We live in a terrifying world in which an orange-haired freak is stalking the countryside, threatening violence and spreading panic to the masses. But enough about Donald Trump! There are killer clowns out there, people! Yes, as you may have heard, roving gangs of deranged freakin’ clowns have been making your nightmares come to life across the country. Posses of mentally ill circus performers have been spotted in ten states, and it looks like they’ve progressed from simply scaring the ever-loving sh-t out of kids to actually assaulting people. Yew, it’s tough not too make light of the growing clown crisis, but there’s nothing funny about the situation that unfolded in Reading, Ohio over the past 24 hours: A Kim Youngblood says she was smoking a cigarette outside her apartment building at around 2:45 am, when a man dressed as a clown approached and her grabbed her by the throat. According to a police report, Youngblood says the clown told her, “I just kill you now” before he released his grip. Thankfully, Youngblood wasn’t injured. Unfortunately, her encounter with the clown wasn’t over yet. Before stalking away into the night, the clown reportedly told Youngblood that “some students and teachers would wish they were never born at the Jr. and Sr. High School today.” Due to the odd specificity of the threat (junior and senior high schools?) and the fact that it came from a grown-ass man walking around at 3 am dressed like a clown, schools throughout Reading were closed today. After making the threat, the clown “squeezed [Youngblood] harder for a second then pushed her away and fled the area,” according to a police report. “The safety of our students is paramount, so we decided to make the decision to close,” a school official told the New York Post today. This story already sounds like some sort of bad early Halloween prank, and sadly, it gets worse. There have been clown sightings in states from Georgia to Colorado. Residents in Carolinas have been cautioned about dangerous clowns. Children in NC reported that a clown tried to lure them into the woods . As far as anyone knows the predatory Bozo is still at large. Even more shocking is the fact that copy-cat clowning appears to be an international phenomenon. Clown Terrorizes British Town The video above is about a clown who spent several years freaking people out in the UK. Unlike his American counterparts, however, the guy never got violent or tried to kidnap anyone. Like this year needed to get any weirder. Be afraid, folks. Be very afraid.

Usually when you see a headline about Gwyneth Paltrow, it means she did something obnoxious, like encouraging women to steam clean their vaginas . (Side note: don’t steam clean your vagina . According to doctors, Gwyneth knows as much about feminine hygiene as Jenny McCarthy knows about vaccinations.) Sometimes, however, Gwyneth reminds us of why the public fell in love with her in the first place… She’s beautiful, she’s outspoken, and despite frequent public criticism, she’s boldly and defiantly herself. The makeup-free selfie (above) that Gwyneth posted to celebrate her 44th birthday yesterday reflects so many of her best qualities. Unfortunately, the caption that she posted with it serves as a reminder of why the mere mention of her name elicits involuntary eyerolls from 96% of the Earth’s population. (We looked it up.) “#nomakeup for my 44th birthday, embracing my past and future. Thank you for the instalove #goopgoesmakeupfree @goop” Sure, fine, whatever. Of course she used the occasion to plug her stupid lifestyle brand. We won’t even fault her for that. But you can’t post a pic and prematurely thank people for the positive comments. That’s just not how the Internet works. This caption proves once and for all that Gwyneth is the kind of person who posts a selfie and immediately “likes” it. Look, obviously, this post isn’t as obnoxious as the phrase ” conscious uncoupling .” And it’s certainly not as annoying as the time Paltrow sang the praises of a $15,000 vibrator . (Why’s she always trying to you what to do with your vadge?) And it’s definitely not as irritating as the time she accepted the ” food stamp challenge ” just to get caught cheating on it a day later. We could go on and on. The point is, Gwyneth can’t even jump on the makeup-free selfie bandwagon without doing something lame. And The Winner Is… The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story was nominated for an absurdly high twenty different categories. It’d be a long night for anybody to try and figure out who won what throughout multiple posts so we figured we’d make it easy. Here’s every Black actor that won an award for the show, what category they won, and who they won it against. Sterling K. Brown (pictured above) won an Emmy for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie” for his role as Christopher Darden in The People Vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story. He also gave a shout out to “the hottest chick in the game wearing [his] chain.” No, not Beyonce. He was talking about his wife. Courtney B. Vance won an Emmy for “Outstanding Actor in a Limited Series or Movie” for his role as Johnnie Cochran in The People Vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story. Vance was against Bryan Cranston, in All the Way , Benedict Cumberbatch, in Sherlock: The Abominable Bride , Idris Elba in Luther , Cuba Gooding Jr. in The People vs. O.J. Simpson , and Tom Hiddleston in The Night Manager . This is Vance’s first Emmy win. Vance, like Brown, made sure to shout out his beautiful wife Angela Bassett.