One Direction has said goodbye where group members first said hello. Over the weekend, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan performed on the finale of The X-Factor, which is the same show on which Simon Cowell first discovered the quarter of British hunks. At the time, of course, it was a quintet of British hunks, but Zayn Malik left One Direction back in March. Soon afterward, One Direction stunned fans upon announcing that it would go on hiatus for 2016 and, very likely 2017 as well. So that made their renditions on The X-Factor of Made in the A.M. tracks “History” and “Infinity” a tad bittersweet, as they marked the final times Harry and company would be performing live for… … well, for who knows how long. Afterward, the artist jumped on social media and sent messages of gratitude to their fans. Tweeted Style: “To you, you have changed our lives and no words will ever be good enough to thank you for what we have done together.” And Payne: “Honestly thank you so much to everyone look at all the amazing things we have done together like wtf man.” And Horan: “5 of the best years of our lives so far.. Thank you all so much for your incredible support .I hope you guys realise what you've done for us.” And Tomlinson: “I hope you realise what we have all done together really is incredible. You guys have made us what we are today! We'll be back soon enough!” One Direction swears this is just a break, not a break up . But then why does it hurt so bad?!?
You can relax now, Justin Bieber . You can breathe a little easier. Because we think you’re going to like what Selena Gomez has to say here. Over the past week or so, the Internet has been on fire with talk that Gomez is dating One Direction hunk Niall Horan. The case for this budding relationship rests on Selena and Niall allegedly making out during a party in Los Angeles. And then Selena and Niall having a grand old time at an the Santa Monica Pier a short time later. What does Gomez have to say about this romantic rumor? Is she singing certain sexy notes with Horan? “Oh my god! No,” the 23-year-old singer told Entertainment Tonight at Billboard’s 10th Annual Women in Music event in New York City on Friday. But why have the stars been hanging out so much then? They are just good friends, Selena says. “I love him, I always have. He’s amazing,” she explains. Gomez continues to insist she’s single, even though she’s also been spending more time than ever with Bieber over the past several weeks. She admitted to InStyle UK recently that dating for someone in her position can be a challenge. “I hate it. It’s hard,” Gomez told the magazine. “I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has Googled me before we meet, and that has happened.” We can understand that. Remember back in February of 2014 when we asked if Selena Gomez and Niall Horan were a new couple? Let’s run that question back, shall we? According to multiple reliable outlets (People Magazine, E! News) the artists attended Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s 35th birthday bash at Bootsy Bellows on Friday night. They hung out there with fellow stars such as Ashton Kutcher, Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and Adam Levine. Oh, and they were spotted MAKING OUT!!!! E! sources say the solo artist and the One Direction member kissed, hugged and danced, while also posing together with a group of friends at the event for a photo. Earlier in the night, both Gomez and Horan took to the stage as part of 102.7 KISS-FM’s Jingle Ball 2015. Back in May of last year, Selena and Niall allegedly attended a Katy Perry concert in London and got very cozy during that concert as well. There’s a history of attraction here, folks. There’s also some history between Justin Bieber and One Direction. The superstar threw a bit of shade in the group’s direction last month prior to both sides releasing a new album on November 13. In a brief Instagram video, Bieber taunted One Direction by making a face of fear, claiming that was the face One Direction members make upon realizing their new album was going up against Bieber’s new album. Their upcoming album, titled “Made in the A.M.,” will not only be their first studio release without Zayn Malik; it will also be their last studio release before they take a lengthy hiatus .
