For an ex foot fetishist…I would expect more out of her….. For those of you who don’t know anything about Leighton Meester…and I hope you don’t know anything about Leighton Meester….since me knowing about Leighton Meester is humiliating enough for all of us…. She was born in a halfway house to criminal parents…who instilled the important moral and ethical lesson of prostitution into her….which lead to her living in NYC….looking for her break…when along came a pornographer who cast her in some foot fetish videos that helped pay her rent…while still leaving her schedule open to sleep her way to the top….which she pretty much pulled off…getting cast in a major show….and now she’s doing model shoots in magazines that are a bit sexed up…but not sexed up enough for what I’d want out of a fetish model…you know tap into your roots and historical experience girl….foot jobs for everyone for fashion or some shit…. And unfortunately…I kinda dig her….but I like all broken women…it’s my thing….
God only knows how long the clean-up from Sandy is going to take but the MTA is already putting the Unwatering Crew to work in the city’s flooded subway tunnels. According to their Flickr site, the team is making progress: New York City Transit employees are pumping water out of two tunnels that carry the subway beneath the East River. The Cranberry Street Tunnel, carries the A and C trains between Brooklyn and Manhattan, and the 53rd Street Tunnel carries the E and M trains between Queens and Manhattan. Hit the flip for more shots of the flooded tunnels and the hardworking men who are down there pumping the waters out…
Kimmy’s got a gun! The reality tv star took to Twitter to show she’s got a weapon and she knows how to use it. Looks like she’s a pretty decent shot. Hit the flip to see a few more.
Do you think the NYC Marathon should be cancelled? NYC Marathon Cancelled After days of pressure from runners, politicians and the public to cancel the NYC Marathon in the wake of Hurricane Sandy , city officials and the event’s organizers decided Friday afternoon that the race would not be held Sunday. Via NY Times reports : Workers continued to construct the finish line of the New York City Marathon on Friday. The fallen crane from the One 57 building is seen in the background. Such a move would be historic — the marathon has been held every year since 1970, including the race in 2001 held two months after the 9/11 terrorist attacks — but seemed inevitable as opposition to the marathon swelled. Critics said that it was in poor taste to hold a foot race through the five boroughs while so many people in the area are still suffering from the storm’s damages, and that city services should focus on storm relief, not the marathon. Proponents of the marathon — notably Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Mary Wittenberg, director of the marathon — said the race would provide a needed morale boost, as well as an economic one. Among the many details that remain unclear are whether race would be postponed or canceled entirely and how popular the plan would be among the field of nearly 50,000 runners who were expected to compete in Sunday’s marathon, thousands of whom traveled to New York from other countries. Mayor Bloomberg and Wittenberg, who is chief executive of New York Road Runners, the organization that operates the marathon, repeatedly stood behind the plan, insisting it was best for the city. But many runners joined a chorus of politicians and area residents this week in speaking out against the plan to stage the marathon despite the widespread damage wrought by the storm Monday night. The public has spoken! Do you think it’s fair or foul that the NYC Marathon has been cancelled?
You guys know we love Anderson Cooper over here , so we were thrilled to have our Sr. Editor Janeé Bolden in the “Anderson Live” audience as “Blogger of the Day” for Friday’s show. In case you didn’t see the episode yourselves, here’s what Janeé had to say about it: It was a real joy taking a little break from the gossip blogging to live tweet for Anderson Live today — but it turns out I still got my celebrity fix. I have to give Anderson and guest host Nancy Grace credit for calling my attention to talk of Jay-Z and Beyoncé and other stars partying it up this week in NYC while many other residents were still without heat and power. We don’t miss much when it comes to that couple so it was a great talking point to kick off the show. Of course Hurricane Sandy dominated much of the discussion, with Anderson and Nancy weighing in that perhaps now might not be the best time for NYC to go forward with the NY marathon. I threw the question out to our Twitter followers and many suggested that we have the runners volunteer toward recovery efforts rather than race, while the majority of responses agreed that the marathon should be rescheduled. I had the honor of having a dressing room next to Glitzy the Pig’s, so like Anderson I also had a chance to meet Honey Boo Boo’s former pet. Anderson showed a lot more bravery than I did though, because he actually held that thing! And long enough for it to stop squealing… I also enjoyed seeing Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members Phaedra Parks and Porsha Stewart . Phaedra managed to get a little shameless self promotion in for her side hustles doing a fitness video and running a mortuary business. When I tweeted the name of the workout DVD (Donkey Booty) some of the responses were pure comedy. I’m not sure Phaedra will live up to her goal of becoming the Vera Wang of funerals but she’s definitely proven she has some entertainment value. The main segment on Chris and Brittni Colleps was pretty difficult to