Diane Sawyer: Drunk During ABC Election Night Coverage?

It’s unclear if she was just really excited by President Obama’s reelection win last night, but Diane Sawyer appeared drunk on ABC News. We’re talking like full-on wasted here. Slurring words, bobbing, weaving, rambling about the music, waxing philosophical about symbolism in the exclamation point in Obama’s slogan, generally making no sense … you name it. With due respect to Donald Trump’s rant , this was the LOL and WTF performance of the night. Check out these amazing, possibly drunk Diane Sawyer highlights and see for yourself: Diane Sawyer Drunk?

Harry Styles Admits to Pregnancy Scare, Advises Fans: Use Condoms!

Harry Styles covers the latest issue of OK! in Great Britain, opening up to the tabloid about something rather personal: His first time having sexual intercourse. How did it go? “I was scared I got the girl pregnant,” Styles tells the magazine. “And that was despite the fact we were safe. Luckily, we were fine.” In light of the incident, and just based on common sense, Harry also used this platform to send his fans a message. A very important one: “I would never risk not wearing a condom, it’s too much of a risk. If you’re not ready for a child, then don’t risk it.” Take notes, kids. And also remember: Styles is NOT dating fellow One Direction member Louis Tomlinson.

Lindsay Lohan: Police Are OUT TO GET ME!

Despite being a compulsive liar and having no one else to blame but herself for probably two-thirds of her problems, Lindsay Lohan remains convinced police are out to get her. Lohan, who is facing jail time for her most recent probation violation, is telling friends that the cops have a vendetta against her and will stop at nothing to bring her down. Best of all, Lindsay is STILL CLAIMING that she wasn’t driving when her Porsche slammed into a truck in June. Officials do not concur and will charge her with lying to police . LiLo claimed she was a passenger in her car, and that her assistant was the one who was actually driving and caused the Pacific Coast Highway Crash. Yet witnesses say she was in fact behind the wheel . Obviously. Lindsay is said to be “terrified” of going back to jail, especially since Judge Stephanie Sautner made it clear she would revoke her probation and send her ass back there. If she breaks the law again, that is. Sautner can revoke probation on mere suspicion – without having to wait for a conviction – of a crime, but it remains to be seen if she will. She’s tough, but fair after all. Lindsay says she’s done a good job obeying the law since her no contest plea in the jewelry heist case, which tells you a lot about her self-perception problems. Still, she plans to throw herself at the mercy of the court, supposedly, in an attempt to stay out of the pokey. What do you think: should Lindsay Lohan do hard time ?   Yes, that train wreck brat will never learn otherwise! No, quit trying to make an example out of her, haters! View Poll »

Victoria Jackson on Obama Reelection: Evil FTW!

SNL alum and Tea Party member Victoria Jackson will see Donald Trump’s rant and raise you an extra dose of post-President Obama reelection bitterness. “America died,” she tweeted last night. “I can’t stop crying. America died.” Apparently displeased with the 2012 election results , she went on: “The Democrat party who voted God out of their platform and adopted Romans 1 as their platform won. In the Good vs. Evil Battle, today… evil won.” Jackson, a devout Christian, then did the Christian thing and ripped Christians. “Thanks a lot Christians, for not showing up. You disgust me,” she wrote. Amen?

Four More Years!!!! Barack Knocked Mittens OUT By More Than 100 Electoral Votes!!!

Barack won before Ohio, Virgina, and Florida’s votes even came in tonight! With his voice strong but quivering with passion, Barack gave a heartfelt speech after a long night of waiting for the electoral votes to come in. POTUS let us know that “The role of citizens of our democracy does not end with your vote” after he thanked US ALL for campaigning and voting during the last few months. According to The Huffington Post : President Barack Obama did not just win reelection tonight. His victory signaled the irreversible triumph of a new, 21st-century America: multiracial, multi-ethnic, global in outlook and moving beyond centuries of racial, sexual, marital and religious tradition. Obama, the mixed-race son of Hawaii by way of Kansas, Indonesia, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, won reelection in good part because he not only embodied but spoke to that New America, as did the Democratic Party he leads. His victorious coalition spoke for and about him: a good share of the white vote (about 45 percent in Ohio, for example); 70 percent or so of the Latino vote across the country, according to experts; 96 percent of the African-American vote; and large proportions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The Republican Party, by contrast, has been reduced to a rump parliament of Caucasian traditionalism: white, married, church-going — to oversimplify only slightly. “It’s a catastrophe,” said GOP strategist Steve Schmidt. “This is, this will have to be, the last time that the Republican Party tries to win this way.” The GOP chose as its standard-bearer Mitt Romney, whose own Mormon Church until recent decades discriminated officially against blacks. His campaign made little serious effort to reach out to Hispanics voters, and Romney hurt himself by taking far-right positions on immigration during the GOP primaries. He made no effort whatsoever in the black community. Obama reached out not only racially and ethnically, but in terms of lifestyle. Analysts made fun of, and Republicans derided, his campaign’s focus on discrete demographic and social slices of the electorate, including gays and lesbians. But the message was one about the future, not the American past. U.S. Census numbers tell the story. In the first decade of the new millennium, the Asian-American population rose 43.3 percent, the African-American population 12.3 percent, the Latino community 43 percent — and the white population just 5.7 percent. To be sure, the president won because of his stand on the issues — health care reform, Wall Street regulation, the auto industry bailout, among others. But his victory is something more: a sense that we are all in this together as a society, no matter who we are or how we live our lives. I saw this new America at the heart of the Obama reelection effort, in their campaign offices. In one office in Virgina, for example, the local campaign manager was Pakistani-American, the volunteers were of every race and background, the people heading out to handle the signup drive were Hispanic, and the event they were working on was a concert by Bruce Springsteen. Not only did Barack and his mayne man Joe win the electoral vote, they also won the popular vote too. While Mitt won the white vote (SMH), he failed to bring in votes with minorities. Barack also brought in votes from more than 60% of young voters (those ages 18-29) and, even though he fell from 44% to 39% of the overall white vote this election year, he still stomped Robney with a huge lead. To quote CNN “This is a crisis amongst the Republican Party”. Crisis or not, we’re pretty sure POUTUS can get a lot more isht done than Mittens would’ve been able to over the course of the next four years. Images via facebook
