules to follow if you’re attending No photos or videos are allowed in the venue. Consent is mandatory. No racism. No homophobia. No transphobia. No sexism. No ableism or discrimination in any form will be tolerated. Ocean said in a statement that his next album will draw influence from electronic music and nightlife so this club night is in line with that. You can check out the flyer for the event below. Earlier this year, New York City-based style and travel influencer Monroe Steele posted that she had teamed up with Kristin White , the Mayor of Black Bermuda (joking, but not really), to host a trip to Bermuda in the Fall. I decided to roll solo, but ended up meeting some other dope female solo travelers and Bermudian locals who fell nothing short of #BlackGirlMagic. Let’s start from the beginning.  Monroe has been to Bermuda a couple of times and describes it as one of her favorite places in the world. Kristin White is a Bermuda native and renaissance woman who loves to tell stories about people from her island, especially when it comes to Black entrepreneurs, especially women. Kristin is a writer, talk show host, owns a gift shop called Long Story Short , and she hosts history tours. She can count Yara Shahidi ’s family among her happy tour customers. However, Kristin decided to take the concept of her tours to a higher level.  Source: Kendall Trott / Kendall Trott After learning that the Bermuda Board of Tourism wanted to attract more African American visitors, which currently stands at 4% , Kristin decided to host a full trip to her island to provide a deeper look into what it has to offer. When most people think of Bermuda, they think of rich White travelers and business people who come to play. While all of the above is true, Kristin also wants travelers to explore the island’s rich African diasporic heritage, as well as its bustling population of Black creatives who are turning their passions into profit and achieving milestones in Black History. So, she slid into Monroe’s DM’s to see if she would be interested in tapping into her follower base to host a group of stylish women on the island and “Untold Stories” was born. Bermuda is a 90 minute flight from JFK. It’s chill, the beaches aren’t overcrowded, and it’s a great place to experience luxury that rivals that of a weekend in the Hamptons.  Myself plus two other young stylish Black women joined the fun as we explored Bermuda over a four day weekend. We stayed at the luxurious Hamilton Princess Bermuda and traipsed around the island visiting modern museums, tasting epic food, getting history lessons, and visiting chic Black owned boutiques. Brigid Kosgei, 25, has a history of winning the annual race (like she did last year) but this year, she phenomenally put almost 7 minutes between herself and her competition. It is awarded to individuals in the United States and across the globe in recognition of their contributions to African and African American culture and the life of the mind,” read the Hutchins Center for African and African American Research’s website . Other 2019 medal recipients include artist Kerry James Marshall , philanthropist and entrepreneur Robert F. Smith , BET co-founder Sheila C. Johnson , Andrew W. Mellon Foundation president Elizabeth Alexander , Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution Lonnie G. Bunch III and poet Rita Dove . The awarding ceremony will take place on October 22. The group will join a long list of prestigious previous medalists who are the epitome of Black excellence. Amongst those who have received W. E. B. Du Bois Medals are comedian Dave Chappelle , athlete and activist Colin Kaepernick , director Ava DuVernay and poet Maya Angelou . This year is shaping up to be nothing short of epic for Owens. In February she announced that she was creating an affordable housing complex in her hometown in an effort to level the playing field when it comes to housing equity. Williams’s foundation has reportedly paid for over 500 mammograms in Pittsburgh, Memphis, Charlotte and Jonesboro, Arkansas since 2015. He began the free screening program, “53 Strong for Sandra,” as a tribute to his mother after she died at the age of 53. The former NFL player has also lost four aunts to breast cancer.
