Damn, I hope it’s not time to cancel Daniel Caesar . He has great music. Caesar went on Instagram Live to drunk rant to express his thoughts on Black people, celebrities and more. The rant kicked off with Caesar asking why black people were mean to social influencer YesJulz who was recently involved in a Twitter back and forth with fellow influencer and “ State Of The Culture ” co-host Scottie Beam and Karen Civil. Check Out: Black Twitter Is Dragging Culture Vulture YesJulz By Her Blaccent For Coming At Scottie Beam & Karen Civil He then turned his attention to “cancel culture,” how Black people need to bridge the gap “can’t win the game by choosing to not accept the winning team’s [white people’s] strategy.” He also addressed Dave Chappelle’s homophobic joke saying “he can say what he wants.” He also had some words for “ State Of The Culture ” host and Podcaster Joe Budden. Now the “Best Part” singer did say that anyone that disagrees with him “can stop listening to his music.” Caesar has some dope music so I don’t think he should be canceled. He even says although he doesn’t agree with Budden and Chappelle’s words, he’s not going to cancel him. Towards the end he says he wants Black people to win. However, someone should have taken homie’s phone. Let’s see what he says when he’s sober. Source: Courtesy of @photosbynae FOX’s hit series Star, created by Lee Daniels and Tom Donaghy , returned to television with its midseason premiere this week. Starring Queen Latifah , Ryan Destiny , Brandy Norwood , Jude Demorest and Brittany O’Grady, the show follows the pitfalls of three up-and-coming artists as they attempt to navigate the music business. Just before her show hit small screens all over the nation, Ryan Destiny stopped by our offices and we chatted all about how life has changed for the Star actress since she booked the gig nearly five years ago. Having been honored at this year’s International Women of Power event, we also talked professional women of today, what they need in a partner, and more. The talented (and grounded) 24-year-old hit the nail right on the head. I just knew that a lot of things were going to change in my life and I was kind of preparing for it,” Ryan tells GlobalGrind. “Regardless of what it is, just be ready for whatever your life is about to turn into—good or bad,” she told herself when she booked the gig. “And there’s been a lot of good things and there’s been a lot of bad things to happen, but regardless, I’ve grown a lot as a person, as an actress, as a singer. There’s just a lot of great things that I feel like I’ve taken from the show,” she said of life after committing to Star . She also tells us that her favorite part of playing Alex Crane is she gets to do the three things she loves in one project—sing, act, and dance. “I always say that’s the coolest thing to me.” View this post on Instagram A bomb way to start celebrate #internationalwomensday. I think Alexis Ren has decided to use her platform she created by being a whore…to do so much more…as whores do…just look at Stormy Daniels…a whore who decided to go mainstream….to finally have a voice and to be more than just a cunt that did dirty fucking things for a long time.. Because a caption to one of these pics was… bless the people who just want to be better, do better, feel better; who refuses to give up despite the shit life pulls. we all in this bitch together…go women. go men. go earth. go all of us. If that isn’t her laying the groundwork to start her own religion, it’s a tax write off that those influencers need from all the money they make…not to mention Kim and Kanye are starting one and these mooch fucks have no original thought. It’s some follow the leader shit and the Kardashians are unfortunately they leaders….because in case you didn’t realize…influencers aren’t influencers at all…they are just the best at biting so people think they are influencers…it’s mainstream candy coated shit with no soul…but it does have bolt on tits… JOIN THE NEWSLETTER YOU ASSHOLES! The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson just saved her job by the skin of her teeth. But she’s already in trouble again. This time, fans are outraged after she exploited the tragic death of Luke Perry to push her business. Vicki’s controversial post began: “I know most of you have heard about the unfortunate passing of Luke Perry at the young age of 52.” “Luke was responsible in his estate planning,” she praised. “And because of that,” Vicki wrote. “He relieved his family of a lot of the burdens that would happen if he didn’t have it in place the way he did.” “It makes you realize how important Planning is,” she observed. “And,” Vicki continued. “How NOT to procrastinate taking care of a trust, health directives, and securing life insurance for those you leave behind.” “So sad,” her post concluded. That sounds like Vicki is praising Luke for his foresight and responsibility. The Riverdale star was worth an estimated $10 million at the time of his passing. That small fortune has now passed on to his two children, Sophie and Jack, who are young adults. But Vicki has her own insurance business. So it seems to her followers that she was exploiting a famous death to promote her own business. That is extremely distasteful. “Really? Capitalizing off of another persons death to get business,” accuses a commenter. “SO UNBELIEVABLY TACKY!” “I was a fan, but not anymore,” declares another. “TACKY of you to advertise your insurance company with the unfortunate passing of a celebrity.” That same commenter continues: “We all know, or should know, to plan for our futures. Shame on you!” “This is literally disgusting…take this post