Things have been rough between Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin for a while now. Pretty much ever since they met. Sure, they were probably in love or whatever at some point — they did get married and have a baby together, after all — but things have never really been easy between them. Remember how much they would fight over anything and everything? Literally just any old thing? It was bad But although there was a lot of bad blood between them , they managed to put aside their issues last year for the sake of their son, Lincoln. At some point, it even seemed like they were forming a pretty solid friendship. Or at least they were before Briana DeJesus came into the picture. When Javi started dating Briana last fall, his relationship with Kailyn pretty much fell apart. There was drama between the two of them, and between Kailyn and Briana . Again, it was bad. Unfortunately — or let’s be real this was probably best for everyone involved — Javi and Briana broke up earlier this month . It wasn’t a terribly dramatic breakup or anything. The big issues were that he wanted to settle down and get married again, and also that she planned on getting more plastic surgery and he wasn’t cool with it. But still, they’re no longer together, and so it seems like he and Kailyn are able to tolerate each other once again. So are they tolerating each other enough to give love one more chance?! Javi appeared on Kailyn’s podcast this week, and they touched on the subject of a possible reconciliation in the future. You know, because it worked so well the first time around. “I just think that there’s a lot of history between us that neither one of us will ever let go,” Javi explained . “Even if we were to try again in the future it wouldn’t work because I know the type of person I am and the type of person she is. We argue. It just wouldn’t happen.” It’s interesting because while he admitted that things would never work out between them, he did say “if we were to try again in the future.” When are these two crazy kids going to get it together?! Kailyn confirmed that their love just is not meant to be, saying that “Javi argues out of passion. Javi is a habitual arguer and a ‘never letter goer.'” “I couldn’t have said it better,” she told him. “I don’t think we could get back together.” They both agreed that being on Teen Mom 2 definitely played a hand in the downfall of their marriage, and thankfully Javi admitted that jumping from one Teen Mom to another probably wasn’t the best idea. “I’m trying to learn from my mistakes and not repeat those mistakes so moving forward, I’m not gonna mix that,” he said. What, was he thinking about landing another Teen Mom next before he came to this realization? Should Leah Messer be on the lookout? It actually sounds like he’s still a little hung up on Briana . “I don’t know what the future holds,” he told Kailyn about his most recent ex. “There is a lot we have to discuss and talk about before we make any other decisions.” “But if we do get back together, I would hope we can all get along.” Fat chance, buddy. “It would never happen,” Kailyn replied. “We would never get along. You allowed her to disrespect me to my face, also on camera, also in text messages.” “When I said what I had to say in a nice way you defended her and not me. Of the various famous men accused of being sex monsters in recent months, many have been more famous but arguably none have been as influential as Steve Wynn. He’s a billionaire. He’s an outspoken conservative and the finance chair for the Republican National Committee. He’s a Las Vegas casino mogul. And, according to dozens of accusers, his pattern of alleged sexual misconduct goes back for decades . The Wall Street Journal reports that billionaire Steve Wynn has engaged in behaviors for years and years that create a working culture of sexual harassment. According to dozens of current and former employees of Wynn Resorts, Steve Wynn’s demands for sex from female employees came under the guise of manicures, makeup applications, and massages that were performed privately in his offices. It is there that these numerous sources say that Steve Wynn would exert pressure upon these women to engage in sex acts at his behest. The Wall Street Journal describes employees conspiring to invent fake appointments that various female coworkers might have so that they could avoid spending time alone in their CEO’s office. One woman recounted her story in which she alleges that Wynn forced her to have sex. While working as a manicurist at Wynn’s flagship casino in 2005, she says that Wynn pressured her to remove her clothing. She says that he then relentlessly pressured her to lie naked on the massage table in his office. The Wall Street Journal spoke to coworkers of hers who remember her returning to where they were, looking visibly shaken and upset, immediately after the alleged incident. That sounds like a horrifying abuse of power. The Wall Street Journal says that they were the ones who reached out to employees, not the other way around. They spoke to over 150 current and former