Across the country, various artists were hitting the stage and they all had some wild and crazy things happening at the same time. Is Mercury still in Gatorade or what? The craziest event of the night had to go to The Carters. Let’s take a look at Beyonce and Jay Z’s On The Run II Tour in Atlanta. For the most part, the show was amazing. Jay and Bey performed their final song of the night, “Apesh*t” and as they were making their exit, a crazed fan jumps on stage and chases behind them. It was almost too crazy to be true but it really happened! Several videos began to pop up online showing a fan running on stage at the conclusion of the show. It’s unclear what his motives were but fortunately for us, Beyonce’s background dancers seemed to be military trained because they were able to apprehend him before he could get too close to the Carters (and by apprehend, we mean beat his a$$). Her dancers truly need a raise for their quick thinking because if it weren’t for them, things could have gone horribly wrong. Reports TMZ : The crazy fall went down at PlayStation Theater in NYC where she was performing her set in the tour formerly known as the Later That Night tour (more on that in a bit). Thanks to her first official statement since nearly dying from a drug overdose, fans now know what Demi Lovato is thinking. But these same fans do not know where Demi Lovato actually is at the moment. And that may not change any time soon. According to multiple outlets, the troubled artist has left Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and is on her way to a treatment center. Not even the sleuths at TMZ have figured out Demi’s exact location, however, except to confirm that she will be in rehab someplace located a distance from California. Aside from getting the star all the professional helps she needs, part of the basis for this move is to also get Lovato far away from some of the bad influences that had overtaken her life in the weeks leading up to her overdose. As previously reported, these toxic friends were never really friends at all. They didn’t push Lovato to overcome her dark side and her dangerous impulses; they encouraged these sides and impulses to come out. As a result, Lovato spent most of the night partying to weeks ago, only to be found hours later in a state of unconsciousness. An assistant called 911 and paramedics arrived just in time to save the singer’s life. TMZ writes that Lovato flew via private plans to a rehab center that an insider describes as “one of the nation’s leading facilities for addiction.” By our estimation, this will be Lovato’s third time receiving professional treatment in such a manner — and we just pray, as cliche as it sounds, that this third time in the charm. Per Radar Online, meanwhile, Demi will remain at her rehab center for a minimum of three months. She is reportedly set to take this treatment seriously, despite having previously scoffed at suggestions from those close to her over the past several weeks that she needs help. It took the star being rushed to the hospital in order for her to see their point. “She is scheduled to stay for 90 days,” a source tells Radar simply. This same source says that Lovato is not being held against her will. This is not a case of an involuntary psychiatric hold, known as a Sectio 5150, which means that Demi will be free to check herself out of rehab at any time. “Demi left the hospital over the weekend. She will get continued care at an in-patient rehab facility,” reports People Magazine, adding: “At the hospital, she was surrounded by family and friends that support her sobriety. They all want Demi to be the best she can. Demi is surrounded by a lot of love. She has people in her life that really care. “She has a long journey ahead, but with all the love, her journey could absolutely be a positive one.” Lovato was sober for six years prior to this relapse. She talked openly during that time about her previous hardcore drug use, her self-esteem issues, her eating disorder and even the suicidal thoughts she had at seven years old . We’ve always admired the singer for her honesty and for her mission to help other teens and/or young women experiencing anything close to what she experienced. The superstar posted an emotional note on Instagram yesterday, which marked the first words to come directly from Lovato since her hospitalization. This message included the following: I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet. I want to thank God for keeping me alive and well. To my fans, I am forever grateful for all of your love and support throughout this past week and beyond. Your positive thoughts and prayers have helped me navigate through this difficult time. I want to thank my family, my team, and the staff at Cedars-Sinai who have been by my side this entire time. Without them I wouldn’t be here writing this letter to all of you. We have an update on the condition of Demi Lovato. But it isn’t exactly a positive one. Earlier in the week, multiple outlets reported that Lovato had agreed to check into a treatment facility at an undisclosed location, although the rehab stint would presumably take her far away from Los Angeles. This was viewed as a favorable sign because it meant the singer was acknowledging that she is in dire need of professional assistance. However, here we are… six days after Demi tragically overdosed on some unknown substance and ended up in the hospital. And she’s still there. She’s still under the supervision of doctors. Why is this the case? According to TMZ, Lovato is very sick . She is running a high fever and has severe nausea and is simply not in any kind of shape to be moved at the moment. Just how dire is the situation? Lovato is expected to survive, that’s for certain, but physicians are unable to provide a time table for when she might leave as a patient, considering her painful physical state. Will this diminished state at least hammer home the point to Lovato that she needs to check into rehab? Maybe not. “We just don’t know where her head is at,” an insider tells TMZ. As previously detailed, Lovato was found unconscious last Tuesday morning. An assistant called 911 and, when paramedics arrived a short while later, they had to use Narcan, an antidote to an opioid overdose, in order to revive the artist. This approach worked, of course, and the EMTs had no choice. However, the use of such an antidote, along with the overdose itself and the question of how long Demi’s brain went without oxygen, could mean that Lovato will suffer long-term physical consequences. We just need to wait, see and pray for the time being. Meanwhile, Lovato’s friends are speaking out for the first time since her overdose last week. Previously, close pal Dani Vitale asked trolls to please stop blaming her for what transpired, something folks out there were actually doing simply because Demi was out celebrating Demi’s birthday the night before she was discovered in her bed at home. “I care about Demi just like all of you do,” Vitale wrote, expounding in a lot more detail; “I have not said anything about this situation now because her recovery has been of the most importance. I was not with Demi when the incident happened, but I am with her now, and will continue to be because she means to the world to me just as she does to all of you. “Like all of you, I have nothing but love in my heart for her. “There is no need for any negativity towards the ones who care about Demi at this time. There is too much of it in this world as it is.” Then, on Sunday, actpr Matthew Scott Montgomery, broke his silence on Lovato’s relapse via Instagram Stories Sunday. This is what he wrote: It’s been an incredibly difficult few days, and this year has easily been the hardest I’ve ever experienced. I couldn’t figure out what felt weirder – posting or not posting about this. I will miss hearing my best friend’s laugh, maybe my favorite sound in the world, in the audience for these final shows as she continues to recover. Finally, Sirah, a rapper and member of Lovato’s inner circle, said on Instagram Stories that fans need to band together and stop pointing fingers. Lovato just needs out support. “I hope everyone will focus their energy into more productive things because God knows we need good energy being put forth into the world during a time like this,” she wrote, concluding: “If I return back to the internet in the next few days as I try to continue on with my life, I hope that you guys will be able to understand that no matter what has happened this week it is important for me to live my life so I don’t also end up in the hospital [with] a mental breakdown.” Amen.
