We probably don’t need to tell you that the goal of reality television is not to perfectly depict reality but to craft a compelling narrative and attract an audience. As a result, the shows we love don’t always provide an accurate depiction of the lives we’re looking in on. And according to Fernanda Flores, the producers of 90 Day Fiance offered viewers a wildly inaccurate portrayal of her brief relationship with Jonathan Rivera. As you likely already know, Jonathan and Fernanda’s breakup was as ugly as they get — and the whole mess is far from over. In fact, last we checked in on him, Rivera was talking about having Flores deported . For now at least, Fernanda is still living in America, and clearly, she’s not about to take Jonathan’s threats lying down. Fernanda Flores Explains 90 Day Fiance Split, Accuses Jonathan of Abuse in Iconic 44-MINUTE Video Flores recently posted a 44-minute video in which she offered her side of the story — and needless to say, the whole thing is not terribly flattering to Jonathan. One of Fernanda and Jonathan’s most memorable spats came early in their season when Fernanda discovered a pair of women’s underwear in one of Jonathan’s drawers. In her video, Fernanda revealed that she actual uncovered several indicators of Jonathan’s promiscuity, and only one of them was featured on the show: “That same week, I found a lot of stuff—not just underwear,” she says in the clip. “Sex toys, pictures, movies and stuff. Dude, you’re supposed to have left your past behind and start fresh with me. I know you’re a single man. I know that you’re older than me…but I wasn’t understanding why,” she explained. “I realized not everything is how it seems.” But Fernanda didn’t spend her entire 44-minute rant focusing on Jonathan’s possible infidelity. No, she also addressed his many other red flags, including the fact that he “likes to drink way too much” and “wasn’t careful with money at all.” “He will make good money but spend,” she stated. “He didn’t want to have a plan. He didn’t want to listen to me and I wasn’t understanding.” At one point, Fernanda alleged that she was “in a really abusive relationship,” citing a specific incident in which Jonathan got physical with her after she accused him of cheating: “I remember me looking through his office and stuff and I found a wrapper of a condom,” Fernanda recalled. “I flipped out. I literally flipped out. I yell at him and I tell him, ‘What the f–k is this?’ I was so mad. “His reaction was grab me from the neck, push me into the wall. ‘That’s not mine. You’re crazy.'” On Monday, Fernanda posted a message to her Instagram page explaining that she was forced to delete the video for legal reasons. She specified that she has not wavered in her stance and will post the video again as soon as she’s able: For his part, Rivera has issued a statement in which he denies Flores’ allegation and reveals that he intends to continue with deportation proceedings. “These allegations are completely false and my attorney will now be handling the situation,” Jonathan said. “Clearly, she will do whatever she has to in order to stay in this country.” We’re guessing this situation will get much worse before it starts to get any better. We wanted to share some of the stories the cast and crew told about what went on behind-the-scenes and how execs pitched the show to Keenan Ivory Wayans as a “black ‘Laugh-In.’” Check out the excerpts below via THR: Tommy Davidson, on why he got In Living Color over SNL: When I landed In Living Color, I was a hot comic. A week before getting the job I had met with Lorne Michaels in his office in 1990 [for a potential SNL spot]. He lined it up for me and said, “I don’t want a black comedian. Eddie Murphy was a mistake. I don’t want a person that stands out.” I was confused. I was born black. There’s not a zipper in the back of this thing.