As previously reported Ronald Gasser, the man witnesses say stood over the former NFL player’s lifeless body after a road rage shooting, was facing a second-degree murder charge. Now after Gasser was found guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter, he’s been sentenced to 30 years. NOLA.com reports that Jefferson Parish Judge Ellen Kovach sentenced Ronald Gasser to 30 years in prison for gunning down McKnight after a five-mile, mutual road rage-fueled chase. The judge also admonished both men for the incident. “Let this be a cautionary tale to all driver who rage behind the wheel of their car at other drivers,” said Kovach. “The tragedy could have been avoided if either man “had the good sense, the courage and the wisdom to simply disengage.” Gasser was facing 40 years behind bars. According to the special, Simpson had his attorney call the book’s publisher, Judith Regan, and inform her that he did indeed commit the murders, and thus, the book needed a slightly more tactful title. Sources tell TMZ that that revelation appears in a scene that was edited out of Sunday’s special for reasons that remain unclear. Simpson’s lawyer reportedly told Regan that O.J. is not concerned about his public image, but did not want his children believing that he was guilty. TMZ points out that Simpson left his wife’s nearly decapitated corpse just feet from where his children slept, and had Nicole’s dog not alerted a passerby, the kids would’ve discovered the body it in the morning. According to TMZ , Graham is 1 of 29 officers that were placed on a list that warned prosecutors to keep them off their witness stands. The list was obtained by the Philadelphia Inquirer and his name was discovered on it. Follow @TheRSMS Graham was “investigated by federal authorities for several alleged acts of corruption.” He was also the only witness during the Mill trial in 2008. Mill’s attorney said, “The list — first obtained by the Philadelphia Inquirer — states Graham was “investigated by federal authorities for several alleged acts of corruption.” Graham was the only witness in Meek’s 2008 trial. The release of the so-called ‘Do Not Testify’ list supports everything in the motions filed by Mill and others wrongfully arrested by Officer Graham for post-conviction relief.” At that time Mill was placed on probation for 10 years. In November the rapper was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison for violating probation. We will keep you updated on this story. White House Locked Down After Suicide Attempt U.S. Secret Service and FBI responded to an incident that occurred outside the White House where an unidentified man allegedly shot himself along the north fence.The death is being treated as a suicide attempt. The White House has been placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure.
