Bruce’s attorneys claimed the police were too quick to charge their client and lacked any physical evidence. But United States prosecutors say fellow guests heard screams emanating from the couple’s room and that detectives subsequent discovered blood spatter in the bathroom and in other areas of the room. The ex- Survivor producer has been behind bars in Los Angeles, but will soon be moved to Mexico. He faces up to 30 years in prison if found guilty.

Lady Gaga , Coldplay , Nicki Minaj , the Black Eyed Peas , Alicia Keys , Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler are just some of the acts set to appear at the inaugural I Heart Radio fest, scheduled for September 23 and 24 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. They’ll be joined on the bill by the likes of Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Lopez , David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson and John Mayer (to name just a few). Organizers promise that even more artists will be added to the bill as the summer stretches on. The eternally busy Ryan Seacrest will host the event, which will stream live online and via mobile devices at IHeartRadio.com, and across the websites of all Clear Channel-owned radio stations. If you’d prefer to be there in person, you can get a first crack at tickets by liking I Heart Radio on Facebook . Nicki Minaj’s cousin was killed yesterday in Brooklyn, New York. The rapper announced the news on Twitter with no details as to how or why the murder happened. However, Radar Online is reporting that Nicholas Telemaque, 27, was shot to death and that they believe it could be a case of ‘mistaken identity.’ His cousin Carol Clarke said, “He was shot in the chest as he walked towards his car close to his home. Nicki is absolutely devastated as are all our family – she was very close to her cousin but now he has gone. She has reached out to Nicholas’ mom Victoria to offer her words of comfort but she is too distraught. Nicholas was a quiet person but he could be the life and soul of the party too – he did not run with gangs or anything like that. “His friends have told us there wasn’t any trouble that night and we believe it could have been a case of mistaken identity but the police are still investigating the case. My precious cousin. My baby. Killed last nite,” Nicki tweeted , along with a photo of Telemaque. The Harajuku Barbie also wrote , “My cousin Nicholas. Also goes by Juse, or @brolicalcoholic. Murdered. Last nite. Near his home. Brooklyn, NY,” and attached another pic. Yesterday Minaj spent Independence Day performing in Winnipeg, Canada, as part of Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour and also celebrated the birthday of her rumored boyfriend, hypeman Safaree “SB” Samuels, to whom she tweeted a b-day message: “HappyBirthdaySB!!!!!!!! @scaffbeezy hope u like ya gift coon!!!!” Since tweeting about her cousin’s death, Minaj hasn’t sent any subsequent messages out through the social networking site as of this writing. On Monday, July 4, at approximately 2:40 a.m. ET, police responded to a call in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, where they found Telemaque, 27, with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso region. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The New York Daily News reported that Telemaque had just left C-PAC nightclub, just blocks from his home, when he was shot. Following the all-girl remix featuring Nicki Minaj and the song’s writer, Ke$ha , this new version of the Femme Fatale single gets some love in the club from Kells. On the new mix, after Brit sings the first verse and the chorus, Kelly comes in singing, “Slide up in this club/ This beat’s got me in love/ Till I just don’t care/ It’s like I’m walking on air/ It’s a party right here.” He then goes on about partying till the world ends, his Auto-tuned vocals dancing over the track until the song’s breakdown, where he mixes his vocals with Spears’. Toward the song’s end, Kelly does some vocal runs over the song’s chorus as it plays out, keeping with the integrity of the Dr. Luke-produced track.