[A spokesperson for SNL replies: “This account is without merit. Chris Rock, Tim Meadows and Ellen Cleghorne were all hired into the cast between 1990 and 1991.”] Jim Carrey, on sketches that didn’t make it to air: We were warped out of our minds. We presented several sketches that didn’t make it on the air, things that were just too insane, like the abortion rally ventriloquist. We came up with a sketch called “Make a Death Wish Foundation” about a dead kid whose posthumous wish was to go to an amusement park. That did not make it on air, either. But I came up with the face of the kid, and it eventually turned into the “Fire Marshall Bill” face. David Alan Grier, on the show’s … fans: Spike Lee hated the show. He got really mad at us because he thought we were over-the-top about Do the Right Thing. He did not like us making fun of him. People would get angry when we poked fun at them. Arsenio Hall too — anybody that we really poked fun at. Carrie Ann Inaba, on working with Jennifer Lopez: There was magic in the skits, and the Fly Girls had this cult following. [Choreographer] Rosie Perez pushed us hard. She didn’t know how to pronounce words like “pirouette,” but it didn’t matter. She had a vision. Keeping Up with the Kardashians is getting pretty desperate for storylines in Season 16. It’s nothing to be ashamed over. It’s something that happens to all long-running television shows. On Sunday night, however, the reality star really scraped the bottom of the writing barrel, pretending that feuds existed between multiple family members who always get along. FIRST and FOREMOST, Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian continued to have beef… for really the dumbest of reasons. “Kourtney and I have been getting a bit closer over the past couple years and I love that she hangs out with me and my friends,” Kendall explained in a confessional. “But, to be honest, I felt like there were just some moments where she was a bit rude and it really started to get to me at a certain point.” She was referring here to Kourtney coming on a ski vacation with Kendall and allegedly “trying to be cool” by insulting her half-sister all over the place. For example, the oldest Kardashian put her “muddy” shoes all over Kendall’s car, Jenner told Khloe and also told her to “chill the f-ck out” when she was stressed about losing keys while skiing. Did Kourtney agree with this analysis? Of course not. She also confided in Khloe and said the thought Kendall was being “so f-cking annoying,” supposedly throwing a fit over adding potatoes to a grocery list and then getting mad when Kourtney said she would cover the cost. Yes, these were truly, reportedly topics of debate between the loved ones. “I definitely think it was unfair for Kendall to say I was bullying her,” Kourtney told Khloe in the car, adding: “We were just having a good time. She’s just way more uptight than I thought, because I wasn’t trying to make fun of her at all.” Kendall Jenner vs. Kourtney Kardashian: What’s Their Beef?!? The argument over the potato actually continued between Kendall and Kourtney later on because the former took major exception to how the latter was making her look. “Shut the f-ck up she said that,” Kendall snapped. “I did not say one thing about steering off of a f-cking list. This is gonna make me mad, right now. I hate that she’s like trying to make herself look better to make me look f-cking crazy. According to Kendall, she just wanted to avoid “wasting food.” Following her chat with Khloe, a peeved Kendall called up Kourtney to hash things out; that was NOT the end result, however. “Listen, I don’t have time to talk with a lunatic. We can talk when you’re ready to talk like an adult,” Kourtney told her. After Khloe tried to make peace, and got blamed herself for spreading so much gossip, this happened: Kendall Jenner Physically FIGHTS Kourtney Kardashian in New Promo! YIKES, right? Naturally, it was revealed that the two sisters were play fighting in order to punish Khloe. “We came to the conclusion that Khloe made this a little bit worse than it needed to be,” Kendall confessed later on. “So, we decided to stage a little fight to annoy Khloe and freak her out a bit for getting into our business.” This had to be the first time the stars admitted a storyline was fake, right? Progress! Elsewhere on the episode, Kris got into it with Kylie over… a parking spot? Over Kylie being a successful businesswoman? It was hard to really tell because this was also so stupid. “In front of everybody at the office she’s like, ‘Don’t ever park in my parking space again. It’s the one thing that means something to me. I’ve worked so hard,’” Kris told Kourtney over the phone at one point, stunned that Kylie talked down to her. And also seemingly stunned that Kylie does work, despite Kris often defending her in the past over this exact issue. “I’m important,” Kris added. “I’ve helped build this business with Kylie and I’m older. I’m the mom. I deserve a little bit of respect.” How did Kylie feel