The cruise provided the couple an opportunity to celebrate her 56th birthday as well as their anniversary. According to People reports , Star wore a halter Dennis Basso gown which featured a bow neck tie detail and flared skirt, which she bought off the rack after speaking to Basso and asking the designer to choose a dress for her. According to her rep, Jones loved the dress so much she said she felt like “a beautiful beautiful Basso black Barbie bride.” Jones stopped by Kleinfeld Bridal for her headpiece and dress tailoring and stayed in her mermaid-style gown from the wedding to the reception, bustling the skirt for maximum movement on the dance floor. It was a pretty star studded event, with guests including Tina Knowles-Lawson, Phaedra Parks and Vanessa Bell Calloway. According to TMZ , former Seattle Seahawk Michael Bennett has been indicted for injuring an elderly woman in a wheelchair during Super Bowl LI. Let the Houston Police Department tell it, Bennett yelled “y’all must know who I am. I could own this mother f***er,” before allegedly “injuring” the woman AND pushing a 28-year-old “white female”. Now, KHOU has more details about the incident which raises serious questions about the veracity of the charges against Bennett. After the Patriots won the Super Bowl in 2017, Bennett, who played college football in Texas, wanted to go down on the field and celebrate with his brother, tight end Martellus Bennett. Security told him he needed to use a different entrance to the field, Bennett then allegedly pushed passed the NRG Stadium security team WHICH INCLUDED THIS 66-YEAR-OLD, WHEELCHAIR-RIDDEN PARAPLEGIC WOMAN and her chair was “pushed back” which allegedly caused a shoulder sprain. Mr. Insanity himself Shaun T just announced he and his husband Scott Blokker are expecting twins! Shaun made the announcement via Instagram over the weekend: “I wanted to tell people a long time ago because I like to live in the emotion of the excitement, but because our journey has been so long, hard and emotionally draining, Scott wanted to wait to protect me from the possibility of another let down,” he explains to PEOPLE of the events leading up to the announcement. “I decided that I wouldn’t push the issue and wait for Scott to decide when it was time for us,” Shaun T adds. “So he came home one day and said, ‘I think I’m ready to tell our fans.’ I was super excited and relieved. We love simple but effective and emotional announcements, and so a poem with flash cards was the perfect plan.” The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on Thursday — and when it comes to their children on the way, Shaun T says another date this year was extremely special. “We found out on my birthday, May 2,” he tells PEOPLE. “I knew we would get a result, but because we have been on the roller coaster before, I just said to myself, ‘It’s gonna be a great day or a greater day.’ We were on the tennis court too!” “We knew the pregnancy results would be coming mid-morning, so we wanted to just try to pretend like it was any other normal day, since we had been through this day 11 times before,” recalls Shaun T, 39. “We got a text in the middle of our practice, called our surrogate and were told the beyond-incredible news.” “We were flying home from a work trip talking about when and how we would announce it,” says Shaun T, noting that the couple’s surrogate will be 28 weeks pregnant on Monday. “We wanted to keep it simple [and] fun but also talk about how struggle is real, and if you keep your focus and never give up, your dreams will come true,” he insists. “Our journey to have a family is the essence of that.” Aw, that was pretty heartwarming riiiight? Sounds like they really have had some disappointments during this journey but we are glad to hear things finally worked out. Praying the babies are healthy and all goes well from here on out!
