Sports Club Fined $21,000 After Customers Make Racist Comments About Brazilian Athlete A Brazilian sports club is paying the price for having overtly rude customers. The Mogi Mirim club in Brazil has been slapped with a hefty $21,000 fine after a few of its’ patrons hurled racial slurs at a professional athlete who was conducting an interview inside of the establishment. via Boston Herald A sports tribunal has fined Brazilian club Mogi Mirim $21,000 because its fans racially abused an opposing player in a Sao Paulo state championship match this month. The tribunal issued the fine after fans allegedly called Santos midfielder Arouca a “monkey” while he was being interviewed after a March 6 match. Fans also reportedly told the former Brazil midfielder to go and look for an African team to play for. Mogi Mirim, whose president is former Brazil star Rivaldo, said it will appeal because it did everything possible to help authorities solve the case. Nobody was arrested, but the team’s stadium will remain closed pending the appeal. The ruling late Monday came the same day South American football’s governing body fined Peruvian club Real Garcilaso $12,000 after its fans racially abused Brazilian Cruzeiro midfielder Tinga in a Copa Libertadores match earlier this year. After the two rekindled their flirtation via text in recent weeks, RadarOnline.com has learned that he ditched girlfriend Karrueche Tran who stood by him during his recent stay in rehab for anger management. Shortly after being released from a Malibu treatment center on Thursday, Brown unfollowed Tran on Twitter. The day before, she had tweeted a picture of herself holding a sign that said “Treat your girl right.” But Tran seems to be handling the reported split fine. On Thursday afternoon, she tweeted several sexy shots of herself in sheer lingerie. Friday night, she was spotted partying at the OK! magazine pre-Oscar party on the arm of close friend J. Ryan. And on Friday, she seemed zen about the whole thing, posting a quote on her Instagram that read, “Flow with whatever may happen and let your mind be free: Stay centered by accepting whatever you are doing. This is the ultimate.” We’re glad she seems to be at peace with the whole thing… It can’t be easy dating someone like Breezy. Now the real question is, is it really over for them? According to Page Six reports : There was a male fur fiesta as Sean “Diddy” Combs and his entourage of Rick Ross and a “newly rekindled Ashanti and Nelly” showed up at WIP in SoHo on Sunday to catch DJ Whoo Kid’s set. Spies said they were living large in giant furs, just like Joe Namath. “Diddy and Rick needed extra room at the table for their furs,” said a source. “Ashanti and Nelly cuddled up next to them and complained Diddy and Rick’s furs took up their seats at every club all weekend.” Ashanti and Nelly broke up last year, and despite her saying they’d never reconcile, they looked “happy to be back together,” a source added. On Saturday, Ross performed at LES hot spot Finale for a crowd including Marc Anthony and Marlon Wayans. Surprise, surprise… We have a couple of ideas about why they may be working it out.
