First, Miley is GQ’s least influential person and now she may be Time magazine’s person of year. Oh the fawkery. Miley Cyrus Leading in Time Magazine’s Person Of The Year Poll It appears that if bad twerking can get you on the VMAs, it can get you anywhere. According to Radar Online: In a new Miley Cyrus outrage, the twerking star is currently leading in a Time magazine person of the year reader poll! Incredibly, Cyrus, 21, is getting 29 percent of the vote with fans considering her more newsworthy than President Barack Obama, or Pope Francis, Entertainment Weekly reports. And the New York Daily News writes that the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s nearest competition, Indian politician Narendra Modi, is ten percent behind in the voting for the prestigious poll. But those who are appalled by the pop star’s wild behavior should rely on cooler heads prevailing at the prestigious magazine. According to the rules, Time’s actual person of the year is decided by the publication’s editors. Watch Person of Interest Online: Season 3 Episode 10

Person of Interest followed up last week’s sudden, shocking death of Carter by honoring her memory and dealing with its aftermath in Season 3 Episode 10. Carter’s funeral, set to Johnny Cash’s version of NIN’s “Hurt,” set the tone for an hour that centered on Reese and Shaw’s aggressive pursuit of Simmons. Meanwhile, a heartbroken Finch found his world falling apart, making for some a emotional and standout performance from the great Michael Emerson. As CBS procedural installments go, Person of Interest Season 3 Episode 10 was particularly moving, and helped establish it as one of TV’s best. Like New Girl in the top of the hour, FOX’s The Mindy Project Season 2 Episode 10 celebrated Thanksgiving in hilarious, absurd fashion last night. The occasion also doubled as Josh and Corinne’s wedding day, with Mindy date-less until Peter stepped in, shaved his face and got the party started. Adam Pally and Mindy Kaling, as expected, are a great comedic duo, proving the former’s addition to the cast this fall is something to be thankful for. Meanwhile, we learned more about Danny’s background and saw him in a different light than we typically do. Think his father will play a role down the line? Batkid Miles Wins Internet, Nation; Celebrities React on Twitter

Batkid has taken Gotham, and the Internet, by storm. Five-year-old Miles lived out the dream of a lifetime as he became ” Batkid ” for a day in San Francisco on Friday, with the help of The Make-A-Wish Foundation. Diagnosed with leukemia at 18 months old, the boy ended his treatments in June and is now in remission, which is by far the most important part of the story. What followed was awesome, though. Batkid Makes Way Through San Francisco San Francisco turned itself into Gotham City, and thousands of bystanders cheered as Miles saved the city from some of Batman’s iconic adversaries. The Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area chapter outlined several crimes that Miles was asked to solve before being celebrated at a ceremony hosted by the mayor. Batkid’s crime-fighting spectacle made national news, and some big stars shared their reactions on social media. Here are some of the many celebrity responses … Ben Affleck: Batkid. Batkid Makes Way Through San Francisco, City Honors Young Cancer Survivor

Fear not, residents of San Francisco. Your streets are especially safe today. In one of the cooler stories of the year, over 12,000 people lined the streets of that city today to honor a five-year old named Miles. The toddler – who likes to “be a superhero,” according to his mom – has been battling leukemia since he was 18 months old, but had his final treatment in June. Batkid Makes Way Through San Francisco To celebrate the occasion, the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the Bay Area helped organize a Gotham City-like experience for Miles today: he rode around in a Batmobile… he rescued a damsel in distress… he was given the key to the city at City Hall. The San Francisco Chronicle even printed a special edition of the paper and handed it out to those in Union Square for the occasion: Said Audrey Cooper, managing editor of the Chronicle, via email: “This is what I love about San Francisco. We’re a quirky city that loves freethinkers. We totally understand a 5-year-old cancer survivor who wants to dress up like Batman.” President Barack Obama even got in on the trending topic, re-Tweeting a picture of Batkid along with the caption “Here he comes!” Here he comes, indeed. Well done, San Francisco.

Brandon is putting US Airways in their place. Brandon T. Jackson Says He Was Not Drunk During Flight US Airways needs to chill with trying to make Brandon the villain…they’re going to fawk up and walk right into a lawsuit. According to TMZ: Brandon T. Jackson says 13 people on his US Airways flight will back up his story that a flight attendant hurled the “N” word at him and made another racial comment. Brandon’s rep tells TMZ … the incident Monday did not go down the way the airline claims. The rep says he was NOT drunk, NOT loud, and NOT disruptive. Here’s the way Brandon says it went … He was running lines for a script he had with some random passenger who was sitting next to him. The flight attendant then accused them of being too loud, but Brandon says the noisy ones were actually in the row in front of them. So the “Tropic Thunder” star claims he then went to the back of the plane for sandwiches, and the flight attendant confronted him, told him she didn’t care if he was Obama’s son and he needed to sit down. He also says she hurled an epithet, “seemingly in jest.” He claimed earlier she used the “N” word. Brandon says the flight attendant beat him to the punch and complained to the pilot and when they landed he was questioned by authorities, who determined he was NOT intoxicated as the airline claimed. Brandon says he has 13 passengers who waited around to back up his story. The airline tells us they stand by their story … Brandon was being a disorderly, drunken douchebag. Brandon has his 13 people. US Airways…where are yours?

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on the American Idol host’s talk show yesterday, Kanye said “there’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue.” But that’s not the only praise he heaped on Ray J’s former sex tape partner. Kim Kardashian: More Influential Than Michelle Obama? “She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday,” Kanye said of Kim said. “And collectively, we’re the most influential with clothing. No one is looking at what [Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.” That is true, ‘Ye. We’re not sure what your point is, but we grant you that Kim Kardashian bikini pictures are more prevalent and popular than those of the First Lady. Is West trying to be controversial by saying Kardashian is more influential than Michelle Obama?
