James Franco and Keegan Allen: Shirtless in Bed for Some Reason!

James Franco sure does love getting shirtless with other men. We’re not judging, we’re just taking note of the actor’s Bound 3 video alongside a half-naked Seth Rogen and also of a picture that went live this week on his Instagram account. It’s of Franco and Pretty Little Liars star Keegan Allen, both relaxing happily in bed, no clothes to be seen: Wrote Allen of the photo: “Loved seeing “of mice and men. And @jamesfrancotv showed me how to do a proper bed selfie.” The actors are featured in the film Palo Alto, based on Franco’s book. It premieres tomorrow at the Tribeca Film Festival. Franco, meanwhile, has a history with one of Allen’s colleagues on the aforementioned ABC Family hit. Remember when he sang a parody of Boyfriend alongside Ashley Benson and was also rumored to be dating that Pretty Little Liars beauty? Fun times. Eric Hill, The Bachelorette Contestant, Went on First Solo Date with Andi Dorfman

The late Bachelorette contestant Eric Hill , who died following a paragliding accident, went on the upcoming season’s first one-on-one date with Andi Dorfman. Hill had already been sent home from the ABC series at the time of his death on Wednesday, April 23, but at least initially, he and Andi hit it off. Eric, who was only 30, and the Atlanta-based Assistant D.A., 26, were photographed hitting the beach together in Ventura, Calif., on March 14. “They had a beach picnic,” a witness told Us Weekly . While Eric Hill was ultimately sent home by Andi Dorfman , he definitely made an impression on the show’s crew as well as The Bachelorette herself. Longtime host Chris Harrison spoke about him while appearing on The View Wednesday, saying everyone involved ” loved having him around .” Hill was in a medically induced coma from Sunday until Wednesday, when his sister Karen Tracy shared via Facebook that he had passed away. “He gave us such a gift of life fully lived and fully shared,” she wrote. “It is hard to think of life without his bright spark, but we know he is on to new adventures.” Before joining The Bachelorette Season 10, Eric Hill had been on a quest to visit all 195 United Nations-recognized countries in just 1,200 days. “I remember wanting to see every country in the world since I was in kindergarten,” Hill is quoted as saying on his official GO With Eric website. “Of course there is sadness and injustice in the world, but I want to focus on the good, the awesomeness that exists in every country I visit.” R.I.P. President Obama Blasts GOP Minority Voter Suppression At The 2014 NAN Convention – “You’d Think This Wouldn’t Be An Argument Any More” [Video]

President Obama Talks GOP Voter Suppression Efforts At 2014 NAN Convention Earlier today in New York City, President Obama took to the stage at the 2014 National Action Network Convention to address an intimate crowd of press, political peers, a handful of celebrity guests and a small group of lucky ticket holders. During his short and simple but fired-up speech the POTUS addressed the growing problem of voter suppression across the country in anticipation of the upcoming mid-term elections. BOSSIP was in the building to hear the President speak and slam Republicans for openly making it more difficult to vote when they themselves are trying to gain votes. Check out a few excerpts from his speech below. On certain groups of people (minorities, women, elderly, etc.) still having to fight for voting rights in the U.S.: “This recent effort to restrict the vote has not been lead by both parties.   It’s been lead by the Republican party.  If your strategy depends on having fewer people showing up to vote, that’s not a sign of strength. That’s a sign of weakness. And not only is ultimately bad politics, ultimately it is bad for the country.” You’d think this wouldn’t be an argument anymore, but the stark, simple truth is this:  The right to vote is threatened today, in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago Across the country, Republicans have led efforts to make it harder and harder for people to vote.” On continuing to fight for equal voting rights: “We’ve GOT to continue to press for equal voting rights. Every American that wants to vote should be able to vote.    The single most important thing we can do to protect our right to vote, is to vote.” On being questioned about the validity of his birth certificate last year: “Just to be clear, I do know where my birth certificate is (laughs). I think it’s still up on a website somewhere. Do you guys remember that? That was crazy. I haven’t thought about that in a while.” You can watch a clip from from President Obama’s speech earlier today, below. Voter suppression is one of the biggest threats to the minority community in terms of getting our voices heard, so hopefully people are paying attention to the GOP suppression efforts and finding ways to fight back.

As if you weren’t starting to hate selfies enough, that spontaneous one between President Barack Obama and Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz is a fake. Phone maker Samsung confirms that it signed a promotional deal with the World Series MVP just in time for the Red Sox team visit to the White House. The Korean company’s Twitter account posted Ortiz’s photo Tuesday: The company famously pulled a similar stunt in March with Ellen DeGeneres’ Oscar selfie , which went viral and featured a collection of Hollywood stars. Before anyone learned that Ellen’s impromptu-looking A-list picture was a sly Samsung promotional idea, it became the most re-tweeted image EVER. Samsung said in a statement to the Boston Globe: “It was an honor to help him capture such an incredible and genuine moment of joy and excitement. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are supposedly talking all the time lately, rekindling rumors that a reconciliation may not be off the table just yet. She’s bought a new house, and sold the mansion they shared (to Kaley Cuoco), while Lamar moved to Spain (briefly) for his basketball career. However, a new report says that the two are in constant contact … and that Kardashian has decided to install a basketball court at her new home. Could Khloe be second-guessing her big divorce decision? Odom has famously said that Khloe will always be his wife . “I want to make it work with Khloe,” the baller has said, reportedly certain she’ll take him back and willing to go all-in now that he’s back in the U.S. It sounds like she may be feeling the same way. Maybe. A supposed insider has revealed that Khloe and Lamar are still “talking all the time” and “It’s not over yet,” despite the pair’s epic split last year. Khloe is allegedly “building a subterranean basketball court” in the home she bought from Justin Bieber , and Lamar “views this as a good sign.” “Her installing a basketball court at home really says something,” the insider said, although it’s unclear what. “He thinks he could get Khloe back.” That ship may have sailed when he shacked up with Polina Polonsky and filmed that weird ass crack video, but hey man, keep holding out hope. This three-year old rose to viral fame this week after his mother filmed her toddler arguing with her over cupcakes . “Listen, Linda, Linda, honey!” Mateo kept saying to the camera, trying to talk his way into having dessert for dinner… to no avail.
