On Thursday, reports came out that Kellen Winslow II had been arrested — again — in San Diego, without really giving much detail about what he had allegedly done this time. His previous arrests were for marijuana possession and burglary. This time, things are looking much more serious. Winslow faces 9 different criminal charges, including kidnapping and multiple accusations of rape. He could face life in prison. First, here are the charges that WInslow II is facing , according to TMZ ‘s report. -Two counts of kidnapping with the intent to commit rape -Two counts of forcible rape -One count of forcible sodomy -One count of forcible oral copulation -Two counts of residential burglary -One count of indecent exposure We know that those last two don’t even sound like they’re worth mentioning in the context of those other, very serious charges. As we said earlier, if he is convicted of all of these charges, he could be facing life in prison. From what law enforcement officials have told TMZ Sports , Winslow was arrested by the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Division. The arrest went down at 1:05pm on Thursday. The San Diego District Attorney informed TMZ of what happened. “A warrant was issued this morning for Kellen Winslow II’s arrest,” the D.A. revealed. “And he was taken into custody by San Diego Sheriff’s Deputies Thursday afternoon.” (Of all of the tattoos that Kellen Winslow II has accumulated over the years, he says that this Frederick Douglass quote is one that he does not regret or intend to have removed) The 34-year-old professional athlete played football for the NFL from 2004 to 2013. Now, he has been placed into police custody at the Vista Detention Facility, a San Diego county jail. In the mean time, a search warrant has been carried out upon his residence. Winslow has been married to his wife, Janelle, since 2006. Son Jalen Maximus Winslow was born in February of 2011. Daughter Juliana Arielle Winslow was born in August of 2013. On June 7 of 2018, just a week before Winslow’s arrest for these very serious charges, he was arrested fleeing an Encinitas, California mobile home park. At the time, he was only charged with felony first degree burglary. The exact accusations against him remain unclear, as does the timeline for how the alleged burglary connects to … everything else. But these are deeply disturbing and disgusting allegations. It is believed that they come from at least two different women, but a lot of details are still up in the air. We imagine that we will all know more very soon as this sickening story unfolds. View Slideshow: Hollywood Sex Scandal: Who’s Been Caught? Accused? Fired? Source: Mike Jordan / Getty It’s been a minute, but the Fab Five are finally back for season two of TNT’s hit dramedy Claws . And from the looks of the season premiere, it’s clear that Desna, Polly, Virginia, Jen and Quiet Ann are up to their necks in money laundering, Russian mobsters, the Dixie Mafia, avoiding getting killed and of course, the nail art game. While the show, which stars the amazing Niecy Nash and Karrueche Tran , may be over the top at times—in a good way of course—it never lacks authenticity, which matters since the story is centered on a Black woman and her “ride-or-die” crew. What’s also clear is that a lot of that realness has to do to with its seasoned showrunner Janine Sherman Barrois . HelloBeautiful sat down with Barrois to talk about the importance of telling strong women’s story, why Niecy Nash is the show’s anchor and whether Claws has encouraged her to be more daring with her nail art. HelloBeautiful: You’ve written for shows like ER and Criminal Minds . While Claws has a criminal element, it certainly isn’t about serial killers or hospital drama. What about a nail salon in Florida drew you in? Janine Sherman Barrois: It was just so bold and refreshing. I read the pilot script [the show’s creator] Eliot Laurence wrote and it was just so good! I loved the Florida noir aspect and the humor and the drama it possessed. That, and the idea that it was a centered on these five cool fierce women. So often on television, women are not on the forefront, they usually serve as sidekicks to the male leads. But with Claws , these women are the heart and soul of the show. HB: I watched the season premiere twice, it was so outrageous, amazing and the gender power dynamic has really shifted from the first season. Instead of the Desna working for the Hussers, they work for her under the Russians, who are also women. With the #MeToo Movement stronger than ever, why is having Desna & company in charge so important? JSB: First, while Claws is definitely about female empowerment and women sticking up for themselves, I don’t want to conflate the #MeToo Movement with the show. So with that being said, yes, I think the gender power dynamic shifting from a patriarch with Uncle Daddy [Dean Norris] to a matriarch with Zlata [Franka Potente] is a great thing. Women have always been woke and we’ve always been trying to take our power and say we’re not putting up with inequality anymore, so it’s more than just that. We are in a time where we are even more vocal about [being entitled] to parity with men, whether it be financially, sexually or creatively. Time is really up for inequality, especially for these women that work at a nail salon in the middle of a strip mall in Palmetto, Florida. HB: Niecy Nash is such an anchor to this series, I couldn’t imagine the show without her. I read that initially she wasn’t available for the pilot because she was shooting a different one, but that later changed and she was cast with the quickness. JSB: When you look at the show now, it’s so clear that the only person who can play Desna is Niecy. But at the time, we were looking at lots of women of difference races—we really didn’t know who could play this role. But when we heard her pilot wasn’t happening, the head of studio called us and asked did we want to meet with her. We said yes. The minute she walked in the room, she just blew our minds. She was different from anything we had ever seen. Niecy embodies power and has this unapologetic fierceness to her. Let me tell you, this was all from just a meeting, but we knew from day one she had so much passion to play this role and would give Desna the layers she deserved. But what’s also great about Niecy is that she’s not just passionate about her character, she’s passionate about everyone else’s and advocates for the writing room to make sure they are just as cool and layered as Desna. HB: One of the strengths of the show is the power of friendship and it’s interesting because from their race to sexual orientation, they are very different. We rarely see this on TV, especially in a way where they are all equals, not just sassy sidekicks that boast up the white female protagonist. I absolutely love it. JSB: Over the weekend one of the show’s actors shared that someone told them the Claws shows them that Black women and white women and other women of color can forge real friendships and get along. I think that’s very key and in so many parts of the feminist movement, women of color