employees in order to hear personal accounts and seek confirmation from others. We can only guess which stories they may have heard but were unable to confirm. Citing Steve Wynn’s powerful influence throughout the Las Vegas strip, most of the employees who spoke were hesitant to speak on the record, worrying that it could hurt their careers. At least one previous alleged incident with a manicurist led to a lawsuit and payout of $7.5 million. All in all, the culture described by the report is one in which some female employees would hide in the bathroom if they knew that Steve Wynn was in the building. In response to these allegations, Wynn’s company issued a lengthy statement. Interestingly, both he and his company seem to believe that this report is part of a conspiracy by his two-time ex-wife, Elain Wynn (1963-1986, 1991-2010). “The recent allegations about Mr. Wynn reflect allegations made in court hearings by Mr. Wynn’s ex-wife, Elaine Wynn.” That’s part of a statement by Wynn Resorts, which also says: “It is clear that Mr. Wynn’s ex-wife has sought to use a negative public relations campaign to achieve what she has been unable to do in the courtroom: tarnish the reputation of Mr. Wynn in an attempt to pressure a revised divorce settlement from him.” The statement also iterates that Wynn Resorts is committed to a safe workplace. Additionally, Wynn himself says that “the idea that I ever assaulted any woman is preposterous.” We don’t know what Steve Wynn’s wife Andrea Wynn (formerly Andrea Hissom) thinks of all of this, but we do know what stockholders think. Shares in Wynn Resorts fell by 5% … and then it was 8% … and then 9%. The presentation of these accusations as a smear campaign is curious, as one would imagine that it would require enlisting over 150 accomplices and also hoodwinking The Wall Street Journal , a notoriously conservative news outlet that one would imagine would take extra care when accusing one of the nation’s wealthiest Republicans. It is difficult to gauge what the fallout from this will be for Wynn, professionally. Las Vegas is not Hollywood. Like so many of her Teen Mom OG co-stars, Amber Portwood supplements her TV income with a number of side hustles. Amber has a clothing line ; she makes paid appearances, and she’s even authored a memoir. But apparently, all those side gigs aren’t paying the bills, because according to a new report from Radar Online, Amber has racked up some serious debt over the course of the past year. Fans started to take an interest in Amber’s finances after Gary Shirley revealed on a recent episode of Teen Mom OG that Amber is way behind on her child support payments. “She owes me $9,600,” Shirley told his wife Kristina Anderson. “Amber is not there. She is a come and go kind of mom. I don’t think her head is in kid mode.” During the episode, Amber claimed on Twitter that she’d made Gary rich , but it seems she’s having a bit of trouble fattening her own pockets. According to Radar, Amber owes $134,919 in back taxes and seems to have no intention of repaying her debt. She was first hit with a lien from the government back in February of 2016. Thus far, it seems she’s made no effort to get out from under that sizable debt. “There is a tax, but no release,” an official from the Clerk of Court for Madison County Court in Indiana tells Radar. These days, Amber is pregnant with Andrew Glennon’s baby , and it seems her new baby daddy isn’t a whole lot better off financially. Radar reports that Glennon was recently hit with a judgment from a collection agency for nearly $9,000. The case was reportedly settled in August, but Glennon has yet to make a payment on the outstanding debt. The sizable debts are surprising, as both Amber and Andrew have successful television careers (he’s a producer for WeTV’s Marriage Boot Camp ), and Amber’s aforementioned side jobs have reportedly been profitable. Teen Mom franchise salaries are typically in the mid-six figure range, so Amber must be doing some serious spending to land so deeply in the red. Audrey Roloff and Jeremy Roloff are perhaps the most visible couple on Little People, Big World . That’s not just because they both have the best hair in the family. It helps that they’re both very active on social media, giving fans glimpses into their lives and thoughts — even when their show is on hiatus. Jeremy posted a beautiful tribute to his wife on a very special anniversary. And he included some great throwback photos of the two of them. Jeremy and Audrey have brought so much sweetness into each other’s lives, the lives of the Roloff family, and onto the screens of fans and viewers. All of that visibility has its drawbacks, unfortunately. That means that fans can grow hostile when Audrey Roloff appears talks about her faith in order to sell something . (She’s a businesswoman and Christianity is part of her brand) It also means that Jeremy Roloff gets parent-shamed for tickling Ember Jean . (The concern comes from a good place, about children setting boundaries, but Ember Jean is a baby and Jeremy’s interactions with her are healthy) But we’re