Put On Blast: O.J. Simpson’s Ex-Girlfriend Says He Told Her, “Something Bad Will Happen To You Like Nicole”

This is not a good week for O.J. Simpson . O.J. Simpson Threatened Ex-Girlfriend According to Radar Online He reemerged into public much heavier, noticeably older and still after all these years a curiosity. And in the wake of O.J. Simpson’s appearance, now the characters from his past are returning. Enter Christie Prody, the blonde, vaguely Nicole Brown-like figure who was O.J.’s long-time girlfriend during the years after his acquittal for the murders of his ex wife and Ron Goldman in 1994. Prody, ever the hanger-on with her own problems, now comes forward in a new interview and claims that O.J. threatened her, alluding to the infamous murders. “He would say things to me like, ‘You better watch out so something bad doesn’t happen to you like Nicole,’” she tells Inside Edition in an interview airing Tuesday. “I was young and so he could try to shape me, mold me, into what he wanted.” Prody, 38, claims that O.J. told her to dye her hair blonde like Nicole’s. (Her hair is now back to brunette.) She was 21 when she first met the now imprisoned former NFL star and he was 46. “It was very hard to deal with that every day, comparing me to Nicole,” she says, according to the New York Post. She added that Simpson would say, “Nicole did this, Nicole did that. You should do this, that’s what she did.” They spent 12 years together and neither was adverse to the party lifestyle, a source told Radar. “She had her problems that’s for sure. Some were made public and some weren’t,” one source familiar with the situation told Radar. “She liked the fame and O.J. had money. There was a lot of partying going on.” Simpson was seen in public last week for the first time in years as he was granted a hearing in a bid to overturn the conviction that landed him in a Nevada prison after his 2008 arrest for robbery. He claims his lawyer botched the case. Prody, who hasn’t seen him in five years, says she was shocked at how much weight O.J. has gained “I had to take a double take,” she tells Inside Edition. “I can’t believe he’s gotten a lot bigger and very grey since I last saw him. “Image was the most important thing to him. Being good looking was important to him. And even more so, the girl on his arm had to be good looking.” She still sees the old O.J. though. “O.J. is very charming,” she says in the interview. “He’s very charming and he tells you what you want to hear. He’s very believable.” Perhaps to some people. If he told us something bad might happen to us like Nicole, we would have popped him in his head. Splash News/AP

O.J. Simpson in Court: Juice to Testify in Bed to Weasel Out of Robbery Conviction

O.J. Simpson is expected in court Monday as he asks a judge to grant him a new trial on grounds that his former attorney mishandled his case. Nevada inmate No. 1027820, who’s serving a 9-to-33-year sentence, will be in Clark County District Court for the start of his five-day hearing. Acquitted of murder in 1995, the NFL great was later convicted in 2008 of leading a sports memorabilia heist at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room. O.J. never testified in his murder trial or in the 2008 kidnapping/robbery case when he was convicted, but is expected to take the stand now. On what grounds? And how does he think he can win? Much of his testimony is expected to point fingers at his former attorney, Yale Galanter, who Simpson believes fumbled the handling of his case. Simpson said he told Galanter he planned to confront two sports memorabilia dealers to retrieve personal items he believed were stolen from him. “I fully disclosed my plan to [Galanter], and he advised me that I was within my legal rights,” Simpson wrote, saying that his attorney knew his plans. O.J. added that Galanter told him it was acceptable as long as he did not trespass or use physical force, and that the lawyer’s mistakes did not end there. Simpson also alleged in the statement that Galanter failed to tell him of a plea deal that would have gotten him two years in prison, the AP reported. “Had I understood that there was an actual chance of conviction, I would have accepted such an offer,” Simpson wrote in a sworn statement. His appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court was denied in 2010. As his current sentence stands, O.J., 65, won’t be eligible for parole until he is 70.

O.J. Simpson-Khloe Kardashian Bombshell: Alleged Killer Changes Will to Include Rumored Offspring!

O.J. Simpson believes Khloe Kardashian is his daughter and plans on changing his will to reflect this fact. According to a new story in The National Enquirer , that is. The same tabloid that first floated the Kardashian-belongs-to-O.J. rumor in January is now fueling that seemingly absurd allegation by claiming Simpson wants to “do the right thing” and leave a sizable chunk of his estate to the reality star. Moreover, he wants to do it at older daughter Arnelle’s expense, an anonymous insider claims, because Simpsons thinks she has squandered his money on a lavish, drunken lifestyle. Currently sitting in a prison cell, convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping , O.J. has stashed away a couple million in the Cayman Islands and can expect more over the years due to his NFL pension, which pays him an annual sum of $300,000. Based on this story, Simpson told his four kids – Arnelle, Jason, Sydney and Justin – that he’s changing his will to give a lot of that fortune to Khloe… and their reaction was less than enthusiastic. “At first they thought he was just making a big joke, but when they realized he was serious, they were flabbergasted,” says a source. “They are furious and wonder why they have to share the wealth with a complete stranger.” The children should just be thankful they’re alive, really. But they don’t see it that way. “By cutting Arnelle out of his will, his kids feel O.J. is being cruel,” adds the insider. “And they think that adding Khloe is just plain revenge. I’m sure if O.J. kicks the bucket and leaves Khloe money in his will, she’s not going to turn it down.” We’re equally sure. Almost as sure as we are that Khloe Kardashian is not actually O.J. Simpson’s daughter. [Photo: WENN.com/Fayesvision]

O.J. Simpson Appeals Conviction, Alleges Racial Bias

O.J. Simpson says his conviction for robbery and kidnapping was totally flawed because black jurors were wrongly excluded and the judge was prejudiced. Really. Addressing a three-justice panel of the Nevada Supreme Court, his attorney Yale Galanter, said O.J.’s guilty verdict should be overturned for said reasons. Simpson, who was acquitted after allegedly killing his ex-wife and her friend in 1995, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the 2007 kidnapping/robbery. Galanter said a litany of flaws called the outcome of the 2008 case into question, however, saying the judge served as a de facto prosecutor against O.J. “I don’t think this trial was handled in a fair and impartial manner,” Galanter said of Judge Jackie Glass, who he believes was biased towards the Juice. Worst. Appeal. Ever. Galanter cited an argument with the judge where, he discovered later, a bailiff was standing behind him during the exchange, handcuffs at the ready. “I had no idea that was happening. But the mental picture that creates for jurors is devastating for a lawyer trying to have credibility,” Galanter said. Also devastating? O.J. when he’s in a bad mood. Right, Christie Prody ? Prosecutors also wrongly excluded the only two African-Americans in the jury pool strictly because they might empathize with the defense, he added. “Their speculation on what these African-American jurors may have done had no place in this court room,” he added, saying it “smacked of prejudice.” “It was improper, it was not right,” he said. Same could be said of slitting your ex’s throat or hiring thugs to rob a memorabilia dealer, but no matter . State prosecutors denied the two jurors had been unfairly excluded. The court will rule on the appeal of O.J. Simpson ‘s conviction at a later date.
