Nikki ditched the crew and went back to Hollywood because she was over the drama. Paris, Bridget Kelly, Teairra, La’Britney and messy Brooke end up on a boat tour, but Moniece is nowhere to be found. Moniece isn’t really vibing with Brooke and she also isn’t vibing with Teairra. Speaking of the latter, the core of the episode is about questioning Teairra Mari and the validity of her sex tape claims because there’s something really fishy going on, but hold that thought. Back in the US, we find Apple working on her relationship with her formerly absent father. Apple asks him for advice about working with Shun Love. Why? Who knows, but anyway, Papa Apple seems mighty interested in what Apple is doing the minute she mentions that she is considering signing a contract with Shun Love. He all of a sudden wants to play the overprotective role 20 or 30-something years later, and claims he wants to talk to Shun before she signs anything to secure his own bag “protect her.” Apple emphatically tells her father not to say anything to Shun and that she’ll get a lawyer (aka a professional) to address her concerns if necessary, but for now, she has to worry about her other problems, like the fact that she has to go to jail for 30 days. However, we all know what show this is so we all know that Papa Apple decides to go see Shun Love anyway. Let’s cut to that moment for a hot second because Shun Love smells the BS just like we do. She calls him out on being a deadbeat who is all of a sudden interested in his daughter’s life when cameras are around and opportunities are popping up. He tries horribly to defend himself by saying that he wasn’t there because he’s not even sure if Apple is his kid. He didn’t really mention that to Apple though, and that is going to be a huge problem when Apple finds out. Shun love instructs Papa Apple to handle that business before trying to butt into other business where he doesn’t belong. Next, Moniece and Brooke end up at Bridget Kelly’s photo shoot. Surprisingly, Brooke actually manages to stay on the sidelines so BK’s photoshoot goes well. Eventually, Brooke and Moniece discuss the night that Brooke bogarted Moniece’s studio session. Brooke reiterates that she thought Moniece was faking passing out and even tells Moniece that she jacked her song. Moniece said that she had switched doses of some medication and it messed her up and surprisingly tells Brooke to take the song and flourish. Brooke was dead wrong for taking Moniece’s song, but if Moniece isn’t mad then… I guess. Moniece and Teairra Mari decide to end their friendship over lunch with the girls. Basically, TT is upset over some he-said, she-said stuff based on something K. Michelle said to another friend of Moniece’s about TT and the sex tape, and questioning Teairra’s veracity over the fact that she was a victim. Hold that thought. Back in the US, Brooke goes to Akbar to be messy and conveniently brings up TT. According to Brooke, TT said that Akbar is dead to her. But according to Akbar, he and TT are still in communication with each other despite the fact that her lawyers told her not to. They’ve still been having sex and even that was allegedly filmed, and TT even flew to Dallas to see him. TT also told him she would drop the case and get rid of the lawsuit if he gets rid of his women, but he won’t. Akbar also sends her proof of their dalliances. Brooke meets up with K. Michelle and Moniece and they start talking about TT’s sex tape situation again, and this is when Brooke pulls up video Akbar sent of himself dropping Teairra off at the airport. Obviously, this looks bad for TT. The episode ends with Paris tossing water on K. Michelle because they can’t let go of their situation. You know, K Michelle says Paris is a thief for using her card without permission. Paris says she took Ubers on K. Michelle’s card because K. Michelle put the app on her phone since she was K’s assistant, and they both refuse to let it go even though they said they were going to let it go and move forward several episodes ago. You know they had to leave us hanging with the Teairra Mari sex tape stuff, but next week is when the big confrontation goes down. We all want to know what’s up with that! Comedians can spend years doing shows and barely scratch the surface of mainstream success. Tiffany Haddish is a prime example of someone who’s worked hard to get where she’s at, even if there’s some criticism along the way. Luckily, with the emergence of YouTube, Instagram and other social media sites, a comic’s rise to fame can be faster, or at least bring in a core audience. In case you haven’t checked in on Scott Disick in a while, and you were hoping that his cradle-robbing relationship with Sofia Richie had quietly come to an end … we have some bad news for you. While Disick and Sofia did break up over the summer in a brief burst rationality, they’ve since resumed their ill-advised romance. And as you can see, Scott reminded the world of that fact in somewhat uncomfortable fashion over the weekend It seems he and Sofia traveled to Las Vegas to attend UFC 229 on Saturday night. Sofia posted this pic on her Instagram page pre-fight. “The man in the mirror,” she captioned the image. Of course, at that point in the evening, Scott and Sofia had no idea what was in store. As you may have heard, the evening’s main event was a much-hyped bout between outspoken Irishman Connor McGregor and the undefeated Russian juggernaut Khabib Nurmagomedov. After McGregor was forced to tap out, all hell broke loose, as Khabib leaped into the crowd to fight a heckler. Several members of the Russian’s team entered the ring with the intention of attacking McGregor, and arena security was forced to rush front row attendees to safety. “So the night ended with us getting rushed out!” Richie later wrote in an Instagram story. “Of course I attend the fight that ends in a riot.” We’re sure it was