glad that Auj and Jer wade through that hefty criticism, because it means that they can share precious posts. Jeremy posted a series of throwbacks of himself with Audrey, writing: “I met my wife eight years ago today on a blind date.” That’s so sweet! A lot of people dread blind dates, but sometimes, you meet the love of your life. “It’s been a wild and unexpected eight years.” It sure has! They’re now married parents as well as reality stars. (For the record, in case you remember Audrey and Jeremy’s seven-year-old “anniversary” pic , it sounds like they didn’t start dating right away after their blind date. They’re just marking eight years since they met ) Jeremy continues his sweet tribute (among the photos in which he and Audrey look dramatically younger) by musing upon the ways in which we both do and do not decide our own destinies. “We never get to choose where we end up, our daily choices choose for us.” We believe that what he’s saying here is that you don’t end up with someone by deciding that you’ll love them for the rest of our life, but by choosing to spend time with them as you know each other. That’s harder, but ultimately that’s how life works: one day at a time. “When we are old and grey I imagine the greatest thing will be looking back at the love story we have written.” That’s so sweet! And, of course, they’re already looking back on their love story. Jeremy uses a quote to speak about the next period in his and Audrey’s lives. “For the next half: ‘if it’s half as good as the half we’ve know, then here’s hail! to the rest of the road.’ A Severe Mercy.” Very poetic and very sweet. And then he finishes his tribute: “Cheers babe! (P.S. I love this photo of you)” It’s not clear which photo he means, because he shared so many and they’re all great. And look how far they’ve come. Their daughter, Ember Jean, is precious beyond words. We imagine that we’ll get to see so much more of that little one and her parents on the new season of Little People, Big World which is apparently coming out in a few months. It’s possible that Auj hasn’t always gotten along well with her entire family, but whatever conflict there was between Audrey and Jacob Roloff seems to be resolved . As you’ve likely heard by now, Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child this week. The baby was born via surrogate at Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA early Monday morning. Kim made the announcement via her subscription-based app, but at this point, details are still relatively scarce. We know the baby is a girl, and the delivery went smoothly–but that’s about it. It might be weeks before Kim and Kanye go public with additional information, but one person who was directly involved in bringing their child into the world is speaking out … kind of. Not much is known about the surrogate hired by Kim and Kanye , and it seems that according to her contract, she’s not allowed to speak to the press. But that doesn’t mean her parents can’t speak to the press. Yes, the anonymous surrogate has contacted her mother and father, and in turn, they gave an interview to Radar Online. It might be the closest we’ll ever come to hearing from the surrogate directly. Fortunately, the parents have remained anonymous, which means the surrogate is not in violation of her agreement with Kim and Kanye. “She is doing well,” her mother tells Radar. “[Tuesday] she told me she felt fine.” Asked if there were any complications with the delivery, the surrogate’s father replied, “No, everything went well. As a matter of fact, she’s at home resting.” “She’s safe at home with her husband,” the mother added. Unfortunately, there are two matters on which the proud parents played it coy. For starters, they refused to reveal if their daughter was a fan of Kim’s before carrying the reality star’s baby. “She may have been!” her mother remarked vaguely, adding: “According to what my daughter told me, yes, they got along.” And per their daughter’s contract, the parents offered no information on how much Kim and Kanye paid for the use of her uterus. We suppose that’s okay. It’s not like we need an exact figure to tell us that the anonymous woman who had the honor of delivering the newest member of the Kardashian-West clan is now very, very wealthy. We’re not usually in the advice of giving advice to murderers, but if you’re going to kill someone, you might not want to pose in a selfie with your victim. And you definitely don’t want for that selfie to also feature the murder weapon. One such selfie was part of what led to Cheyenne Antoine’s arrest, conviction, and sentencing for the murder of her friend. Can you spot the murder weapon? Cheyenne Antoine (left) posted this selfie with Brittney Gargol (right), a photo posted to Facebook on March 15, 2015. Just hours before Brittney’s life was snuffed out forever. In the photo, Cheyenne can be seen wearing a belt. It is the same belt that police believe that Cheyenne, now 21 years old, employed to murder her 18-year-old friend. In March of 2015, Brittney Gargol’s body was found by the side of the road near a landfill