Coming Soon to a TV Near You: Kirsten Dunst Nude in Melancholia

We’ve been following all the nudes on Kirsten Dunst ‘s full-frontal debut in Melancholia here at Skin Central, and now we’re slappy to announce that soon you’ll be able to fast-forward to the good parts of this “beautiful movie about the end of the world” (and you probably should, it looks like a snoozer) from the comfort of your own home. Melancholia has been picked up by Magnolia Pictures for its US theatrical release; according to the distribution company, it’ll open in select US theaters on November 11, 2011, but will premiere on VOD on October 7, meaning it’ll be available to watch on your DVR or computer a full month before it hits the silver screen. It’s nice to see Magnolia has the meat-mangling market in mind- because if the life of Paul Reubens has taught us one thing, it’s that it’s better to take care of your snake-strangling business at home. Stay tuned for our Skin Skout’s full nudity report from Melancholia this September as it makes its North American debut at the Toronto Film Festival!

One Pastor Wages War On Obesity In His Congregation & Sees Victory

Excerpt from:

Obesity is a leading killer in the African American community. Churches all across the country are getting in the fight for health. They are offering dental care giving out health care kits and getting in the fight to save our families. One such church in the heart of the Delta  has been fighting the good fight  for over a decade. Now, he has the support  of  The National Baptist Convention. For over a decade from his pulpit here at Oak Hill Baptist in North Mississippi, the Rev. Michael O. Minor has waged war against obesity and bad health. In the Delta this may seem akin to waging war against humidity, but Mr. Minor has the air of the salesman he once was, and the animated persistence to match. Years into his war, he is beginning to claim victories. The National Baptist Convention, which represents some seven million people in nearly 10,000 churches, is ramping up a far-reaching health campaign devised by Mr. Minor, which aims to have a “health ambassador” in every member church by September 2012. The goals of the program, the most ambitious of its kind, will be demanding but concrete, said the Rev. George W. Waddles Sr., the president of the convention’s Congress of Christian Education. The signs of change in the Delta may be most noticeable because they are the most hard-fought. A sign in the kitchen of First Baptist Church in Clarksdale declares it a “No Fry Zone.” Bel Mount Missionary Baptist Church in the sleepy hamlet of Marks just had its first Taste Test Sunday, where the women of the church put out a spread of healthier foods, like sugar-free apple pie, to convince members that healthy cuisine does not have to taste like old tires. Carved out of the fields behind Seek Well Baptist Church in the tiny town of Lula is a new community garden. The pastor, the Rev. Kevin Wiley, is even thinking about becoming a vegetarian, a sort of person he says he has never met in the Delta. Many pastors tell the same story: They started worrying about their own health, but were motivated to push their congregations by the campaign that began in Mr. Minor’s church. ‘Hunger Games’ Soundtrack: Jennifer Lawrence’s Vocals Confirmed

‘It was beautiful. She did great. She’s singing great,’ film’s music composer T-Bone Burnett says. By Eric Ditzian Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss and Liam Hemsworth as Gale in “The Hunger Games” Photo: Murray Close/ Lionsgate Entertainment We’ve seen snippets of the cinematic world of Panem — Jennifer Lawrence as blood-spattered, arrow-wielding Katniss crouching in the woods, Josh Hutcherson as her battle-worn fellow combatant Peeta lying in a clearing. What we haven’t yet checked out from “Hunger Games” — and why would we, with no trailer yet released and the film not hitting theaters until March 2012? — is anything to do with the score, an all-star collaboration between T-Bone Burnett and Danny Elfman . But that musical omission will be changing soon, as Burnett not only told MTV News that filmmakers will be releasing “Hunger Games” tuneage soon, but that one track will feature Lawrence herself. “Yeah, we did,” Burnett said when we asked if Lawrence had recorded anything in the studio. “And it was beautiful. She did great. She’s singing great. Killer actor too.” Burnett’s confirmation follows a blog post in June from the website of Echo Mountain Recording Studio in North Carolina, detailing Burnett’s in-studio work with Lawrence. The post has since been deleted and Lawrence’s musical contribution has not been confirmed. After our chat with Burnett on Tuesday at the “Big Lebowski” reunion in New York, though (spoiler alert), we know the 21-year-old actress in fact recorded “Rue’s Lullaby,” a song Katniss sings after Rue, a young tribute in the Games, is mortally wounded. “Yeah, we did that. We recorded that,” Burnett said about “Rue’s Lullaby.” “And it’ll be coming out soon.” While Burnett and Elfman are ready to release Lawrence’s recording, the two Grammy winners are only just getting started on their “Hunger Games” work. What they have planned has blown Burnett away. “It’s 300 years in the future, so we can take all sorts of liberties,” Burnett said of the story. “[Elfman’s] got an incredible space he’s put together. It’s the most incredible studio I’ve ever seen and he’s got drums and marimbas and a cimbalom — just crazy instruments everywhere. We’re just going to go over there and rock out. I think we’re just going to play together. We’re going to do it together.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Hunger Games.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Britney Spears’ Tourmates Nervo Tease New ‘Club Records’

Aussie twins tell MTV News they haven’t strayed from dance music roots in spite of ‘amazing’ Femme Fatale Tour experience. By Akshay Bhansali Nervo Photo: Michael Buckner/ Getty Images With Britney Spears ‘ flashy Femme Fatale Tour closing out its remaining North American dates later this month, it’s fair to say that many of Ms. Spears’ concert-going fans have gotten to know Olivia and Miriam Nervo pretty well. In fact, when Brit first announced her Femme Fatale lineup back in April, promising on her website, “Nervo will get everyone on the dancefloor,” dance music fans were ecstatic about the inclusion of the DJ/producer twins whose writing credits include a song for Spears and David Guetta and Kelly Rowland’s “When Love Takes Over.” MTV News recently caught up with the Australian sisters (and former models), and they told us that bussing across the States and sharing the stage with Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the Toy Boys, and Brit herself, has been a stellar opportunity. “We’ve definitely seen both the girls, [Britney and Nicki], and we interact with them,” Miriam, a.k.a. Mim, told us. “You are traveling to each city and you see the same people every day and it really becomes a family. So it’s been an amazing experience.” “It’s an amazing show,” Liv added. “The girls, the lineup really works well together. You’ve got Britney, who I think is looking the best she’s looked in a really long time and who really gives it her all on this tour. And then you’ve got Nicki, who definitely brings her edge to it. I’d never seen Nicki live, and I’m just so blown away. The girl can sing, rap — total respect to her!” As the Femme Fatale Tour winds down Stateside before heading to Europe, Nervo are now looking to expand the fanbase they’ve built in the U.S. But while Liv and Mim have been a part of what might be considered the mother of all pop music tours, the duo insist that they intend to remain true to their dance music and DJ roots. “When we signed the record deal, it was really important to us that we could take our DJing seriously and release club records,” Liv explained of their Astralwerks label. “Yeah, we want to be DJ artists,” Mim added. “That’s what we love so, luckily, we can release some club records alongside our Astralwerks album,” Liv said. “It just so happens that the Astralwerks single that we’re coming out with is with two major club guys: Afrojack and Steve Aoki . It’s called ‘We’re All No One.’ We love it!” While Liv and Mim do the singing on “No One,” the beats are delivered by hard-hitting EDM producer Aoki and David Guetta prot
