Just a few months after a violent run-in with University of Chicago police, Josh Marks has been found dead. Officials believe he committed suicide. The MasterChef finalist was just 26 years old. Police say they received a call from a woman screaming for help Friday evening. They found a 26-year old male with a gunshot wound to the head. Multiple sources involved with the investigation state that the victim in the Chicago alley is Josh Marks. Officers have also recovered a nearby weapon. It’s a sad and tragic end for this bright talent. Marks was arrested for assault by University of Chicago cops this summer after an incident in which he allegedly punched an officer and tried to grab his gun. Three officers tried to subdue Marks, who was 7’2″, with batons and pepper spray, but he broke free and took off. Five cops brought him down eventually. Once in custody, Marks blamed Gordon Ramsay for his outburst, claiming the celebrity chef possessed him and turned him into a god … seriously. There was no evidence of drug use on his part. In February of this year, Marks released a video for the “Make a Sound Project,” an organization dedicated to helping people struggling with suicidal thoughts. Marks himself suffered from bipolar disorder. R.I.P.

Kris Humphries confirms that he is indeed auctioning off the massive engagement ring he gave to interim wife Kim Kardashian back in 2011. There was buzz last month that the NBA player was planning on auctioning off the diamond stunner to the highest bidder at Christie’s in New York. Earlier today, Humphries rep finally confirmed the rumors. “The ring is indeed Kris’ property that he received through his marriage dissolution,” the rep said in a statement. “He has long-since moved on.” “Kris is very much looking forward to a successful auction at Christie’s and of course to returning to the court this upcoming NBA season as a Boston Celtic.” Kris Humphries will net some pretty big bucks on Tuesday. The Lorraine Schwartz custom 16-karat sparkler is valued between $300,000-500,000 even though it was bought for Kim Kardashian for $2 million. Pretty large dropoff, wouldn’t you say? Either the Hump got ripped off like no other, or any association with Kim really does tarnish something. Kris Humphries Selling Kim Kardashian Engagement Ring Christie’s still expects this “impressive” diamond and “property of a gentleman” to fetch over $500,000, a portion of which Kris will donate sale to charity. Its description: “[It’s] set with a rectangular-cut diamond, weighing 16.21 carats, flanked on either side by a trapeze-cut diamond, each weighing 1.80 carats, mounted in platinum.” Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries split after 72 days of marriage, then dragged the divorce proceedings on for much, much longer than that. She went on to date and have daughter North West with Kanye; Kris went on to date Myla Sinanaj , who claimed she was pregnant with his fake baby. Point, Kim.

Kim Kardashian is strolling around Paris these days, exposing her mammoth cleavage and taking in Fashion Week. But the reality star’s mind is clearly very much on daughter North West, and not just because Kim is wearing a Nori necklace around France with her. Kardashian posted a new photo of the infant on Instagram today, including with it the following caption: “I missed waking up with my little [angel emoji].” And, even the harshest Kim critic must admit: Nori is adorable! You likely recall that the first North West photo was unveiled in August when Kanye West dropped by Kris Jenner’s terrible talk show (which has since been axed). Kim and her baby daughter remained almost entirely off the radar before and since, but the former and her boobs are officially back in the public’s view now. Shayanna Jenkins, Girlfriend of Aaron Hernandez, Indicted as Accessory to Murder

Shayanna Jenkins, the girlfriend of Aaron Hernandez, has been indicted on a single perjury charge as an accessory to the murder he is charged with. A Massachusetts prosecutor said Friday that a grand jury indicted Jenkins on a single count in relation to the investigation into the June 17 slaying. Odin Lloyd was found shot to death in an industrial park in North Attleborough, Mass., near Hernandez’s home, where Jenkins also lives with their child. Shayanna Jenkins ‘ sister had been dating Lloyd. Aaron Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Odin Lloyd’s death and is has been held without bail for the past several months. The prosecutor says Hernandez’s cousin, Tanya Singleton, also was indicted on a new charge of conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact. The takeaway there is that the authorities believe she helped one of Aaron’s alleged accomplices get out of trouble by buying him a bus ticket to Florida. Aaron Hernandez Case Latest Details That man, Ernest Wallace, was eventually arrested in Florida, and is charged with being an accessory to Odin Lloyd’s murder. He remains in custody. Singleton has already pleaded not guilty to a criminal contempt charge. Authorities say she refused to testify before a grand jury in the murder case. Jenkins and Singleton were not arrested and have no court date yet. Aaron Hernandez’ s girlfriend faces up to two-and-a-half years in a jail if convicted on the perjury charge, though she would likely not get the full amount. If she goes to jail, child services would have to make arrangements with Jenkins’ family for the care of her child, as both parents would be in cells.

The two were last seen publicly last year at a showing of his movie Arbitrage in their native Hamptons stomping grounds, and a separate insider tells the paper that their divergent lifestyles — he craves privacy, while she embraces the social spotlight — likely precipitated the parting of ways. An insider said “they have a place in Bedford, and he likes it because it’s quiet and he likes the solitude,” while “she likes being in North Haven in the limelight. “They live next door to Jimmy Buffett and his family, and they’re good friends.” Gere was formerly married to 90s supermodel Cindy Crawford, while Lowell’s ex-husbands are shutterbug John Stember and After Hours star Griffin Dunne. Daughters Return Home From Store To Find Their Mother Dead A Brooklyn man is the prime suspect in a murder after he sent two young girls (pictured left) to the store while he was home alone with their mother (pictured right) and they returned to find her dead. via NY Daily News Two Brooklyn girls — given $8 by their mom’s former boyfriend to get food at a nearby chicken joint — returned to find their mother dead in a pool of blood, police sources said. The two daughters, 5 and 15, left their Brownsville apartment around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday and headed to Crown Fried Chicken around the corner, police sources said. When the girls got back 15 minutes later, they found a scene of unspeakable horror. Their mother, Sellis Gonzales, 46, was lying motionless on the floor. She was shot six times — three bullets to the head and three to the midsection, police sources said. Khadija, the older sister, called her grandmother in North Carolina to break the news. “My mother is on the floor covered in blood,” she told her grandmother, her voice shaking in hysterics. Cops late Thursday identified the ex-boyfriend as Eric McCormick, 40, and said they were searching for the suspect. The Gonzales family said McCormick is a cross-country truck driver who had abused his girlfriend in the past. “We know it was him,” snapped Ursula Gonzales. “This was not the first time he hurt her. He’s a control freak. He’s controlling and abusive.” The importance of taking heed to warning signs in an abusive relationship can never be stressed enough, especially when there are children involved.