an unpleasant experience, but Sofia has been with Scott for quite some time now. So by now, she must be accustomed to short, angry dudes exhibiting wild bursts of erratic behavior. Anyway, there’s been enough coverage of the fight and its totally bonkers aftermath. We’re here to discuss the fully-clothed, yet oddly-intimate photo that Scott took and Sofia posted. Now, Sofia is 20, which means she’s a consenting adult, and her relationship with Scott is perfectly legal, and yada, yada, yada. But when they started dating, she was still in her teens, and since he’s a 35-year-old father of three, there’s a considerable ick factor to this relationship. Perhaps part of the problem is that Sofia looks so young and Scott looks, well … not, but whatever the case, there’s something unsettling about him having her sit on the bed for skeevy hotel room pics. Travis Scott Performs On Saturday Night Live Saturday Night Live is back in full swing, and for the second episode of their season, Travis Scott performed a few tracks from his billboard topping record, Astroworld . This was the rapper’s first time appearing on the program, and his two performances included his huge hit “Sicko Mode” along with a “Skeletons/Astrothunder” medley. M ore than two weeks have passed since a security guard killed an HBCU student for supposedly breaking into cars at an off-campus apartment complex parking lot in North Carolina. DeAndre Ballard, who was a senior at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham, was shot the night of Sept. 17, but that was pretty much the only fact that was established as local law enforcement has kept quiet about most other details protesters have been demanded ever since. However, a local news reporter tweeted that the 911 call, or calls, were not being released, even though it’s fairly customary to release them to the public under such controversial circumstances. Police have only explained why they took days to identify Ballard. — Derrick Lewis (@DerrickQLewis) October 2, 2018 The frustrating development came one day after NCCU students coordinated a campus protest by walking out of class Monday morning to demand justice for their fallen 23-year-old classmate. The organizer of the walkout, Jamie Lyn Riggin, said she wanted to increase awareness to the shooting that hasn’t seemed to register a blip on the national media radar. “We don’t stand for things like this to continue to happen,” Riggin reportedly told the group of students who participated in the walkout. “We have pride here as Eagles, and if we are gonna soar, we are gonna soar as one,” she said, referring to the NCCU mascot. The company that still employs the security guard who killed Ballard has defended the deadly shooting by repeating a familiar refrain heard after shootings by law enforcement. “We fully, 100 percent stand by his actions because this was self-defense,” Kevin Ladd, vice president of the N.C. Detective Agency, told the Herald Sun . “In our eyes this is a tragic accident. It never should have gotten to this, but our officer was fearful for his life.” Ballard’s friends and family were adamant that breaking into cars was “out of character” for the physical education major. Students on Monday also questioned how sincere NCCU’s response to Ballard’s shooting was, seemingly trying to distance itself from the incident instead of sympathizing and empathizing. “The university is not associated with and does not have any contractual agreement with Campus Crossings, an independently-owned residential apartment complex,” NCCU said in a statement released Sept. 27. “The NCCU police department officers have no jurisdiction or connection with the Campus Crossings apartment complex nor with the security officer involved in the incident. NCCU does not endorse or recommend any specific rental property for students. Additionally, the university does not utilize the security services of the N.C. Detective Agency and does not hire any officers employed with this particular agency.” Ballard’s killing came amid a spate of violence on or near HBCU campuses. A man was killed Friday near the campus of Southern Universty in Baton Rouge. One day earlier, a Morehouse College student was carjacked and robbed of his belongings near the school’s campus in Atlanta. Three Florida A&M University students had a gun pulled on them in an elevator at an off-campus apartment building in Tallahassee on Sept. 10. Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Global Citizen Panic Ensues As People Mistake Fallen Barrier For Gunshots At Festival Every year, thousands of people pack into Central Park in New York City for Global Citizen Festival, a concert that boasts big headliners and free tickets, all for the cause of ending extreme poverty by 2030. This year, however, there was some panic at the festival that almost halted the concert. Just ahead of Janet Jackson’s set at the Global Citizen Festival, a fallen barrier caused panic among the 60,000 attendees–who reportedly thought it was the sound of gunshots. Witnesses at the scene told the New York Times that the confusion and fear of an active shooter at the music festival nearly caused a stampede as concertgoers fled. Chris Martin, who was on the stage at the time, tried to calm the attendees down. “What happened is a barrier I think fell down. Of course it caused people to be a bit frightened and stuff like that. But nobody is trying to hurt nobody. You are all safe,” he said to cheers before handing the microphone to NYPD’s assistant chief Kathleen O’Reilly, who also reassured the safety of the attendees. After some amazing sets from the likes of Cardi B and Janelle Monae, Janet Jackson took the stage–and even brought out Q-Tip out as a surprise guest to perform their classic hit “Got ’til It’s Gone.” The Weeknd ended out the night with an amazing performance, and the rest of the night went off without a hitch.
