Officials from the FBI arrested a man in NYC Friday morning after he allegedly tried to extort $250,000 from embattled celebrity chef Paula Deen. He threatened to release “true and damning” statements made by Deen unless she paid up, according to a federal criminal complaint filed in Georgia. Deen’s attorney went immediately to the FBI after she received both an email and follow up phone call from a man named Thomas Paculis. The complaint claims Paculis threatened to go public with information he claimed with bring hardship and financial ruin to Paula Deen. According to the FBI, Paculis’ email to Paula ‘s attorney read: “I am about to go public with statements refuting your clients statements about using the ‘N’ word in her business practices at Lady and Son’s.” “The statements are true and damning enough that the case for [ Lisa Jackson , the plaintiff suing Deen for discrimination] will be won on it’s merit alone.” The email went on to say there is a price for such information. The revelation that Deen had used the n-word , which came from a leaked deposition she gave as part of Jackson’s lawsuit, came to light just days before. Paculis was taken into custody and will appear in court July 16. As for the lawsuit, Deen wants it dismissed on grounds that Jackson’s claims are bogus – along with her stated reasons for being discriminated against. It is not clear how Deen’s racial slur admission ever went public.

According to Radar Online Amanda Bynes is suffering from the painful price of plastic surgery after having another cosmetic operation — to REMOVE her breast implants, the former child actress tells RadarOnline.com. The 27-year-old regretted having had the boob job she infamously flaunted in a photo she posted on Twitter wearing only a bra in May. “I got my breast implants removed,” Bynes confirmed via email to Radar. “They were uncomfortable… I prefer them out.” RadarOnline.com has learned the headline-grabbing ex-Nickelodeon star went under the knife in early June to try and return to a more natural look — an A cup. But she suffered a post-surgery complication, a source revealed. “A tube got lodged in her breast and Amanda was in pain,” an insider close to Bynes revealed. “But she is much better now and even told me, ‘They look amazing without the implants!’” Undeterred by the bad experience, she’s not done with her body enhancements and has booked yet another procedure – this time, on her nose — for this Saturday. “The change in her nose has made Amanda feel so more confident,” the source said. “She’s become addicted to the confidence each surgery gives her… She bemoaned that she she stopped working because she was so vain that she didn’t like how her nose was looking on camera.” Describing herself as previously looking “hideous” and feeling “insecure” because of her nose, the What I Like About You star told the pal that her next procedure is to shave down “the bone that forms the bridge of my nose.” And she said she won’t start her music career — Bynes is working with Waka Flocka Flame – until the surgeries on her nose are complete. “She can’t wait to start making music videos when her nose is finished,” the source added. Bynes was arrested in New York on May 23 in connection with criminal possession of drugs, reckless endangerment and tampering with physical evidence after allegedly throwing a bong out the window of her apartment. Sources say the NBA star showed up to meet a group of friends around 10:30 p.m. Kate Upton, 20, showed up an hour later to join the group: “The entire party looked like they were all having a great time in each other’s company – specifically Upton and Griffin who were very cozy with each other.” Upton and Blake Griffin “were cuddling and holding hands,” and although they were not seen making out,” they seemed pretty cute together.” Doesn’t it figure. Rumors are swirling that Amanda Bynes will launch her rap career (yes, seriously people) with the potential help of some pretty big names in music. Wyclef Jean won’t be one of them, though. Now, or ever. The musician made it clear that he has no intentions of joining forces with the embattled/retired actress, nor have they ever even met or spoken. Bynes was recently offered a record deal from NYC-based music group Chinga Chang Records, after she announced plans to launch a music career. Beyotch you’re not relevant anymore. According to The NY Post Amanda Bynes lunged at a man she believed took a picture of her in the lobby of Atlantic City casino Revel. Continuing her bizarre streak over the weekend, the former Nickelodeon child star chased Bobby Cohen around the lobby of the casino on Friday, demanding he hand over his iPhone. Bobby, 56, a recruitment expert from Long Island, was there celebrating Father’s Day weekend with his son Brett when they randomly bumped into the actress wearing her trademark platinum wig and huge black sunglasses. Brett, 22, a TV producer and comedian from Long Beach, said, “She ran into the lobby alone looking totally frazzled with a load of shopping bags and a bag to carry a dog. She tried to get into the elevator, but then came out again, so my dad thought he’d try and take a picture. “Amanda saw him and lunged at Dad trying to grab the phone, saying, ‘Sir, you can’t take a picture of me, give me the phone.’ She kept saying it over and over again until she was screaming. “My dad tried to walk away slowly, but she started following him, chasing him around the lobby, saying, ‘I need to see your phone now,’ she wanted to grab his phone and delete the picture. Finally, security stepped in and we managed to get away from her. “Amanda seemed pretty freaked out and flustered. What she didn’t know was that Dad didn’t even get a picture of her, he missed and took a picture of the floor.” The frazzled starlet was also spotted at Revel on Saturday night playing the slot machines accompanied by a white dog and wearing a dress with the security tags still attached. She continued with her bizarre tweets: “If you’re not hot, I don’t care about you.” And even more puzzling, “You get turned on, but what you are not by what you’re not.” Meanwhile, she reportedly claims her bizarre behavior is all an act. “All this has been an act and you know it!” Bynes allegedly texted a friend. “I am an actress, and know what I am doing . . . I got to 2 million followers, and now everyone wants me,” Bynes added. “I am smart and not stupid. Everyone mentions my name. The world loves me!” Ever since Amanda had some of that Kid Cudi peen, she has never been the same. We feel bad for her. Watching her is like watching a baby cry for attention. Get it together.