stomach. We’ve featured Brittni on Bossip.com before so I was familiar with her case. She’s the former Texas high school teacher who was video taped having sex with five of her students — despite being married with three kids! The audience was definitely shocked with the details of the case, but I couldn’t help but feel a little bit bad for Brittni. Not only was she apologetic, her hubby Chris has also forgiven her and credits their faith in God with helping their marriage survive. Chris even blames himself because he committed adultery first! Still, if the five years she was sentenced to in jail weren’t bad enough, Nancy dished out a pretty tough tongue lashing that was only slightly outdone by an audience member! I wouldn’t be able to do justice to what the man (who was also a teacher) had to say, so you guys will definitely have to check out the episode and see for yourselves. Thanks again to Anderson Live for having me! I hope to be back soon. You can watch the episode HERE if you missed it! Enjoy Janeé’s photos below:

Health risks are rising as trash and vermin rise days after the storm! Many rats may have drowned but there are plenty of them left that are expected to resurface in staggering numbers once things have settled down after the wake of the storm. According to The Daily News : In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, fears were rife that the streets would be overrun with rats escaping the flooded tunnels and subways. But it now looks as if those fears may have been groundless as there have not, as yet, been any reports of rodents roaming the streets. Experts are saying the water likely rushed into tunnels so fast that the rats – despite being strong swimmers – had no time to escape and died. Sam Miller, a spokesman for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, told Forbes the city has not seen an increase in rats above ground caused by Sandy, adding that while flooding normally does drive them to the streets, it ‘also drowns young rats in their burrows and can reduce the rat population’. Rodentologist Robert Corrigan, who works with the city on keeping populations under control, told LiveScience that baby rats will likely die unless they are carried to safety by their mothers. Another expert, Herwig Leirs, a rodentologist at the University of Antwerp in Belgium, confirmed that most would drown. ‘Rats will be carried away by the current and won’t be strong enough to swim to the surface and breathe, or they’ll be pushed to grates, they will get stuck there and they won’t be strong enough to swim against the current,’ he said. However, the rats that are able to survive the floodwaters will be treated to a surge of garbage and food to feast on once things have dried out. According to NBC, approximately 28 million rats live in the subway tunnels of New York. Whether they pose a health risk in the aftermath of the hurricane depends how quickly the water evaporates and how quickly subway crews can clean out the tunnels. Rick Ostfeld of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies in Milbrook, New York, earlier told The Huffington Post that if rats were forced out of their lairs, this could result in a rise in infectious diseases carried by urban rodents, including leptospirosis, hantavirus, typhus, salmonella, and even the plague. Mark Sanchez has reportedly lost twice this week; first in overtime to the rival New England Patriots on Sunday, and now when it comes to Eva Longoria. The Jets quarterback is no longer hitting the gorgeous actress with any fly patterns… if you know what we mean! “Mark adores and respects Eva,” Sanchez’s rep tells Us Weekly . “It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends.” Longoria went public with her seconds professional sports dalliance (she was married to Spurs point guard Tony Parker, of course) in September, while the two had been spotted out multiple times in NYC. “There was no drama,” another insider tells the tabloid. “They just have completely different schedules and lifestyles.” It’s true. Longoria is used to winning. Sanchez? Not so much.
This is just sad… Pregnant NYC Woman Stabbed Just One Day Before Wedding A woman who was eight months pregnant was found stabbed to death Saturday in her apartment, the day before her wedding, police said. According to Huffingtonpost : Vindalee Smith, 38, was found on the floor of her apartment in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn with a gaping wound in her neck. It wasn’t clear how long she’d been dead before the body was discovered by her landlord. Her unborn child did not survive. There was no sign of forced entry, and no weapon was recovered, police said. Investigators are looking for a possible suspect. They interviewed her friends and family, and spoke to her fiance. “I can’t even begin to imagine who would want to do that,” her friend, Sybil Samuel, told local newspapers. “It would be the devil, to kill a woman with a child in her stomach. They killed two people.” Smith had four children in their teens and 20s, friends said. A baby shower had been planned for Saturday evening, followed by a small wedding Sunday. Friends told reporters that Smith had met her fiance about a year ago. Smith was a devout Seventh-Day Adventist and attended New Dimension Church, where she was supposed to get married. Congregation members were concerned when she didn’t show up for morning service. “She was always on time_ always the first person at church,” Tyler Harrigan told the Daily News of New York. “When the news came to the church, the whole church broke down. We started to bawl. All the children were crying.” What an incredibly sick and evil crime. May mother and child rest in peace.