about her mom challenging her at work? Back in March, we reported on the sad news that beloved Jeopardy host Alex Trebek was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer . Today, Trebek is updating fans on his condition. Alex Trebek Cancer Update And even though it’s not phrased in the form a question, we’re happy to accept his response: “It’s kind of mind-boggling,” Trebek says in the video above. “The doctors said they hadn’t seen this kind of positive result in their memory… some of the tumors have already shrunk by more than 50 percent.” Trebek added that he’s “near remission” which is astonishingly good news, particularly given the disease’s 9 percent survival rate. “I’ve got a couple million people out there who have expressed their good thoughts, their positive energy directed toward me and their prayers,” he shared. “I told the doctors, this has to be more than just the chemo, and they agreed it could very well be an important part of this.” The nost added: “I’ve got a lot of love out there headed in my direction and a lot of prayers, and I will never ever minimize the value of that.” In a previous interview with fellow cancer survivior Robin Roberts, Trebek revealed that his condition has taken a tremendous emotional toll: “What I’m not used to [is] dealing with the surges that come on suddenly of deep, deep sadness and it brings tears to my eye, I’ve discovered in this whole episode, ladies and gentlemen, that I’m a bit of a wuss,” he said. As for how his illness has affected his hosting duties, Trebek revealed it hasn’t always been easy: “I taped the show and then I made it to the dressing room on one occasion, just barely, before I writhed in pain and cried in pain,” Trebek recalled. “And I had 15 minutes before the next show. So, I got myself together and spasms of that kind usually last about 10 to 15 minutes. So, all right, here we go again: ‘Anybody got any pain pills?’ And, I don’t like taking pain pills. But I got through it.” Currently, Jeopardy fans are thrilling to an historic run by James Holzauer, who recently passed the $2 million mark to become the show’s second winningest contestant of all time behind the legendary Ken Jennings. From the way things are going, it looks as though James will remain on the show for quite some time. And here’s hoping Alex will be, as well.

It’s a wild week for shocking accusations in celebrity memoirs. First, Lamar Odom claimed a pimp tried to kill him, and now former Saturday Night Live star Chris Kattan has leveled some appalling accusations at iconic producer Lorne Michaels. Kattan was an SNL regular from 1996 to 2003. He played a number of recurring characters, most notably one half of the Roxbury Guys, alongside Will Ferrell. In homage to his most famous schtick, Kattan titled his newly-released memoir Baby, Don’t Hurt Me . And unlike SNL stars past, he didn’t hold back in his portrayal of the show’s famously domineering — and oddly humorous — creator, Lorne Michaels. When Roxbury was adapted into a movie in 1998 (for our younger readers — this used to be a common practice for popular SNL sketches), Amy Heckerling was tapped to direct. Following the success of such films as Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Clueless , Heckerling was one of the most in-demand comedy directors in Hollywood. And it seems Michaels was willing to go to great lengths to keep her attached to the project. Or more accurately, he was willing to pressure his employees to go to great lengths. “Paramount would only do the movie if Amy signed on as a director, not as a producer,” Kattan writes. “[Michaels] wanted to make sure the movie happened, then [he] had to keep Amy happy.” He recalls a phone call with Michaels in which his boss instructed in him just how to keep Heckerling happy” “Chris, I’m not saying you have to f–k her, but it wouldn’t hurt,” he recalls Michaels saying. And so, Kattan got it on with Heckerling — and was respectful to Lorne in the process: “She thought it would be fun to have sex on Lorne’s desk,” he writes. “Wow, what a great idea! Jesus Christ. I said a polite ‘F–k, no!’ to that, so we ended up going to her office and having sex on … yep, you guessed it, the ‘casting couch.’ ” Michaels’ camp has issued a firm denial, stating simply: “This did not happen.” Obviously, we can’t say for certain who’s telling the truth — but it would be a pretty random story for Kattan to make up 20 years later.
