Ticket Sales For Nicki Minaj & Future’s NICKIHNDRXX Tour Reportedly “In The Toilet”

Source: Alexander Tamargo / Getty Via | HipHopDX After fans were blitzed with the revelation that the  NICKIHNDRXX Tour  North American leg was canceled, a reason has surfaced and it appears general engagement is to blame.  According to PageSix , ticket sales are “in the toilet” and the tour is in danger of being canceled by its promoter Live Nation. “Nicki’s tour could be the most disappointing ticket sales of the year for any artist,” a Live Nation source said. “These are big arenas with up to 20,000 capacities. Sales for opening night in Baltimore is 2,000 tickets. L.A. is 3,400, New Orleans 1,000, Denver 1,300, Chicago 3,900. Even her hometown Brooklyn is only 5,050.” READ MORE

TMZ captured Nicki as she was making her grand entrance at Radio City Music Hall , and Kylie was walking in her direction from the other end when she stopped dead in her tracks after spotting Nicki.

Due to the delay, Future  will no longer join her for the US dates (once they’re rescheduled for 2019). Live Nation said in the statement, “Following her unforgettable VMA performance, Nicki Minaj has decided to reevaluate elements of production on the NickiHndrxx Tour. The outing will now kick off in Europe this coming February as planned. Nicki has decided to contribute more time to rehearsal ahead of the tour’s launch to make certain her fans get the absolute best quality show that they deserve. Due to scheduling conflicts Future will not be on the North American run. Nicki Minaj will be announcing new North American dates to kick off in May 2019. Refunds for the previously scheduled North American dates will be available at point of purchase, with new Nicki Minaj on-sale details announced soon.” The “Barbie Dreams” rapper also addressed the switch on Instagram, apologizing to fans while guaranteeing it will all “be worth it.” On Tuesday, August 21,  PageSix  reported that according to their sources, the NickiHNDRXX tour was in danger of being canceled because tickets “aren’t flying off the shelves.” Do you plan on attending the show when it hits your city? Sheila D Gets Raw On “Ratchet Royalty” Firstly, Sheila D Yeah has been doing her thing musically for a minute and she’s dope. The Baltimore native took her talents to L.A. where she ran into a few hiccups, but it hasn’t stopped her from living out her musical dreams. On her latest release “ Ratchet Royalty “, the lyricist discusses her struggles as a single mother — very different content from what’s popping with women rappers today. Sheila includes a voicemail from an aggy A&R on the intro of the EP, and dude straight up tells her no one wants to work with her because she had a baby. “Unfortunately [inaudible] has lost interest. The concern is, and this is probably why she has never gone anywhere…she’s a mother, she has a kid and there’s no father in the picture. If you look a billboard Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Cardi…they don’t have kids. Cardi B may be pregnant but she can do that…Everyone is not interested because she has a child.” It starts at the 1:00 mark: Wow, do you think it’s a fair or foul decision to not sign a contract with someone because they are a mother??? From  Drake , to Lil Wayne , to  Nicki Minaj , he has more than a solid track record in grooming many of the top artists to have successful careers in today’s game. In more recent times days, we’ve seen stories of him holding back some of the industry’s most anticipated albums and allegedly not paying his artists what they’re due. While this drama has tarnished his legacy of the moment, it’s no secret that he will still go down as one of the all-time greats of the music biz. Now, since Drake and Lil Wayne seem to be moving away from their Cash Money ties, Baby might be looking to start fresh on the West Coast by recruiting a fresh crop of talent for a new leg of his label. Introducing….Cash Money West. Birdman now has a brand new venture that he’s taking care of, already having signed his first artist. The music mogul posted a photo on Instagram with Wack 100 , posted up with his new artist, Saviii 3rd . It’s obvious from the photo that the Long Beach native is happy to be apart of the brand new Cash Money West imprint. It will be interesting to see where this next venture goes.

Is it me or does every song that Ariana Grande sing sound the same? Anyway, here is the new Nicki Minaj tune and I guess it sucks. I don’t know anymore every song is crap on the radio. I must be getting old because this all sounds like computer generated sounds mashed up together. Is this even music?