in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The belt was discovered near her body. According to the Saskatoon Star Phoenix , Cheyenne employed multiple attempts to mislead investigators, including lengthy Facebook posts about being worried about her friend’s whereabouts. Cheyenne originally claimed that she and her friend Brittney parted ways during the night, with Brittney leaving with an unidentified man. Meanwhile, Cheyenne said that she herself had gone to see a friend and then gone to visit her uncle. In reality, investigators came to believe that Cheyenne, under the influence of alcohol, murdered her friend — strangling her with her belt. To be fair, the murder and the Facebook selfie weren’t Cheyenne’s only mistakes. Police were tipped off by a friend who said that Cheyenne had drunkenly confessed to the killing. Apparently Cheyenne and Brittney had gotten into an argument, and a drunk Cheyenne had ended up taking her friend’s life. Between that and photographic evidence linking Cheyenne, Brittney, and the belt, police were able to identify the killer. Cheyenne Antoine pleaded guilty and has now been sentenced to 7 years in prison. In addition to expressing remorse, Cheyenne appears to be haunted by her inability to explain what happened to Brittney Gargol’s family. Lisa Watson (picture speaking to reporters) says of Cheyenne: “She knows the family would like an explanation, a reason, but unfortunately she cannot provide that.” The crime was thoroughly senseless, even to the killer. Watson also mentions that Cheyenne was clearly dealing with personal issues, as well as substance abuse issues, which contributed to the homicide. That much is clear, though we haven’t read anything that would qualify as an excuse for the murder. Brittney Gargol surely deserved to live.
For nine years, Stacy London and Clinton Kelly starred on the fashion reality series, What Not To Wear . Sometimes, working closely with someone can lead to lifelong friendships. In others, though, it can lead to lifelong feuds. And, last November, Stacy London dramatically blocked Clinton Kelly on Twitter . But now Stacy London has made a long, vague post about forgiveness. Has she changed her tune about her former costar? Stacy London and Clinton Kelly spent a decade joined at the hip, because that was their job. They worked together, traveled together, and made appearances together both on and off of their show. In his 2017 memoir, I Hate Everyone, Except You, Clinton Kelly wrote of Stacy and of their relationship: ” I either adored her or despised her and never anything in between. ” That sounds like a lot of sibling relationships. And even like a few marriages. He also explained why he had always felt that way: ” We spent nearly 60 hours a week in captivity, rarely more than an arm’s length away from each other.” That’ll do it. “Trust me when I tell you that that is just too much time to spend with any other human being you didn’t choose of your own free will. ” That sounds like a fair description. When Stacy London dramatically blocked Clinton on Twitter, he shared it and suggested that he knew why, writing: “The tea is old. And I never spell tea unless I’m shook, which I’m not.” That’s a great line. He also used both tea and shook correctly as slang, which is really refreshing when we’re talking about a somewhat older white guy, though not surprising coming from Clinton Kelly. Now, in a lengthy post to Instagram, Stacy London wrote: “Last night, I was thinking about forgiveness. It’s very easy to say but sometimes not easy to do truthfully.” That’s true. Not everyone believes in forgiveness. Others believe that it’s theologically important, or good for their personal well-being. But it’s not easy, regardless. “If you’re like me when I’m hurt I can hold a grudge. I know the old adage: being angry or vengeful or hateful to someone because they’ve wronged you is like taking poison expecting the other person to die.” Many have said that, including the late, great Carrie Fisher. “Anger is much easier to cope with for me than sadness and pain. Being angry feels pro-active and empowering, like I’m in control of the situation.” She’s absolutely right. “But last night (and WHY last night, I’m not sure) it occurred to me that taking action like blocking people in order to feel some sense of control over other’s actions is a waste of my time.” She continues: “I can’t stop people from the way they behave. I can’t stop them from being angry with me, hurtful to me, or indifferent to me.” And she talks about how that, specifically, applies to social media. “I can block ex-friends and ex-lovers, people I feel wronged by, but to what end? For the most part, these people aren’t even looking at my accounts in the first place and even if they were, why would being able to see this highlight reel of my life matter in the slightest?” The connections to Clinton Kelly and how she famously blocked him are obvious. “Don’t get me wrong: truly hateful, sexist, misogynistic, xenophobic, homophobic, racist comments are simply not permitted on my accounts.” That is a very