Singer/Song-writer Ester Dean has written hits for celebs like Brittney Spears and Chris Brown. The 24- year old is Grammy nominated and currently basking in Billboard success with singles she wrote for Rihanna and Katy Perry. Ester admits to living in poverty-like conditions saying “Three years ago I was dead broke,” Ester jokes to the LATimes about not being able to afford Fruit Loops (“Not being able to afford Fruit Loops and having to buy the Fruity O’s in the white box, or the mac and cheese that’s not in the blue box,”). She goes on to say ‘Drop It Low,’ honestly, was for Ciara, but she didn’t come get the song. And then Britney [Spears] wanted it,” she said. “During the demo [Polow] kept telling me, ‘You’ve gotta believe it’ as I was singing it. It’s a celebrity fashion clash of cuties from the Academy Awards. Cuties may not even do these two justice, based on the dresses they donned Sunday night. Black Swan star Mila Kunis’ gown can best be described as head-snapping for reasons we don’t even need to get into here. But seriously, wow. Mandy Moore, meanwhile, was on hand to sing the nominated “I See the Light” from her hit animated film Tangled , and looked so beautiful it’s hard to believe this is Mandy Moore. Justin Bieber to be immortalized in Wax for Madame Tussauds

Justin Bieber gets a  new feather in his cap . After become pop sensation of the nation,  Justin Bieber is now getting his own wax statue . Yes!! the 16-year-old singing sensation, Justin Bieber is going to be immortalized in  Wax . The twice Grammy nominated singer and  2011 Brit Awards winner will be honored with his own waxwork at Madame Tussauds New York this March. The good news doesn’t end here. He will be honored with not one, not two but three different wax figures . WOW!! “To be immortalized in wax alongside some of my idols — Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyonce and my mentor, Usher — is incredibly exciting and very cool,” Bieber said about the honor. Not only this, another Justin figure will also be unveiled at  Madame Tussauds Amsterdam and London on the same day. He is the latest star to be honored with a wax figure and will be joining the major music stars from  L ady Gaga to Madonna, Jimi Hendrix to Michael Jackson. For Justin Bieber’s wax statue, hundreds of precise measurements were taken by the sculptors in a sitting with Justin late last year. Justin Bieber wax work then took four months to complete at a cost over $242,000. Liz Edwards, Madame Tussauds’ PR manager, said:  “Justin Bieber is truly a worldwide sensation. We have been absolutely inundated with requests from young fans from around the world to see him at Madame Tussauds. We’re sure his fans will be just as delighted as we are that Justin will be joining the A-list here in March.” As of recent news about Justin,  Justin Bieber got new haircut and plans on donating the hair to a charity auction. No other award show in the music industry holds quite the prestige of the Grammys. Though there is everything from the MTV Awards to the American Music Awards, the Grammys stand out as the Academy Awards of music. The show is not just a showcase of talent but a determining factor in the evolution of an artist’s career. After all, once a musician wins just one, the term “grammy-award winning artist” comes to forever precede his or her name. Like most award shows, the Grammy Awards  is big business, for the producers as well as the nominated guests of honor. But just how much can the award boost the earnings of an artist? With the music industry struggling to reinvent its business model and fewer musicians being able to earn enough revenue from album sales, winning an award is more important than ever.
