Student Falls To His Death From College Dorm A college football player has plunged to his death from a UNC Chapel Hill dormitory. Few details are available about how or why he fell, however he was believed to have a bright future and was well liked by his classmates. Via MailOnline : An Elon University football player has died after falling from a 10-story dormitory on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Demitri Allison died after plunging off Morrison Residence Hall on Wednesday afternoon, according to Smith Jackson, vice president for student life and dean of students at Elon University. Jackson didn’t specify what floor Allison fell from or how it happened. In a statement on the private school’s website, he said Allison had left the Elon campus on Tuesday. His teammates, friends and family had asked police to look for him because they were ‘concerned for his well-being and emotional state’, Jackson said, but did not elaborate further. Such a sad story. Lily hosted a dinner party on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 6 . And what was on the menu? A surprising serving of bait. Because this installment was all about a bait… and switch! See, promos and pre-episode hype all centered on the aforementioned shindig, a gathering meant to introduce Julian to his fellow Mystic Falls residents and bring peace to this sparse town. Stefan, of course wanted to kill Julian right away for what he did to Valerie; while Damon wanted to drag out Lily’s happiness and hope and THEN drive a stake through Julian’s heart. But after Stefan tried to failed to kill Julian, he confessed the whole baby thing to Damon and the brothers are now united. Damon is totally down to kill Julian at Stefan’s say-so. Elsewhere in this storyline, Julian tempted Mary-Louise by telling her it’s okay to feed on a maid and also admitted to Bo that something is off with him. He’s crazy blood thirsty and power hungry and he told Lily that he needs protection of some kind from her sons. She said his plan (whatever it may be) will require the help of the entire family. That was all well and good and interesting and all, but here’s where the switch came into play: The true shocker of the night, the one that has counting down the seconds until The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 7 , was this: CAROLINE IS PREGNANT WITH ALARIC’S TWINS! Because of course she is, right? See, Valerie determined that the member of the Gemini Coven were chanting a spell at Alaric and Jo’s wedding that would keep the twins alive. She then used a locator spell and.. presto! She ended the hour by telling Caroline that she’s somehow carrying these kids. Which sort of explains this week’s flash forward: it revealed Caroline and Alaric are engaged – and it gave us a look at a bloodied Caroline appearing on TV, telling Stefan to show himself at the behest of some unknown villain. And in case all that was not enough to handle, Matt and Bonnie stumbled upon a classroom of compelled students, all, of whom had IVs in their arms. Creepy! Mysterious! DUI Suspect In Stolen SUV Rams A Police Car A High Speed And Doesn’t Get Shot By Cops Sandra Bland couldn’t even smoke her cotdamn cigarette, there is no way in HELL that a person of color would have lived to be arrested and stand trial for attacking a police officer with a vehicle. But according to the TulsaWorld, 41-year-old Stacey Ann Bunsey drove a stolen truck 50 mph into a police officer who was trying to stop her. Miraculously the officer survived, and when he came to his feet he found Stacey screaming “I’m God, bit¢#!”. By her own admission, Stacey had been snorting methamphetamine the night before. Cheating Partners Murdered While In The Act A couple — each of whom had been cheating on their primary relationships for a number of years — met a grisly end during one of their secret late-night trysts . While the couple was having sex in a secluded area inside a parked car in the middle of the night, someone flung the door open and shot them both in their heads. Via MailOnline : Shakoor Arline, 25, and mother-of-five Lisa Smith, 32, were together in the back seat of a SUV in Philadelphia when someone opened the rear door and fired nine shots, hitting the pair multiple times in the head. Maintenance workers found their bodies on Friday afternoon near Lemon Hill Mansion, a historic building in the city’s Fairmount Park. Arline was naked and Smith was only partially clothed, NBC Philadelphia reported. Homicide Capt. James Clark said Arline and Smith met at work at a previous job and had been seeing each other on and off for the two years. But both were also in relationships with other people. The area they were found in is sometimes referred to as a ‘lovers’ lane’. ‘So obviously that’s where our investigation is going to start, because somebody knew that they were in the park at that time and obviously had an issue with that,’ he said. ‘You’ve got nine shots fired, all of them head shots to both of the victims, so it appears to be very much a crime of passion,’ Clark said. Damn. Now, we’re not detectives over here…but it seems pretty obvious who’s responsible for this murder. We’d be willing to bet money that either the woman’s boyfriend/husband or the guy’s wife/girlfriend gets picked up for this one sooner than later… Fox29 Philadelphia
