Source: Splash News / Splash News The Late Night Host Believes She Has The Chops It was only a matter of time before Cardi B ‘s political rants gained the support of the masses, sparking a revolutionary movement that will impeach Trump and destroy white supremacy everywhere. Well, that has happened quite yet. But at least Cardi has Stephen Colbert ‘s vote. The late night talk show host is campaigning for Cardi to deliver her own address after Donald Trump ‘s State of the Union address. On Wednesday night, Colbert tweeted, “I am starting a petition for the Democrats to let @iamcardib give the rebuttal to the SOTU. Sign it by retweeting this! — Stephen Colbert (@StephenAtHome) January 24, 2019   According to Newsweek, Trump tweeted on Wednesday that he’ll postpone his State of the Union address until after the partial government shutdown is over. However, it seems Colbert is planning ahead. His tweet supporting Cardi has already received over 22,000 retweets as of Thursday morning. The not-too-shabby numbers have the potential to grow if the Cardi stans do their thing. Granted, we doubt the Dems have the balls to let a real one like Cardi represent them. But hey, this could be the start of an amazing skit featuring Cardi on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.  Cardi has already shown she has the chops to go against political naysayers. On Tuesday, Cardi clapped back at conservative TV host Stephanie Hammill when she tried to shame Cardi’s twerking in her “Twerk” music video with City Girls.  “In the Era of #meToo how exactly does this empower women,” Hammill tweeted. “Leftists, @iamcardib , feel free to chime in. THX ..” Cardi responded to the caucasity tenacity by tweeting, “It says to women that I can wear and not wear what ever I want. do w.e I want and that NO still means NO. So Stephanie chime in..If I twerk and be half naked does that mean I deserve to get raped and molested ? If you’ve seen Unbreakable and Split then you’re more than ready for Glass . The new movie from M Night Shyalaman that hits theaters this Friday, January 18th, 2019 that focuses on Mr. Glass the villain from Unbreakable who believes that superheroes live amongst us. In this world, we start with Unbreakable’s security guard turned real-life superhero “The Overseer” David Dunn on the hunt for The Beast, one of Kevin Wendell Crumb twenty-four personalities. The mentally disturbed man has four women held hostage and the only person strong enough to stop him is The Overseer. Events happen that get the Overseer and The Beast in the same mental facility as Elijah Price the man known as Mr. Glass, who takes credit for turning David Dunn into a superhero by creating numerous tragic accidents to find his guy. I sat down with James McAvoy and Samuel L Jackson to talk about their new film, Glass. During our conversation, we talked about reprising their roles, found out how James goes from character to character, as well as some backstory for Patricia and Dennis. We even had a little bit of fun and talked about the Drake vs Kanye beef. I asked Samuel L Jackson if he saw any of Kanye West multi-day twitter rant about Drake and Sam lit up saying, “I see it, I don’t think about it. It’s not part of my world, I just look at it like these kids are doing what these kids are doing. Hopefully, it’s just a twitter beef. It ain’t going to be anything real. It’s not like the old days when they run into each other in the club somewhere and they gonna throw down. Neither one of them is going to fight.” James McAvoy said he doesn’t really do twitter so he missed Kanye’s rant but he did stay beneath Drake when he was filming “It 2” In Toronto. “There were nights when we were really excited about it and we would listen to see ‘is that him walking around up there? Is he doing his little dance? I was like oh my God. For five months I was in that town, living beneath him and I never saw him once. We shared an elevator dude, and I never met him once.” Fun stuff but you guys really gotta hear him talk about how he pulled off playing twenty characters from the transitions to the body language of it all. Glass is a really good film that builds one of the best universes in cinema. Check it out everything this Friday. I had the honor of hosting a VIP screening of Glass for some of New York’s coolest kids from Pop Vasquez, Yarisbeth, Weezy from Whorible Decisions and more.

Source: Jeff Kravitz / Getty This is crazy! According to Deadline , Eddie Murphy is set to reprise his role as Prince Akeem for a sequel to the 1988 classic Coming To America ! Here’s the synopsis: In the sequel, Akeem learns about a long lost son, and must return to America to meet his unlikely heir to the throne of Zamunda. What Murphy and director Craig Brewer are hoping is that the original cast from Arsenio Hall to James Earl Jones, John Amos and Shari Headley all return to reprise their roles from the original. “After many years of anticipation, I’m thrilled that Coming to America 2 is officially moving forward,” Murphy said in a statement. “We’ve assembled a great team that will be led by Craig Brewer, who just did an amazing job on Dolemite, and I’m looking forward to bringing all these classic and beloved characters back to the big screen.” I don’t know how it’s going to work but it’s supposed to work? There’s no word on production but filmmakers are hoping for 2019. Brewer directed Murphy in his upcoming role as Rudy Ray Moore in the biopic, My Name Is Dolemite . Even weirder than that is the fact Kim Kardashian has been in the spotlight for even longer, partying with the likes of Paris Hilton . And still, nothing beats the revelation that Kim and her now-husband Kanye West knew one another long before they actually ended up getting together and tying the knot; Saying that their romance was a long time coming is an understatement. Even though we’ve seen Kimberly and her family since the early days of their show, it’s still shocking to look at some throwbacks every once in a while and see how the 1% used to live in the days before reaching their ultimate level of fame. That’s where Kim comes in. We can always count on the queen of selfies to post some good pictures, but sometimes, a good throwback gives us more than a new picture ever could, especially if it comes with a good story. On Wednesday night, a fan tweeted out an old picture of Kim, saying that she’d love to see her bring back the Juicy Couture sweatsuits and that Louis Vuitton multicolor bag. The Kardashian sister wrote about the day this photo was taken, revealing that the picture was taken when she was on her way to a shoot to meet none other than Kanye West. Even more iconic and generally unknown: Kim met Kanye’s mother Donda , and this was the night that happened, too. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan told a jubilant crowd of her plans while in Washington… The cry for impeachment set off a series of reactions from unnerved Democrats who think Rashida has too much dip on her chip, and Republicans who vow to use it as proof that Democrats are playing politics with the fate of the President. Married at First Sight Premiere: Who Got Hitched?

