Mama Said Knock You Out! Floyd Mayweather Jr. Beats Robert Guerrero And Keeps Welterwelt Championship Belt

Congrats to the money team ! Floyd Mayweather Jr. Beats Robert Guerrero Via SI reports: The defense was back, just like it used to be. Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s dad was back, too, just like he used to be. And Mayweather was a winner once again – just like he always is. Mayweather fought as if he had never left the ring, coming back from a year’s absence Saturday night to win a unanimous 12-round decision over Robert Guerrero in their welterweight title fight. The game plan was defense, and Mayweather followed it perfectly. With his father directing from the corner after a 13-year absence, he dominated Guerrero in a performance not totally expected at the age of 36. “I needed my father tonight,” Mayweather said. “My defense was on point and he told me to stick with my defense and that the less you get hit the longer you last.” Mayweather was masterful at times, landing thudding right hands and bloodying Guerrero’s face in a performance that mimicked some of his best fights. Mayweather hurt Guerrero on several occasions, including a series of right hands near the end of the eighth round that buckled Guerrero’s knees. All three judges scored the bout 117-111. The Associated Press had it 119-109. “We did it again,” Mayweather said after earning at least $32 million for his night’s work. “I take my hat off to Robert Guerrero. He’s a true warrior.” If it wasn’t terribly pleasing to the crowd of 15,880, it was terribly effective. Mayweather made a fighter who hadn’t lost in eight years look befuddled as he danced and moved and shot out right hands with increasing frequency. He remained unbeaten in 44 fights and, more importantly, looked so fresh that he may follow through on his plan to fight again in September. “I was looking for the knockout but I hurt my hand,” Mayweather said. “I feel bad I didn’t give the fans the knockout.” Did you watch the fight? Minka Kelly to Star in 50 Shades of Grey?

Is Minka Kelly the perfect choice for the role of Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey? She’s the latest sexy actress to be rumored for the coveted part. The former Friday Night Lights star has supposedly caught the casting director’s eye, which is not a shock given her gorgeous eyes, lips, and body. Can she act well enough to command that kind of part, though? Her FNL role gives her plenty of cred, as it was one of the best shows ever. But she also hasn’t done all that much since, beyond date Derek Jeter and be hot. There are also a ton of other names under consideration for Ana Steele, some of whom bring more star power than Minka, and others who bring less. Minka may be the kind of girl every guy wants, and every girl wants to be, but is that enough when it comes to a movie part of this magnitude? You tell us: Minka Kelly as Ana Steele?   YES! She’d be perfect! Not my first choice, but I could see it … Gosh no. Not a good fit for the role whatsoever! View Poll »

Chris Kelly Death: Cocaine, Heroin Suspected in Police Report

Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly had been using a combination of cocaine and heroin before his death Wednesday, according to a new report. According to police, officers responded to Kelly’s home yesterday afternoon and found the 34-year-old lying unresponsive on the living room couch. Doctors pronounced Chris Kelly dead after paramedics arrived at the scene and found “no life signs,” then attempted to revive Kelly, to no avail. Kelly’s friend, Donna, told officers that the night before, the rapper had taken a mixture of heroin and cocaine, commonly known as “speedballs.” Donna told responding officers that she had taken Kelly home to recover from the drug use, and that she had done this “several times in the past.” Kelly reportedly felt nauseous all morning before passing out.

WATCH: Shot-For-Shot ‘Iron Man 3’ Parody Kicks Shiny Metal Ass

From Thailand, by way of the website Kotaku, comes this Sweded shot-for-shot remake of the Iron Man 3 trailer that , frankly would have made Michel Gondry’s Be Kind Rewind a better movie. My favorite scenes are the one in which the Tony Stark stand-in gets a toilet plunger for an oxygen mask in the operating room,  the falling Air Force One flight attendants and the shots of Stark’s iron army assembling in the night sky. I laugh every time the blue Iron Man hovers then makes a beeline for the camera. Check it out below: Iron …Man, That’s A Parody! I’m a belieber from Norway and I thought it was time to share my…

Original post:

I’m a belieber from Norway and I thought it was time to share my Bieber experience with you guys! I’ve been a fan for so long, but since I like to say that I live in Narnia, it’s been hard to get to see him. The first time I saw Justin was when he came to Oslo for his promo tour, which was last year on May 30. I guess you all know how crazy that turned out, with all the boats and everything. Nobody knew that us Norwegian beliebers were that crazy, so we surprised a lot of people all around the world! It was a free concert so of course many people were going to show up. Therefore I did everything to get VIP bracelets so I could sit as close as the stage as possible! The day before the concert I finally got them. My sister and I won them at a hotel in town and it was such an amazing feeling! Justin where performing on a scene on the water, and we were as close as we could be. The performance was amazing, the night was so fun and Oslo literally got turned upside down with the Bieber crew in the city. I will never forget that day. I have to say that it’s amazing to see Oslo in the AATW music video. Then almost a year later it was time for a new Bieber adventure. Believe Tour came to Oslo on April 16th 2013. In July, my sister and I were lucky enough to buy the best tickets, which included meet and greet passes, diamond circle tickets and merchandise. When we were waiting in the meet and greet line, Dan Kanter and Nick Demoura came by. I got up and spoke to them, and they were so nice. I was really looking forward to meet Justin, but in the same way, I didn’t have any big expectations because I’d heard that the meetings would go by very fast. I know that security has to do their job, I just wish they could’ve been more sympathetic and treat us like human beings. Even though I didn’t manage to say or do what I wanted to do, the seconds I had with Justin meant the world to me. When I got in and saw him, he looked so magical and unreal. His skin and tattoos were literally shining. I’ve never seen someone that beautiful. He smiled and said “hi” to me, and I wanted to ask for a hug but the security forced me to just stand next to him and get the picture over with. He put his arm around my shoulder and I was freaking out inside! After the picture was taken, Justin turned to me and said, “You can stay if you want!” with his sexy voice. I think he said that because he saw that I was upset about the short time, and how the security treated me. I didn’t get time to do anything because the security literally carried me out again. Afterwards I decided to think positive and I started to realize how lucky I really was! I know that Justin care about his fans no matter what, and he showed me that too and that was the sweetest thing. It was a night with a lot of emotions, but my dream came true that night. When I came in to the concert I met Lisa, another security who works with Justin, and who was also at the M&G. I thought it was a nice chance to tell her about how I experienced the other security. She was so supporting and nice to me, and said that she would talk about it to them. I hope that helped a little so they can treat fans a little nicer. The concert were totally amazing, words don’t exist that can explain how fantastic it was. I had the perfect view and Justin was perfect as always. I really had the time of my life. I am so grateful for what I have experienced and I can’t believe that I have been so close to the boy I love. I love Justin with all my heart and will always. I really hope I get the chance to see him again soon, I can never get enough of this boy!  -Julianne (@Julistraa)   Continued here: I’m a belieber from Norway and I thought it was time to share my…

Jesus Take The Wheel: Daughter Finds Out Mother Is Among The 230 Dead In Bangladesh Building Collapse