If you’re under the age of 30, there’s a very good chance that the name Chevy Chase doesn’t mean much of anything to you — and with good reason. While he was once thought to be one of the country’s top comedic talents, much of Chase’s work has not aged well, and he’s repeatedly torpedoed his own career with bigoted remarks and other acts of supreme douchebaggery. Though he’s attempted to revive his career several times in recent years, those efforts have proven ill-fated, largely as a result of the fact that Chase’s co-stars tend to find him insufferable. Chase likely sees this as a result of jealousy over his self-appointed status as a comedy legend, when in reality, it’s simply a consequence of the fact that people prefer not to work with racist jackasses. (See the incident in which Chase hurled racial slurs at Donald Glover on the set of Community for evidence of how much this guy sucks.) At this point, it seems Chase has all but given up on making a comeback and has instead opted to burn every bridge between himself and the people who cursed us all by making Chevy Chase famous. Chase got his start on Saturday Night Live , and many were shocked this week when he decided to attack the show for its decline in quality. “First of all, between you and me and a lamppost,” Chase recently told The Washington Post . “Jeez, I don’t want to put down Lorne [Michaels] or the cast … But I’ll just say, maybe off the record, I’m amazed that Lorne has gone so low,” he added. “I had to watch a little of it,” he said of the show. “And I just couldn’t f–king believe it.” Now, ragging on SNL is a fun activity that we should all engage in as regularly as possible, but a former cast member attacking the current cast with such vitriol is a violation of an unwritten law among performers. For a while there, it looked as though no one would push back against Chase, but thankfully, Pete Davidson eventually rose to the challenge. Yes, folks, Pete is more than just Ariana Grande’s fiance . He’s also one of the more outspoken SNL cast members, and he’s having none of Chevy’s nonsense. Davidson sat down with Howard Stern this week, and he really let loose on the topic of Chase. “He’s a f–king douchebag,” Davidson said. “F–k Chevy Chase. He’s just a genuinely bad, racist person and I don’t like him. He’s a putz.” Davidson added: “It’s disrespectful to Lorne, too, a guy who gave you a career … No matter how big you get, you can’t forget what that guy did for you.” Now, to be clear, Pete Davidson is a better person than Chevy Chase by every measure. But can we dispense with this notion that Lorne Michaels is some unassailable comedy god and SNL is his flawless gift to the world? Go ahead and watch a full episode from any point in the show’s 4,300 years on the air, and you’ll find that it’s always been mostly unwatchable. It’s true of Chevy’s cast, and Pete’s, and it goes quadruple for the Joe Piscopo days. That said, Kanye is gonna be on this week, so we’ll totally be watching.

He had his hand on her butt.” Sources close to the couple say that it doesn’t matter what anybody else saw — Khloe isn’t going to buy it unless she’s seeing it with her own eyes. “Khloé believes every word Tristan tells her,” says a source close to the mom of daughter True, 5 months. “They’ll stay together.” If you hadn’t already heard, Khloe has every intention of moving back to Cleveland with True when Tristan’s NBA season resumes and there’s absolutely nothing her friends and family can do to convince her to stay in Los Angeles. “Everyone is flabbergasted, but her family has learned to keep their opinions quiet,” reveals the insider. “People underestimate the threshold of what she’ll put up with for love.” The new allegations come on the tail of an insider revealing to US Weekly that the couple were “doing better than anyone could have expected” after the first cheating scandal. “Tristan has promised Khloé he will never betray her again,” the insider revealed. “She believes him.” Khloe is obviously a very loyal woman.
