Earlier today, it was reported that Nick Gordon has checked into rehab following an intervention by Dr. Phil McGraw. Sources say Gordon agreed to be interviewed by Dr. Phil , not knowing that the talk show host and Gordon’s mother would persuade him to seek treatment for his various addiction issues. It was clear from the 25-year-old’s social media posts that he was increasingly distraught over the near-drowning of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious on January 31 and has yet to emerge from her coma. Many insiders have stated that her condition is a result of the drug-fueled lifestyle that she and Gordon had been living in recent months. Now, sources are claiming that Gordon was using more heavily than ever in the weeks since Bobbi was hospitalized, and that family and friends decided to intervene for fear that he would suffer a similar fate. “Nick was taking Xanax and drinking gallons of Jack Daniel’s,” one insider tells Radar Online. He reportedly checked into rehab on Thursday, and his treatment will be entirely paid for by the Dr. Phil show. Gordon threatened suicide on Twitter the day before his sit-down with McGraw, and his recent online rants seemed to indicate that he was often under the influence. It was reported last week that Nick Gordon is under investigation for possible involvement in the near-drowning of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Sources say police began to take an interest in Gordon after doctors reported finding injuries on Bobbi Kristina’s face and mouth. Shortly thereafter, insiders claimed that Bobbi Kristina had been planning to leave Gordon in the weeks before she was found unconscious, and that the couple was the subject of a 911 call days before the near-fatal incident. So it’s not hard to see why investigators have taken an interest in Gordon, the problem is, Gordon has reportedly been avoiding them by whatever means necessary. “At this point, Nick hasn’t been interviewed, and is under no obligation to do so,” one source tells Radar Online. The insider adds that police “very much want to talk to Nick for obvious reasons,” but he’s been informed by his legal team that he can’t be forced to talk to police unless they place him under arrest. Bobbi Kristina’s family reportedly believes that he played some role in her near-drowning. They have banned Gordon from the home he shared with Bobbi , and they may have prevented him from visiting her in the hospital. Though Gordon claimed to be legally married to Bobbi, it now looks as though that was not actually the case. He may still stand to benefit from her will, however, which is just one of the many reasons he remains a suspect in the eyes of Bobbi’s family.

The Bobbi Kristina Brown case has resulted in a criminal investigation, with authorities focused on foul play and specifically, the role of her “husband” Nick Gordon. One week ago, Brown was discovered face down in the bathtub by Gordon and friend Max Lomas. She has been in a medically induced coma since. Her family then reportedly had Nick Gordon banned from seeing her at the hospital, which was followed by an interesting revelation from Bobby Brown. According to her famous father, Bobbi Kristina Brown is not married to Nick and never was, despite her claims to have wed her “husband” in 2014. Husband or not, according to TMZ, and citing law enforcement sources, Bobbi Kristina was found with certain injuries that have piqued their interest. The nature and extent of those injuries is not known, but the history of violence between Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon is also a topic of concern. Police are looking into the possibility that there may have been an altercation more than an hour before Bobbi was found in the tub at her Georgia home. Contrary to previous reports, it was friend Max Lomas (also an alleged drug dealer), who found Bobbi Kristina submerged, not her husband/boyfriend. He is believed to have arrived at their residence around 9 a.m. last Saturday. He says he hung out with Nick Gordon but did not see Bobbi Kristina. When the cable guy said he needed access to the bedroom, Max took him in there as well, and at that point, discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub. Lomas screamed for Nick, who ran in and administered CPR; Bobbi Kristina was taken to the hospital by paramedics but hasn’t regained consciousness. Her family continues to hold out hope for a miracle, but that’s what it would take at this point, as doctors say Bobbi Kristina’s prognosis is grim . Amid the tragic reports that she may be taken off life support any day now, police are digging deeper into what happened that fateful morning. Sources say Max, in an interview with police, claimed that Nick allegedly cleaned up the home and removed blood stains for reasons unknown. Investigators interviewed both Max and Nick and want to debrief Max again, though his lawyer reportedly insists on immunity before he speaks again. As of this report, Max Lomas hadn’t received immunity or talked to police a second time, while Nick Gordon has reportedly retained his own attorney. After the late Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in the tub and hospitalized Saturday, many questions have arisen. Like her mother before her, Bobbi Kristina Brown has battled substance abuse in the past, but it’s unclear exactly what landed her in the hospital. She is currently under a medically-induced coma, but breathing. Beyond that, her condition and what factors led to it remain unclear at this time. A drug-related search came up empty in her home, reports say, but a family source knows outsiders will point the finger at her husband, Nick Gordon. “He’ll be the bad guy again,” the source said, adding that from the start of their romance, “Nick knew that a lot of the family weren’t fans of his .” “He sort of kept her away from some of her family because he didn’t want them to say bad things about him to [Bobbi]. It’s not exactly his fault.” Nick, who’s often referred to as Bobbi Kristina’s stepbrother, was raised as part of Whitney Houston’s family but never formally adopted by her. He was infamous for not getting along with members of Houston’s family, particularly the late singer’s mother, Cissy Houston. The source continued: “Everyone had a preconceived notion about him, and it wasn’t always fair. But he didn’t do himself any favors.
