Woman Scams Family Into Believing She Has Cancer For Drug Money Addiction will even have you scamming the people closest to you… via ABC News A New York woman was indicted Wednesday on charges that she scammed her family and local businesses out of thousands of dollars by claiming to have cancer. The district attorney said she used the money she collected to support a h**oin addiction. Brittany Ozarowski, 21, of Long Island, allegedly scammed donors for at least 13 months, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office. She collected money from donation jars at small businesses and fundraising events created in her name. She allegedly even conned her family and set up a website, brittanyozarowski.com, which claimed she had bone, brain, ovarian, stomach and thyroid cancer, and that “treatments are about $33,000 each day.” “There was no cancer, there was no chemotherapy, there was no radiation,” said Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota. “The only thing that there was, was drugs and more drugs.” SMH. Up until now, we haven’t known a whole lot about the plot of The Hangover Part III except that the Wolfpack returns to Vegas. The latest trailer, however, is by far the most plot-heavy look at the final installment of the comedy franchise. You cannot possibly be serious… Phoenix Man Kills Wife And Son Because He Thought He Gave Them AIDS Via PhoenixNewTimes Eugene Maraventano, a 64-year-old Goodyear resident, told police this weekend that he stabbed his wife and son to death and failed to kill himself after multiple tries over the course of the next four days. “I killed my wife and I killed my son; I can’t kill myself,” Maraventano told a 911 dispatcher, according to court documents obtained by New Times. Maraventano told the dispatcher that he stabbed them both to death and added that his wife had cancer, according to the documents. Police arrived at the house and found Maraventano covered with blood and with wounds to his chest. He was taken to a hospital, and police found the bodies of his wife and son in different rooms of the house. Maraventano was interviewed at the hospital, where he started by saying he used to live in New York, where he “frequented with prostitutes.” He thought he may have contracted HIV or another disease and passed it on to his wife, Janet. Janet started to get sick recently, so Maraventano thought his wife might have had cancer or possibly something he gave her. Since tests showed she didn’t have cancer, that only left one option, in Maraventano’s mind — though it’s not clear why he told the dispatcher that his wife had cancer. Of course that is the only logical answer…SMH Maraventano said he made the decision to kill his wife about two weeks ago. He’d debated using a knife or buying a gun. He settled on the knife, even though, he said, he’s “not a violent person,” according to court documents. Four days earlier, while his wife was sleeping, he finally acted, stabbing her twice, he said. Maraventano also decided to kill his son, Bryan, because he “plays video games all day, has no girlfriend, and must be handicap[ped] because he can’t get a job.” Maraventano went down the hallway and knocked on Bryan’s door. The Postal Service said in February that it planned to cut back in August to five-day-a-week deliveries for everything except packages, as a way to hold down losses. But a statement Wednesday from agency’s Board of Governors notes that Congress has passed a spending bill that continues the long-time prohibition against reducing delivery days. As a result, the board says it believe that Congress “has left it with no choice but to delay implementation” of the five-day-a-week plan. Damn… Isht sounds like times are hard over there. Barack need to help ‘em get the dollars up!

SMH… The suspect allegedly targeted his ex , who wanted nothing more than to just be done with him. Both are now believed to be dead. Via NYDailyNews A man identified by employees as a former maintenance worker opened fire Tuesday inside a Detroit medical facility, sending workers and visitors screaming and rushing for the doors just moments before the building erupted in flames. Crews digging through the gutted Park Medical Centers building hours after the fire recovered the remains of a man and a woman, Detroit police said Tuesday night in a release. Authorities did not release the identities of the dead, pending autopsies, but police had been searching for 35-year-old medical assistant Sharita Williams and the fired maintenance worker, who relatives said was her ex-boyfriend. Williams’ mother, Antha Williams-Hill, told The Associated Press that one of her daughter’s co-workers told her that the man threatened her daughter inside. “He said, ‘You think I’m playing with you?’” Williams-Hill said. “He told the other girl, ‘I think you better get out of here.’ The girl left and said she then heard two shots.” Last week, Sharita Williams was granted a personal protection order against the man, according to Wayne County Court records. Williams-Hill said two days earlier, someone had emailed her sexually explicit photos of her daughter that also were posted on Facebook. The text accompanying the photos read: “How do you like Sharita’s new boyfriend?” her mother said. Dr. Stuart Kirschenbaum, a podiatrist who operated his private practice from the building for about 30 years, said he heard a security guard yell that the gunman “had taken Sharita and is shooting at other people in the building.” Destroyed in the blaze, Kirschenbaum said, was his collection of boxing gloves, personal letters and photos of boxing great Joe Louis. He estimated the memorabilia were worth about $100,000. Dwane Blackmon, Detroit police homicide inspector, declined to identify the maintenance man as the suspect but said everyone else inside except the woman and male suspect appeared to have escaped the blaze. Investigators were unable to quickly go deep into the one-story building, described by tenants as also having a basement, due to fears of the structure’s integrity. Williams-Hill said she was asked to go to the coroner’s office to identify whether the deceased woman was her daughter “because of the condition of the body.” She said her daughter had been dating the married maintenance man for more than a year, but their relationship was rocky and Sharita eventually began seeing someone else and even moved out of the city and into a Detroit suburb to get away. However, he refused to leave her alone, Williams-Hill said. Police and arson investigators on Tuesday interviewed people who worked in the building and relatives of Sharita Williams and the maintenance man. Blackmon could not confirm whether the two had been in a relationship. SMH. What a tragedy. Seems like people are coming unscrewed left and right these days.
