Tagg Romney on Debate: I Wanted to Punch Obama!

Mitt Romney’s son, Tagg, wanted to tag the Prez in the face the other night. During a radio interview, the oldest of the Republican White House candidate’s five sons was asked for his thoughts on Tuesday’s presidential debate with Barack Obama. Tagg Romney on Taking a Swing at Obama His reaction to the often heated affair moderated by Candy Crowley ? Tagg’s first instinct was to walk out there and “take a swing at him,” he said of hearing President Obama accuse his father of lying, but “of course you can’t do that.” There’s “lots of secret service around,” for one. Also, this is “part of the process.” One that mercifully comes to an end, for better or worse, on November 6. Tagg, who was clearly kidding about throwing literal punches, added, “You know they will do everything they can to try to make my dad into someone he’s not. We signed up for it.” “We gotta kinda sit there and take our punches, then send them back the other way.” Who ya got?   Obama-Biden Romney-Ryan View Poll »

Candy Crowley, CNN Debate Moderator, Accused of Anti-Romney Bias

CNN has come under fire for moderator Candy Crowley’s performance at this week’s presidential debate , but the network brass is standing by its political correspondent. Candy Crowley Debate Highlights Some observers feel she was disproportionately harsh on Mitt Romney. The network doesn’t believe it, but worries about anything that “calls into question CNN’s impartiality.” CNN’s Managing Editor Mark Whitaker sent an email around the office praising Crowley and trying to blunt criticism that she was biased toward President Barack Obama. It reads: “Let’s start with a big round of applause for Candy Crowley for a superb job under the most difficult circumstances imaginable.” “She and her team had to select and sequence questions in a matter of hours, and then had to deal with a tricky format, nervous questioners, and aggressive debaters, all while shutting out pre-debate attempts to spin and intimidate her. She pulled it off masterfully. ” “The reviews on Candy’s performance have been overwhelmingly positive but Romney supporters are going after her on two points, no doubt because their man did not have as good a night as he had in Denver .” “On the legitimacy of Candy fact-checking Romney on Obama’s Rose Garden statement, it should be stressed that she was just stating a fact. Obama did talk about an act (or acts) of terror, no matter what you think he meant at the time.” “On why Obama got more time to speak, it should be noted that Candy and her commission producers tried to keep it even but that Obama went on longer largely because he speaks more slowly.” “We’re going to do a word count to see whether, as in Denver, Romney actually got more words in even if he talked for a shorter period of time.” You be the judge: Was Candy biased?   Yes No View Poll » Who won the debate Tuesday?   Barack Obama Mitt Romney View Poll » Who should win November 6?   Obama-Biden Romney-Ryan View Poll »

Michelle Obama vs. Ann Romney: Fuchsia Fashion Face-Off!

While Barack Obama and Mitt Romney tangled in their second presidential debate last night, First Lady Michelle Obama and Ann Romney put on a show of solidarity. Dressed in hot pink – or fuchsia, to be more specific – in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the candidates respective spouses put their own touches on the color. Michelle Obama wore a sheath and matching bolero by Michael Kors, while Ann Romney opted for a softer look, with capped sleeves, a rounded collar and turquoise necklace. The question: Who dressed best at last night’s debate? Vote below!

The Blame Game: The Game Says It’s Camel’s Fault That Barry O Had A Weak Azz Performance During The First Presidential Debate, Plus Defends Stacey Dash

Doesn’t this ninja every get tired of hearing himself talk?? The Game Blames Jay-Z For President Obama’s Poor Debate Performance Via V103/CBSLocal With the second Presidential debate on deck, The Game has joined the ranks of rappers for Obama, while defending the newly minted Mitt Romney supporter Stacey Dash. The Game admitted that President Obama‘s debate performance from October 3 was lackluster, but he is still standing by the president. “I’ve seen the debate: words were fumbled, certain topics weren’t covered correctly,” he told CBS Local. “But he’s Obama. He probably was listening to Jay-Z before he got up there and was a little bit in the zone and couldn’t get it together. But I love Obama he got my vote still.” To be sure, Obama has bragged in the past that he has Jay-Z in his iPad and the the two have enjoyed a cozy relationship during this election cycle. The rap mogul and his pop star wife, Beyonce, hosted a $40,000 per plate fundraiser in September for the president. Jayceon goes on to say: “Let me tell you something, Obama could have comeoout and said his A-B-Cs in the debate and he would have gotten my vote,” he told CBS Local. “I like Obama, he’s cool he got swag and that’s my president. Mitt Romney is a Republican. I’m not down with anything they stand for. Not to diss anybody else’s beliefs and what their vote is but I like Obama. He can’t do me no wrong.” The Compton MC also took a second to defend his friend Stacey Dash’s decision to support Money Makin’ Mitt. “I don’t understand what everybody’s gripe is with that,” he said. “We live in the world [where] we try as people to become more non-racial. Every black person in the world doesn’t support Obama. …Why are we slamming her? Maybe she has different views and opinions, she should be entitled.” Maybe Barry O was listening to the wrong Jay-Z song, maybe he should have played “99 Problems (But A Mitt Ain’t One), instead of soft and polite “Excuse Me Miss”. As far as Stacey Dash goes, who cares who she votes for, just make sure YOUR Black, White, Mexican, Asian, Indian, a$$ is at the polls on November 6th!