have asked white women, “Where are you when it comes to our causes?” So I think its very important to see that these women are bonding and forging friendships that is about their humanity and their race. Also, we wanted for it to be authentic. When we were casting Jen [Jenn Lyon], we wanted someone who we really believed would be best friends with Desna. We needed something about Jen’s worldview where it was clear that having a diverse group of women in her life came from her own desire and her soul. Too often, these types of friendships come because you’re paid to have it, like you work with someone and you’re forced into this friendship. Or you go to college and you’re the first person of color your roommate has ever seen. But these women aren’t like that. There is a commonality of sisterhood that exists despite of their race and sexual orientation, something that TV has ignored for far too long. HB: Being one of the few Black female showrunners in the industry along with Shonda Rhimes ( Grey’s Anatomy ), Lena Waithe ( The Chi ) and Karin Gist ( Star ) to name a few, how important is to for us to have a seat at the table? JSB: It’s extremely important. The more diverse people you have in the room, the larger point of view you have to shape the story. And when you have people of color running a show, they can help make sure inclusion happens behind the scenes, with the actors and the crew. This is the world of the new generation to make inclusion and diversity a part of life and how we do things in Hollywood. We are far more woke than the older generation and with them getting older and retiring, we are going to see a real shift. I believe things are getting much better. Also, we have Shonda Rhimes who has made billions of dollars for her network and once you bring in that kind of money, and show that not just white men can do it, you open the doors for so many other women of color and show them and the execs that it’s possible. HB: What’s your advice for Black female writers trying to break into the industry? These three things. First, you need to write everyday, it’s far too competitive not to. Also, y ou also have to read a lot. Whether it’s fiction, screenplays or television specs, the more you read the better storyteller you will become. Most importantly, be persistent and look for the opportunities. A lot of people don’t know how to find them and when they have an opportunity, they miss out on it because they weren’t prepared or they didn’t realize. Keep your eyes open and be ready. Honestly, if you want to make in the industry, you have to be obsessed with it. HB: Finally, given that Claws is about a nail salon, how often do you get your nails done? And has the show encouraged you to be more creative? JSB: [Laughs] I work so much that I can only get my nails done about once a month, but I will definitely try funky things, especially if I have an event or a press junket for the show. I’m also into wild press ons too. But I do love getting my nails done, not only does it complete your look, but it relaxes me and you can hear the best stories just sitting back in the salon. It’s my therapy. This interview has been edited and condensed for clarity. Catch Claws on Sundays on TNT at 9pm Eastern/8pm Central. Last year, viewers slammed Eminem's performance . They called him a hack and a has been. Hey, everone's a critic, right? Now, however, he's being criticized for something much more serious — for setting off gunshot noises at his concert. The crowd visibly ducked in fear. And he's getting dragged for making thousands of people think that they were about to die in a hail of bullets. The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, most often known as Bonnaroo, isa four-day music festival that takes place each summer in Manchester, Tennessee. If you live in Tennessee or any of the surrounding states, this is the festival that your friends who are willing to brave musicals attend each year. Unfortunately, some concert-goers received a serious fright. During his song, “Kill You,” pyrotechnics produced a chillingly realistic gunshot noise. So much so that, as you can see in the video that we included, the crowd was ducking in fear. The video quickly circulated on Twitter, inciting outrage. “Less than a year after Vegas and @ Eminem thinks it’s a good idea to blast gun shot sfx onstage at a music festival? Bad call on this headliner @ bonnaroo . What happened to Radiate Positivity?” The Las Vegas shooting that claimed dozens of lives and wounded hundreds took place at the beginning of last October. Many of the victims had attended a Jason Aldean concert. For concert-goers to hear very realistic gunshot noises … it seems very natural for so many of them to instinctively fear for their lives. That doesn't sound like a good time. Eminem is no stranger to controversy. His team responded that these were not actual “gunshot” noises, but pyrotechnic concussion effects featuring a sonic boom. That seems like splitting hairs, but whatever. As always, his diehard fans were eager to jump to his defense. One person took to Twitter to refer to a previous performance of “Kill You.” “You can hear the same sound at the end you idiots. Watch some Eminem performance before going to one.” That's a little harsh. “So you grew up listening to Eminem but you didn’t expect gun shot sounds on his set.” Well, some would argue that it's a different experience when mass shootings are so common. “The gunshot actually makes the performance 10 times better.” We'll take that person's word for it. Some have argued that legislation should curtail this sort of element within a performance. There would be legal precedent. A famous First Amendment exception to free speech is using that speech to do harm, such as shouting “fire” in a crowded theater. Many would say that Eminem setting off such realistic sounding gunshots is the equivalent, and could provoke the crowd to trample each other in fear. After all, actual mass shootings occur multiple times per week, thanks to the widespread and virtually unchecked availability of tools designed for killing. Gunshots in music online or in other media (such as films) is different, as it comes with a visual context and is not usually consumed in massive, dense crowds of people who are standing shoulder-to-shoulder. Are gunshot effects in concerts a threat to concert-goers? Were Eminem's diehard defenders right to criticize fans for freaking out at the sounds of gunshots, since they were expected by many as part of the show? Or were concert-goers right to react instinctively — better safe than sorry — and were critics right to condemn the use of the sounds? Maybe the problem has nothing to do with the audience, the critics, or even Eminem. Maybe living every single day with the knowledge that we could die in a hail of bullets while going to a theater or using mass transit or attending school or a house of worship is the culprit. Perhaps fixing our nation's gun culture and gun epidemic will help to repair some of the other fractures and conflicts in our society. And people won't have any reason to fear attending a concert.