good boundary to set, and good advice for anyone to follow. “@luvvie taught me that social media is NOT a democracy, it’s a dictatorship only in the sense that if you write on MY page l have every right to delete or block you. Go write nasty shit on your own page.” But she makes it clear that (though she’s still not naming him) she’s not accusing Clinton Kelly of anything of the sort. “Those are not the people I’m talking about. I’m talking about those I’ve had trouble forgiving for one reason or another.” Still vague. “The problem is the more I hold on to my anger, the more I hurt, not them. And while feeling pain and sadness sucks, it’s necessary, NOT damaging.” You gotta look out for your own health, folks. “Forgiveness is something you give yourself to move on, to find peace, to let go. So I unblocked a bunch of people today. If this resonates, maybe you can too.” It’s not clear if Clinton Kelly has actually been unblocked. (Unlike who’s following whom, list of who has blocked whom are not readily visible). But … it sure sounds like she may have taken him off of her social media no-fly list. That’s progress. Ellen Pompeo is having a moment. Ellen Pompeo has actually been having a whole bunch of moments over a whole bunch of years… and she’s here to remind you about them. The veteran actress has given a very revealing interview to The Hollywood Reporter in which she delves into a number of issues, from sexism … to her future on Grey’s Anatomy… to her opinion of Patrick Dempsey. And let’s just tease the final point with this: Pompeo does not appear to think very highly of her former co-star. For starters, Pompeo said Dempsey’s decision to leave the series in 2015 was a “defining” moment for her in terms of contract negotiations. We’ll let her explain why: “[ABC] could always use him as leverage against me – ‘We don’t need you; we have Patrick’ – which they did for years,” she explains, holding nothing back and adding: “I don’t know if they also did that to him, because he and I never discussed our deals. There were many times where I reached out about joining together to negotiate, but he was never interested in that. “At one point, I asked for $5,000 more than him just on principle, because the show is Grey’s Anatomy and I’m Meredith Grey. “They wouldn’t give it to me. And I could have walked away, so why didn’t I? It’s my show; I’m the number one. I’m sure I felt what a lot of these other actresses feel: “Why should I walk away from a great part because of a guy? You feel conflicted but then you figure, “I’m not going to let a guy drive me out of my own house.'” Pretty interesting, huh? It doesn’t sound like Dempsey was interesting in joining forces with his long-time colleague. This is in opposition, let’s say, to back in the day when the entire cast of Friends refused to film unless they also received the same pay raise. Dempsey’s Derek Shepherd was eventually written off the show… but it wasn’t long until Martin Henderson was added to the cast as a new love interest. “So, what does it look like when he leaves the show?” Pompeo asks, elaborating as follows: “First, it looks like a ratings spike, and I had a nice chuckle about that. But the truth is, the ink wasn’t even dry on his exit papers before they rushed in a new guy. “I was on vacation in Sicily, decompressing – it was a long working relationship and it was a tumultuous end and I needed a moment to just chill with some rosé – and they’re calling me, going, “What do you think of this guy?” “What do you think of this guy?” “And they’re sending pictures. “I was like, “Are you people f-cking nuts? Why do you feel that you have to replace this person?” “I couldn’t believe how fast the studio and the network felt like they had to get a penis in there. We brought in Martin Henderson, but they didn’t love the storyline, so that ended.” Again: interesting stuff, huh? Through all of the many cast changes on Grey’s Anatomy, Pomeo remains. And she isn’t going anywhere any time soon: The star just signed a new, two-year deal that will pay her approximately $20 million per year. This pretty much guarantees Grey’s Anatomy will stay on the air at least through Season 16. To conclude her cover story with The Hollywood Reporter, Pompeo turned her attention to the #MeToo movement and the ongoing shift in Hollywood. She’s proud of everything going on at the moment and she hopes she can play a role in it. “I don’t believe the only solution is more women in power, because power corrupts,” says Pompeo. “It’s not necessarily a man or a woman thing. But there should be more of us women in power, and not just on Shonda Rhimes’ sets. “Look, I only have a 12th-grade education and I wasn’t a great student, but I’ve gotten an education here at Shondaland. “And now my 8-year-old daughter gets to come here and see fierce females in charge. She loves to sit in the director’s chair with the headphones on yelling “Action” and “Cut.” “She’s growing up in an environment where she’s completely comfortable with power. “I don’t know any other environment in Hollywood where I could provide that for her.