Pray for the people in Bangladesh ! Daughter Finds Out Mother Is Among The Dead In Primark Factory Disaster According to Mail Online Bangladeshi rescue workers are continuing their increasingly desperate search for survivors in a collapsed clothes factory building where workers made cheap clothes for Primark. Hundreds were killed when the eight-story Rana Plaza in Savar on the outskirts of Dhakar collapsed yesterday, the day after cracks were seen in its walls. The death toll continues to rise and currently stands at more than 230. Forty people have been pulled alive from the rubble today. Many of those working in the building at the time were young women, while some of those killed and injured are bound to be children as the building also housed a crèche. Around 2,000 people have so far been pulled out alive. Doctors at local hospitals said they were unable to cope with the number of victims arriving from the disaster site. This afternoon workers still trapped could be heard crying out for help as firefighters and soldiers using drilling machines and cranes struggled to reach them. Officials say police had ordered the building evacuated on Tuesday, the day before its deadly collapse, after deep cracks became visible in its walls. But the factories flouted the order and managers ordered their staff to keep working. Some survivors have said they were threatened with the sack if they refused to enter the building. After the cracks were reported, managers of a local bank that also had an office in the building evacuated their workers. The garment factories, though, kept working, ignoring the instructions of the local industrial police, said Mostafizur Rahman, a director of that paramilitary police force. The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association had also asked the factories to suspend work starting on Wednesday morning, hours before the collapse. ‘After we got the crack reports, we asked them to suspend work until further examination, but they did not pay heed,’ said Atiqul Islam, the group’s president. Today the smell of rotting bodies wafted through holes cut into the building. Junior minister for Home Affairs, Shamsul Haque, said a total of 2,000 people had so far been rescued from the wreckage. Brigadier General Mohammed Siddiqul Alam Shikder, who is overseeing army rescue teams, said the death toll had climbed to 194. Dozens of bodies, their faces covered, were laid outside a local school building so relatives could identify them. Thousands of workers’ family members gathered outside the building, waiting for news, as thousands of garment workers from nearby factories took to the streets across the industrial zone in protest. General Shikder said rescue operations were progressing slowly. He said rescue teams were standing by with heavy equipment and would ‘start bulldozing the debris once we get closer to the end of the operation. ‘But now we are careful,’ he added He also said the size of the crowd was interfering with getting more rescuers to the scene. ‘We are ready with about 1,000 soldiers and rescue workers from other departments. But a huge crowd is obstructing our effort,’ he said. Searchers worked through the night to probe the jumbled mass of concrete with drills or their bare hands, passing water and flashlights to people pinned inside. Sumi, a 25-year-old worker who goes by one name, said she was sewing jeans on the fifth floor with at least 400 others when the building fell. ‘It collapsed all of a sudden,’ she said. ‘No shaking, no indication. It just collapsed on us.’ She said she managed to reach a hole in the building where rescuers pulled her out. Survivor Shaheena Akhter, 23, said: ‘Some of us did not want to work fearing something might happen, but the garment factory people told us that we had to join our work otherwise we will lose our jobs.’ Abdul Halim, an official with the engineering department in Savar, said the owner was originally allowed to construct a five-story building but he added another three stories illegally. Local police chief Mohammed Asaduzzaman said police and the government’s Capital Development Authority have filed separate cases of negligence against the building owner. Habibur Rahman, police superintendent of Dhaka district, identified the owner as Mohammed Sohel Rana, a local leader of ruling Awami League’s youth front. Mr Rahman said police were also looking for the owners of the garment factories. Among the textile businesses in the building were Phantom Apparels, New Wave Style, New Wave Bottoms and New Wave Brothers. Primark’s ethical trade team is working to collect information, assess which communities the workers come from and provide support ‘where possible’, the company said. Charles Kernaghan, executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, which has an office in Dhaka, says his staff are investigating. ‘You can’t trust many buildings in Bangladesh,’ Mr Kernaghan said. ‘It’s so corrupt that you can buy off anybody and there won’t be any retribution.’ Do you think the owner of the garment factory is to blame for threatening the factory workers’ jobs if they did not work? WATCH: More Proof That Joseph Gordon-Levitt Would Be Great In ‘Guys And Dolls’

I’m not as jazzed as everyone else seems to be about Deadline’s report that 20th Century Fox is developing a remake of Guys and Dolls.    It was a great movie, but unless it gets a serious update in the writing department, I think it’s too broad and antiquated to connect with contemporary audiences on a mass level. On the other hand, I totally agree that if the movie’s going to have a serious shot at making it,  Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are about the best casting choices the studio could make.  (I’m expecting to hear Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway’s names added to the mix any minute now, too. By now, you’ve been reminded of Tatum and Gordon-Levitt’s fleet-footed performance on the Oscars earlier this year, but here’s further proof that JGL is a serious song and dance man. Gordon-Levitt paid homage to Donald O’Connor’s great “Make’em Laugh” performance from the 1952 MGM musical Singin’ In The Rain  when he hosted Saturday Night Live in 2009.  Check him out below: Make ’em Gasp If you don’t think that was difficult, keep in mind O’Connor spent a week recuperating from carpet burns and plain old exhaustion after shooting the original and admittedly more strenuous version: Top This Top that, Tatum. This Week in Page 3 Girls of the Day

Here are some Page 3 girls for this week, so far. We’ve got Rosie Jones on April 22. We’ve got Danni Wells on the 23. We’ve got Rosie Jones again on the 23. We’ve got Emily O’Hara on the 24. We’ve go no one for Monday or Friday. We’ve got an asshole blogger who doesn’t care about these glamour models with daddy issues posing topless for attention to be low level stars in the UK in a shoot that was probably done over the course of a day last year for the year, making these titties not as current as they pretend to be based on the date of the paper, but you know what, they are still tits and for that they deserve our attention, just not our respect.