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are on the verge of a breakup again, according to a new tabloid report, and you know who is at the crux of it all. In a way, it’s a rehash of a rumor that’s been circulating for months: Despite the fact that his sex scandals have largely blown over, Jim Bob and Michelle are fighting over Josh and heading for divorce. Ironically, Anna Duggar and Josh are on good terms after all this. Anyway, one of the pariah’s parents allegedly does not want anything to do with their first-born, while the other wants him back in the fold. Can you guess which Duggar parent is which? In Touch magazine’s latest cover story features a smiling Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and the “fight that split the family apart,” supposedly. The gossip publication claims that the pair has been at odds, and that while Jim Bob is ready to forgive his son, his wife isn’t so sure. Apparently, the tension has grown so thick that either Jim Bob or Michelle will be moving out of their Arkansas home in the near future. Who will stay and who will leave the compound?! There are only two real possibilities here as we see it: Either the cover above is entirely inaccurate, or Jim Bob and Michelle are doing one heck of a fine job masking whatever tension exists. Just three days ago, he looked lovingly at Michelle in a birthday video message for son Josiah on the family’s official Facebook account. In the clip, Jim Bob extolled the virtues of his 20-year-old son and his “loving spirit towards people” while Michelle glowed by his side. Like we said, they’d have to be really good actors. Jim Bob also gushed over Michelle in a recent anniversary tribute in which he also appeared to shade Josh, casting doubt on this story. For all the recurring talk of the Duggars divorcing , that would come as nothing short of a monumental shock at this stage of the game. Why? Chris Brown has been released from prison. But his latest legal ordeal is only just beginning. As previously reported, Chris Brown was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday night. He has been charged with a felony. We’ll get to the details of the case against him in a moment, but the most immediate update on this controversial artist is that he’s been released on $250,000 bail. It was posted at 11:19 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Los Angeles Sheriff Department inmate records, with Brown’s attorney Tweeting to fans around 2 a.m. “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes,” Mark Geragos wrote, adding: “Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy.” We’re not sure if a lawyer should really be hashtagging “TeamBreezy” if he wants to be taken seriously, but then again.. … we’re not sure about a whole lot when it comes to Chris Brown. The 27-year-old artist was taken into custody last night after a nearly 14-hour standoff at his Tarzana, California home. It started after a woman named Baylee Curran claimed she and a friend stopped by Brown’s house just to hang out. In subsequent interviews, Curran says Brown was acting strange all night, culminating in him pulling a gun on her after she took a close look at an expensive piece of jewelry that was being held by a member of Brown’s entourage. Speaking to Extra (below), Curran describes the events as follows: “Chris came in, pulled out his gun and said, ‘I’m getting so sick of you people,’ pointed the gun at me, (and told me) to get the f—- out of the house.” Baylee Curran on Chris Brown: He Knows What He Did! She has since told several media outlets that she feared for her life, adding to E! News of the diamond piece in question: “I did not pick it up, I did not touch it, take it or grab it, anything to that sort.” Curran fled from the premises and called the cops. They arrived around 3 a.m., but Brown refused to let them inside his house. While they were in his driveway, the singer unleashed a tirade of profanity on Instagram, filming three separate videos that cursed off the police and proclaimed his innocence. “You’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing,” he said in one message after verbally attacking the cops for making him out to be a villain. He then said he was “asleep half the damn night” and that “it’s always gon’ be f-ck the police.” A video posted by 1 YOU ❤️ 2 HATE (@chrisbrownofficial) on Aug 30, 2016 at 9:16am PDT Soon after sharing the above footage, Brown reportedly taunted the authorities outside his Los Angeles mansion. “Come and get me,” sources say he yelled to them upon dropping a duffel bag full of weapons and drugs out the window. Eventually, of course, the cops obtained a search warrant and they DID go and get Brown. A little after 5 p.m. PST, they took the singer into custody. We don’t know at the moment exactly what evidence they found at the scene, but one has to assume they came across at least one gun. Earlier in the night, Brown had entertained such guests as Ray J. An initial report claimed the former Kim Kardashian sex tape partner was actually getting a tattoo inside of Brown’s home before the chaos ensued and he got the heck out of there. According to TMZ, Ray J was actually handcuffed by police and had his BMW confiscated while they tried to figure out what the heck was going on. We can’t say for certain. She’s a recent beauty pageant winner and an aspiring model. She allegedly stole a Louis Vuitton purse from The Plaza Hotel in New York City in 2013, although no charges were brought up against her at the time. More details will likely come out in the near future about Curran, about this weird night in question and about Chris Brown’s role in it. But if you’re asking us whether we give Brown the benefit of any doubt or if he’s earned out trust in any way, shape or form, then we can only respond with a question of our own: Are you insane? This guy is a violent agitator who thinks he’s above the law.
