Benjamin Netanyahu Pushes For Sanctions Against Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu advocates for sanctions against Iran so as to prevent it from developing a nuclear weapons capability. He worries that the international community is not acting aggressively enough to prevent Tehran’s nuclear ambitions. There is a possibility that Iran could develop a nuclear weapons program which will become the biggest problem mankind will face in the future. However, the Israeli prime minister denied that their country imports petroleum from Iran. Unlike the leaders of Turkey and Brazil, Netanyahu strongly agrees with the U.S. President Barack Obama for sanctions to be implemented against Iran. There’s no room for giving them another chance and this is the best solution to prevent Iran in developing such harmful nuclear weapons. Rumors surfaced in February that Matthew Fox pulled a Josh Duhamel and cheated on his wife with some random stripper. Pretty wrong if it’s true. But Fox has finally broken his silence to say that it’s not, and there was no such railage of Stefani Talbott at Stars Cabaret club in Bend, Oregon. Fox has been married to wife Margherita for over 18 years, and in an interview with Playboy , he denied any sort of cheating on his better half. Mysteries of the island remain, however (see Lost review from last night). Matthew Fox and wife Margherita Fox . “The story is not true, and I’m not going to comment [further] on it,” he said . “Margherita and I have been best friends and best lovers.” “She’s the love of my life.” “We have managed to both be intensely independent and maintain strength in our relationship. I am a man, and I am an appreciator of women. At the same time, Margherita is the s—. I can honestly say we’re good together.” “We’ve been together for 23 years, so let’s leave it at that.” Well, that settles that. Hopefully Fox is telling the truth and we can leave it at that, and he isn’t hopping aboard the Jesse James Express to marriage exile.

Sarah Palin Better Not Have to Use One of Those Damn Straws That Doesn’t Bend

Watergate, it’s not, but a document found in a California state university trash bin last week shed interesting light into Sarah Palin’s upcoming speech there. On Tuesday, California Attorney General Jerry Brown said his office would look into finances of the California State University, Stanislaus Foundation. Why? For potentially violating ethics laws by keeping details of Palin’s contract secret. The former half-term Alaska Governor is scheduled to speak at a June 25 gala hosted by the foundation to commemorate the university’s 50th anniversary. Brown’s investigation was prompted in part, by a group of CSU Stanislaus students who retrieved five pages of the contract from a campus trash bin. This after hearing administrators were engaged in shredding documents – and some stuff they allegedly shredded paints a diva-like picture of Palin. The contract detailed the alleged politician’s requirements for her visit, including first-class flights from Anchorage to California – if she flies commercial. If not, “the private aircraft MUST BE a Lear 60 or larger,” the contract specifies (large enough to accommodate her ego entourage, in other words). The renowned nuclear weapons expert also must be given a suite at a deluxe hotel, and a lectern stocked with two water bottles with bendable straws. Regular straws and the deal is off. You got that?! The document, dated March 16, does not include specific compensation details for Sarah Palin, who commands speaking fees as high as $100,000. “This is not about Sarah Palin,” Brown said. “The issues are public disclosure and financial accountability in organizations embedded in universities.” Come on, it’s a little about Sarah Palin . Doesn’t sound like a scandal worthy of major attention … well, besides perhaps on the Sarah Palin Network .

Mandy Moore to Appear on Grey’s Anatomy

We haven’t heard from Mandy Moore since she agreed to marry Kellan Lutz . In a move slated for production later this year, that is. They’re not dating or anything. In fact, last year, Mandy Moore married Ryan Adams in real life. Today, it was announced that the actress-singer-songwriter is making a TV splash , slated to guest star on the two-hour Grey’s Anatomy finale May 20. Details surrounding the super-secret gig are being kept under wraps, at least until Shonda Rhimes drops Grey’s Anatomy spoilers to spark interest. It should be fun to see this cutie on the medical drama. But given the amount of people to die on its season finales, we’d better be prepared to cry. Mike Nilon, you’ve… been… served! The heretofore unknown husband of actress Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon is in the news today because his wife fired off an email to everyone that works at Creative Arts Agency (Mike’s place of employement). Its subject line? “Tiger Woods/Jesse James/Mike Nilon.” It’s not hard to imagine where Beauvais-Nilon went from there, is it? This is what the widely-circulated email allegedly says: “What do they have in common . . . I found out today that MY husband of almost 9 yrs has been having an affair for 5 yrs with some slut in Chicago. I am devastated!!!! And I have been duped!! Our boys don’t deserve this!” It could be worse, Garcelle. That “slut” could also be a lying Nazi worshipper . Just sayin. The couple has twin two-year old boys named Jax and Jaid. Shortly after they were born, the actress said about her husband: “He’s just really loving. He loves me no matter what I look like. It’s really important to find somebody that you love and you want to share your life with, and especially when there’s kids involved. We don’t take it lightly.” Beauvais (we’ve already removed his name from yours, honey) is best known for her four-year portrayal of an attorney on NYPD Blue . In the end, we hope she holds her head up high, secure in the knowledge that this is Mike Nilon’s loss? Why? He’ll never see this naked body ever again!

Barack Obama Goes Nuclear on Sarah Palin

The White House’s declaration that the U.S. will not respond to a conventional attack with nuclear weapons has come under attack itself … from Sarah Palin. Speaking in Minnesota, the former Alaska Governor and current professional celebrity said no previous administration would’ve ever considered such a step. “It’s unbelievable,” Palin said at a rally . “It’s like getting out there on a playground, a bunch of kids, getting ready to fight, and one of them says, ‘Go ahead, punch me in the face. I’m not going to retaliate. Do what you want to with me.'” That’s what Bristol Palin said to Levi Johnson! Sorry. Moving on. “This is another thing that the American public, the more they find out what is a part of this agenda, they’re going to rise up and say ‘no more,'” Sarah said. WHAT? WHO? Barack promptly shot down his harshest critic . Unaware or unwilling to consider nuance, Palin’s foreign policy is four words long: We win, you lose! Suffice it to say, the President, who believes reducing global nuclear proliferation and tension helps the U.S. “win” along with everyone else, was unmoved. “Last I checked, Sarah Palin is not much of an expert on nuclear issues,” Barack Obama told ABC, declining to elaborate but adding an additional jab at critics. “What I would say to them is that if the Secretary of Defense and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff are comfortable with it, I’m probably going to take my advice from them, and not from Sarah Palin,” he told George Stephanopolous. Dude, you can see Russia from Alaska. Step off and let a pro handle it. Who’s the bomb when it comes to defense and foreign policy?

US and Russia Reach New Arms Reduction Agreement

Let’s talk about the weird ways people die! Tonight, the Times writes about how New Yorkers die. Apparently, the city uses over 6,000 codes to classify accidental deaths. We looked at the list and found some doozys. These deaths are all classifications recognized by the 10th edition of the International Classification of Diseases manual . Doctors and the city use the manual to complete death certificates and compile statistics.