Eight people. Four couples. One ridiculous reality show that craps all over the sacred concept of marriage. Yup: Married at First Sight returned with new episodes on Tuesday night! On yesterday’s Season 8 premiere, viewers met  Kate Sisk and Luke Cuccurullo , the former of whom s just dying to fall in love and the latter of whom runs a speed dating company. So he’s frequently around new couples and is familiar with the world of meeting someone and quickly trying to establish a connection with this person. Both parties were psyched to exchange vows. On his wedding day, Luke realized that a woman in the crowd actually attended one of his speed dating events. Then, when Kate headed down the aisle, he whispered to his groomsmen that he had actually met this woman before. Weird, right? But also all we know for now, as Luke looked concerned over this revelation, yet fans will need to wait until next week to see if he’s happy with his decision to marry Kate. We now turn to Jasmine McGriff and Will Guess . McGriff was unable to fully enjoy her nuptials because her family disapproved of this entire process. They were very traditional and, understandably, acted aghast that Jasmine was actually going through with marrying someone she just met. She was overwhelmed. She was stressed. She was questioning her decision-making process… … and then she met Guess. Almost immediately, newlyweds were each cracking jokes and laughing at the absurdity what they were doing; it all felt very natural. “I could see myself falling in love with Jasmine,” Will said. Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller , for their part, were both quite energetic and ready to find love. On papter, therefore, they seemed like a great match. Heck, Stephanie even admitted right away that she’d be “devastated” if it didn’t work out… which is somewhat crazy when you consider the set-up here. When the two finally met, Stephanie realized she had never dated someone as outgoing as AJ and said his “enthusiasm is really cute.” The new husband and wife spent the evening talking their affection for partying and drinking, so they seemed to be hitting things off well. We’ll see if it lasts. Finally, we arrive at Keith Dewar and Kristine Killingsworth . One (Keith) is an introvery and the other (Kristine) is rather conservative, so they felt that it was important to let loose before their wedding at their bachelor and bachelorette parties. They just had to get it all out, you know? “I would love somebody to pull me out of this little funk that I’m in,” Keith said, not exactly inspiring confidence that he’s prepared for marriage. In the end, both spouses-to-be drank a lot of alcohol and enjoyed their friends – and a few strippers – the night before they were tied down. For life? Or just for a few weeks? We’ll be tuning in this season to find out!

Kevin Spacey Sexual Assault: There’s a Video!

Kevin Spacey recently got mocked for one video. But he may soon go to jail for another. As previously reported in disturbing detail, Spacey has been charged with felony sexual assault . Yes, felony sexual assault. This development has taken place just over a year since Netflix fired the Oscar winner from House of Cards due to other complaints it had received about his behavior on set, along with an accusation of sexual misconduct against Spacey from several years ago. This new charge, however, stems from an alleged incident in 2016 during which an 18-year old aspiring actor says Spacey groped him at a Nantucket bar. In response to the allegation, Spacey got extra weird and creepy by posting the footage below… … of himself broadly refusing the claim while pretending to be his House of Cards character Frank Underwood: Kevin Spacey Gets Charged With Felony Sexual Assault, Responds as Frank Underwood in Bizarre Video Now, however, police say they have a Snapchat video of the interaction between Spacey and his alleged victim, courtesy of the victim filming what transpired back in the day. The victim was working as a busboy at the Club Car establishment at the time and told Spacey he was 23 and studying business at Wake Forest, according to a criminal complaint filed in Nantucket District Court. A short while after meeting, he says Spacey bought him a number of alcoholic drinks. He also says Spacey bragged to him about the size of his penis — and then attempted to get the busboy to go back to his house afterward. Later this same evening, standing near a piano together, the teenager details how Spacey unzipped his pants and rubbed his penis for about three minutes. TMZ reports that Spacey’s lawyers are arguing that prosecutors should be barred from pursing charges because the busboy did not report the incident to authorities the night it happened. The attorneys say he wasn’t interviewed in person for more than a year. Spacey’s legal team also states that the victim was drunk and may have blacked out and didn’t object during the three minutes of groping. “That’s an incredibly long time to have a strange man’s hands in your pants, correct?” one of the actor’s lawyers said to a judge in court last week. Per his legal complaint, though, the victim says he was afraid to report the incident because he was underage and had been drinking. He also says he did try to shift his body away from Spacey, inside of a very crowded bar… but the actor continued to reach down his pants. The updated part of this story is that the alleged victim sent his girlfriend a Snapchat video during the encounter. However, Spacey’s attorney says all it shows is someone’s hand touching another person’s shirt, not any sort of illegal or unwanted groping. After this touching took place, Spacey got up to go to the bathroom; the busboy left the bar. While on his way home, Spacey texted him, “I think we lost each other,” and the busboy did not respond, the complaint reads. For the record, and for whatever it is worth, allegations in the complaint match those of Heather Unruh, a former TV news anchor in Boston who said at a press conference last year that her son had been sexually assaulted by the star. Spacey faces a charge of indecent assault and battery, Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe said on Monday. He is scheduled to be arraigned on January 7. No matter the outcome, his career is very much over.