down,” demands another. “It was already said that he wrote a will and left everything to his children.” “Stop being ridiculous,” that same commenter concludes. “Really?” exclaims another commenter. “Using the death of a star to promote your insurance business? Super poor taste,” “Wow lady you should be ashamed of yourself,” chimes in another. “Really how disrespectful are you.” “How would you like it if somebody posted this when your Mom died Vicki?” asks another, getting very personal. That same commenter continues: “Like that’s what’s important when family is grieving over the loss of a loved one.” “Besides,” the commenter adds. “Whether he was prepared financially or not is none of anybody’s business to be putting on social media or to be using to promote your own business.” “Sick, Vicki….money hungry and heartless,” the disgusted follower accuses. “Get yourself together, seriously.” Finally, the comment concludes: “May Luke Perry rest peacefully and his family find strength during this time of great loss.” We certainly agree that Luke Perry’s death isn’t a good segue to use to plug your business. That said, if a celebrity overdoses or dies in a car crash, people often talk about the importance of things like getting help or driving safely. Vicki’s message would have been just fine if it had come from almost anyone else — provided that they don’t own an insurance business. It is the perceived conflict of interest that prompted Vicki to post that message. She has since wisely deleted it. A number of wealthy individuals, including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, were indicted as part of a massive college fraud scheme . One day after that news broke, Lori was arrested on Los Angeles. Meanwhile, former fans cannot help but notice certain parallels between Lori's scheme and her role as Aunt Becky on Full House . Speaking to People , a representative from the U.S. Attorneys Office Central District of California confirms that Lori has been arrested. She remains in custody and is expected to make an appearance in court at 2pm (PST). The 54-year-old actress was arrested following an overnight flight from Canada, where she had been filming. She faces a felony charge of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. She also faces a charge of honest services mail fraud. Lori is one of dozens facing charges for what appears to have been a massive, nationwide scheme. The schools involved range from USC to Yale to Princeton to Stanford to Georgetown. Wealthy parents are accused of having paid, in amounts ranging from the tens of thousands to considerably greater sums, to guarantee their children's college placement. In some cases, these were payments to have someone else take an entrance exam. Others were bribes for coaches to list students as having been recruited as athletes when they were not. Part of the outrage over this is brought on by the thought of students who had applied and been denied because these slots went to students whose parents paid bribes. Lori is specifically accused of paying $500,000 for her daughter to be virtually placed on a university rowing team. Her young adult daughter, Olivia Jade, is an Instagram influencer who has dabbled in acting. Reportedly, Olivia posed on a rowing machine to help sell the claim that she was part of the team. It is unclear how much she or any of the other children may have known of what their parents were doing to secure their future. But Olivia has expressed a disinterest in college academics multiple times on social media. Considering that her mother may go to prison over what she did for Olivia's college career, those posts have not aged well. Speaking of things that have not aged well … (No, this is not a knock on Lori, who remains beautiful on the outside) … Lori's role on Full House, which made her famous in the first place, is now coming back to haunt her during this scandal. Notably, she was the voice of reason and honesty on multiple episodes in which Uncle Jesse tried to use shortcuts. In one episode, written by someone who doesn't know how SATs work, Jesse snuck a radio to DJ to try to help her cheat on her SAT exams. It was aunt Becky who took the SAT answer sheet (which no proctor would ever have, let's be real) to stop him from helping her. Another episode showed Jesse lying to an elite preschool to try to get his twins enrolled in the hopes that he would give them a head start at life. It fell to Becky to talk him out of it. In the episode, she delivered some very heartfelt lines about how the twins would go through life at their own pace, and didn't need a dishonest boost. It seems clear that speaking those lines had no lasting effect on Lori Loughlin — not when it came to her own child's future. Watch these clips for yourself. They juxtapose nicely with her current scandal, don't you think?
Most people jump on social media to browse the platforms to see what their friends, family, celebrities, or favorite influencers are doing. If you haven’t been on social media for the past few hours then you would know that Facebook and Instagram have been down. Currently you can’t do much of anything on the social media sites because of some type of technological issues. Both platforms had a worldwide outrage and users are NOT happy. The blackout largely effected the United States and countries in western Europe. Facebook is hard at to fix the problem and they’ve released a statement because their users were not happy! Rapper Soulja Boy has a solution for all the platforms. He took to twitter (the only popular social media site not down at the moment) to solve the issue. Facebook????? Soulja Boy App is up and well!