Despite the fact that detractors have been predicting their demise non-stop for the past decade, the Kardashian clan is still going strong and raking in unimaginable amounts of cash. It all started with Kim’s sex tape , of course, but in the years since, every member of the Kard clan has distinguished herself in one way or another. We went with the feminine pronoun there, but it’s important to remember that even Rob scored a spinoff. Rob! That’s how famous this family is! A highly-paid TV executive looked at the life of Rob Kardashian and said, “That’s something the public needs to see more of!” Anyway, Kim is still the most recognized member of her famous family, but it seems she’s no longer the most valuable on social media. According to People magazine, a firm called D’Marie Analytics has determined the winner in the ongoing Kim vs. Kylie feud . The firm conducted months of research and determined that Kylie is not only the highest-paid member of the Kardashian clan on social media — she also outearns every other celebrity who gets compensated in exchanging for posting sponsored content. According to D’Marie’s report, Kylie has managed “to grow her ad equivalent value to over $1,000,000 per post across her social media portfolio.” Yes, when Kylie posts an ad, she makes over a million dollars. Every. Single. Time. “Kylie is an undeniable global brand, which may make some roll their eyes,” D’Marie Analytics’ CEO, Frank Spadafora, said in a press release. “But the reality is this young, female entrepreneur’s savvy helped her reach a milestone in the influencer marketing and advertising industry which many seasoned professionals have failed to achieve.” And Spadafora says Kylie isn’t merely cashing in on her famous name. No, she’s a bonafide Instagram innovator who has the rare ability to engage with her audience to such a degree that sponsors can be assured of getting their money’s worth: “Influencer valuations move up and down like the stock market, but Kylie is methodical about consistently generating aspirational content for her social audience, without jeopardizing authenticity,” Spadafora explained. “Her use of social media to personally connect with and listen to her fans enables her to deliver products they will actually purchase. This is a true case study for how brands can greatly benefit from working with social media influencers like Kylie.” Add to that the fact that Kylie may soon be a billionaire thanks to her wildly popular cosmetics line, and you’ve got a pretty nice income for someone who can’t legally drink yet. Wealth can be hard to measure, and Kim may have accrued more in assets, but currently, no one in the family is bringing in cash quite like Kylie. All hail the queen. Source: photo: WENN After missing out on making the Hall of Fame his first go ’round, Terrell Owens has been chosen to be enshrined in that building in Canton, Ohio. However, he’s not impressed with that feat anymore. At least not enough to attend his own ceremony. In an act of defiance (and pettiness), Terrell Owens has chosen to skip his induction into the Hall of Fame for a celebration of his own according to ESPN . “While I am incredibly appreciative of this opportunity, I have made the decision to publicly decline my invitation to attend the induction ceremony in Canton,” Owens said in a statement released Thursday. “… After visiting Canton earlier this year, I came to the realization that I wish to celebrate what will be one of the most memorable days of my life, elsewhere.” Um, ok. While TO’s decision reeks of resentment and bitterness, HOF president David Baker respects Owen’s choice to not attend. “We are disappointed but will respect Terrell’s decision not to participate in the enshrinement,” Hall of Fame president David Baker said in a statement. “While unprecedented, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the nearly 5,000 volunteers and the entire community are committed to celebrating the excellence of the Class of 2018 that will kick off the NFL’s 99th season.” The ceremony will take place on August 4th in Canton, Ohio, which leaves Owen’s a lot of time to change his mind, but from the looks of things he seems ready to live with a big regret just to make a point. At least he took the time to congratulate everyone else who made it to legendary status. “I wish to congratulate all past, current and future inductees,” Owens said in the statement. “It is quite an honor to be part of such elite company. This honor is something that I will cherish forever.” It’s not too late to get over your own ego, TO. Just sayin.’
