Shook Ones: The Walls Of An Oklahoma Man’s Apartment Run Red With His Dead Neighbor’s Blood

Dead Neighbor’s Blood Runs Down The Walls Of Oklahoma Man’s Apartment Via NYDailyNews It was a scene straight out of a horror flick. Thomas Kennedy’s wall was bleeding. You read that right, a bleeding wall. But Kennedy wasn’t living the Amityville Horror, he was simply an apartment dweller in the Oklahoma City suburbs. So he wiped the vertical red rivers off and didn’t think twice. “I got a sponge and I wiped it,” Kennedy told Oklahoma TV station KOCO. But the deluge in the kitchen kept on coming. “As soon as I wiped it, it started coming down again,” Kennedy said. Police were eventually called and they gave a surprising diagnosis. “As soon as they looked at it, that’s what they said, ‘This is blood!’ ” Kennedy recalled. HELL NAW, SHAWTY! In it, three rivers of blood flowed down the back of an open cabinet with a half-empty bottle of ketchup and pepper shaker sitting inside. The blood dripped past an electrical outlet and disappeared behind a small countertop backsplash. Police reportedly found an unidentified neighbor dead upstairs. The unlucky individual fell and hit their head, but the death was deemed to be of natural causes, according to Kennedy. He said a biohazard crew stripped his wall down to the studs at Fairfax Apartments in Midwest City, Okla. Kennedy is living elsewhere, for now. “For now”…sheeeeeeit, we’d never live in an apartment again! Image via Facebook

Is This A Joke? Former SAE Fraternity Member Apologizes While Surrounded By Black Leaders [Video]

SAE Fraternity Member Levi Pettit Apologizes One of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon leaders who lead that now infamous racist chant apologized yesterday for his actions. Levi Pettit was surrounded by members of the Oklahoma Black Caucus who supported him as he said he’d “pledge his life to fighting racism.” G….T…F…O….H. MSNBC reports: Flanked by black community leaders, one of the former University of Oklahoma SAE fraternity brothers captured on video singing a racist chant apologized Wednesday to those he had hurt and said he would pledge his life to fighting racism. “All the apologies in the world won’t change what I have done, so I will spend the rest of my life trying to be the person who heals and brings people of all races together,” Levi Pettit said in a press conference in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma State Sen. Anastasia A. Pittman, the chair of the Oklahoma Black Caucus, thanked the media in her introduction for “giving us this opportunity to introduce Levi Pettit to the world.” Pettit, who met with black civic leaders and pastors prior to the press conference, delivered a prepared statement in which he expressed regret and asked for forgiveness. “The people I met with have opened my eyes to things I wasn’t exposed to before this event,” Pettit added during a brief question and answer session, saying he hadn’t understood the hurt his words caused. “I think I knew they were wrong, but I never knew why or how they were wrong.” He would not discuss the chant, however, or say where he learned it or who taught it to him. “I’m not here to talk about where I learned the chant or where it was taught. I’m here to apologize for what I did,” Pettit said. Sigma Alpha Epsilon closed its University of Oklahoma chapter earlier this month after video surfaced of fraternity members taking part in the chant, which included a racial epithet and a reference to lynching. The university expelled Pettit and another student, Parker Rice. Stephen Jones, an attorney for the local SAE chapter, told NBC News on Wednesday that an agreement had been reached with the university, and that no other fraternity members would be expelled. Sooooo we can’t know who taught the chant and we’re supposed to believe that because Levi’s spent some time chatting over coffee with black leaders that he’s going to dedicate his life to the black cause? We call complete and utter bull isht. Twitter

Race Matters: Oklahoma Mayoral Candidate Apologizes For Dressing Up Like A Black Woman “Pollyester Kotton”

Oklahoma Mayoral Candidate Defends Dressing Up As A Black Woman Another case of “innocent” black face gone wrong. Via KFOR.com reports : An Elk City mayoral candidate is at the center of controversy after several YouTube videos were shared around town. In the video, Bill Helton, an Elk City commissioner and mayoral candidate, is seen dressing up as a black woman called “Pollyester Kotton.” Some say it is racist and offensive, but others don’t see anything wrong with the character. Helton, who is also a hair stylist, says Kotton’s character was born at the beauty shop. “The character came about from one of my clients, who was African-American, from Texas,” Helton said. With his client’s help, Helton says he transformed into Kotton. He has acted as her at numerous community events, raising money for people in need. The last fundraiser was in 2013. “We filled the house and raised over 20-something-thousand dollars for three families in need,” Helton said. Helton says the character was never intended to be offensive. “Anyone that’s offended, I would sit down and talk to them. Because my heart is, I would never do that and want to help whoever I can help,” Helton said. “If they were offended, then I apologize because that was never my intent, never my heart, to set out to offend someone,” Helton said Anthony R. Douglas, President of the Oklahoma State Conference NAACP, says the use of black face crosses the line. “Yes, this is a character. Men playing women or a woman playing a man is not new and can be very funny. But in black face? Have we learned nothing at all? This ‘character’ could have been just as effective done without the black face makeup and would be far less offensive,” Douglas said. SMH. Why is it so hard for people to just leave the black face alone?

Did You Know? NY Chapter Of Racist SAE Fraternity Hazed A Black Man To Death In 2011

NY Chapter Of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Hazed A Black Man To Death By now, everyone knows about the Oklahoma University chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon that was shut down after it’s racist chants about how “n-words” aren’t welcome in their fraternity. But recent racist headlines surrounding the frat are shining a new light on another salacious story about the organization from a few years ago. Cornell University in Ithica, NY was forced to shut down it’s own chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon after the tragic death of one of its members. Haitian-born Georges Desdunes, a member of the fraternity during a hazing ritual that was carried out by some of his established bothers and at least one new pledge. Via Inquisitr : Georges Desdunes, a 19-year-old aspiring pre-med student at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, was found dead in the early morning hours of February 25, 2011, The New York Times reported. Earlier that night, as part of a fraternity initiation ritual, Desdunes — the only son of a widowed Haitian immigrant mother from Brooklyn — was kidnapped by Sigma Alpha Epsilon members, who bound him hand and foot with zip ties and poured large amounts of alcoholic drinks down his throat. They then left him unconscious on a couch in the common area of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house, where a member of the cleaning staff later found him dead. Unsurprisingly Georges’ was left for dead by his “brothers,” who were all were nowhere in site when he was found, nor when authorities came to give him medical assistance. Via The New York Times : When the police and firefighters arrived, they found an unresponsive male. He was not breathing, had no pulse and was cold to the touch. They laid him on the floor, cut off his sweatshirt, suctioned his throat and applied CPR. He was put on a stretcher and taken to a hospital in an ambulance. The rescue workers remarked later that there was not a single fraternity brother in sight, just the cleaners, who told the police what they knew, then went downstairs to finish the kitchen. Even though Georges died as a result of the ritual, three frat brothers were acquitted of misdemeanor hazing charges. His mother filed a $25 million wrongful death lawsuit. This entire organization seems to be a huge mess. SMH.
